Have A New Lesson On The Gameplay Of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Ancestors A new developer series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has started with the first going into the exploration of Ancestors’ map A new taste for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is here in the way of a developer diary of sorts to take us on a bit more of the exploration in the game. Specifically that feature in the game as Panache Digital Games has opted to leave out the maps for us and require us to do it all on our own. Not the worst of ideas, but it will be a shift from what we know in open world games like Ancestors. Read More...

Samurai Shodown The release window for Samurai Shodown on the PS4 and Xbox One is now set with gamers having the chance to play Samurai Shodown during PAX East this year It was announced not too long ago, but now we get to see that Samurai Shodown is coming back to us sometime in June this year. The reason for that is not truly out there from SNK but that is how it is for now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/18/19 — 3/22/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Such a huge week for all video games this was and I am not talking about just having GDC come and go. While there was a whole lot that came out of that, there was also a whole lot that came out outside of the major convention. From the multiple announcements from the various System Shock titles to the constant updates of Mortal Kombat 11 we also had. All to the biggest news, for me at least, with Bloodline 2 having the announcement and more coming to Mutant Year Zero. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Is No Longer A Hidden Secret
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The announcement is here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 with Bloodlines 2 aiming for a Q1 2020 release window Words cannot describe how excited I am as Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is now announced, but I will do my best here. Even though there is not much in the way of details for the game and an announcement trailer from Paradox Interactive to take in, we now know that all of the rumors from the past are now truths. All with Hardsuit Labs behind the screen developing the game and setting us up for a fun Q1 in 2020. Not only that, but it also looks like Bloodlines 2 will be hitting up the PS4 and Xbox One alongside a solid PC release. Read More...

Glimpse Some New Cinematics For Oddworld: Soulstorm
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Oddworld A new cinematic rendering breakdown for Oddworld: Soulstorm is here to show off how things will be made in this Oddworld title Here we go with another title getting shown off a bit more during GDC's Keynotes this year with Oddworld: Soulstorm getting a bit of the limelight. This time we are not seeing much in the way of gameplay for the game, but we are getting a good look at one of the cinematic sequences that Oddworld Inhabitants has put together. If this will show up in the final version of Soulstorm is still up in the air, but it does show off the way things will be presented when it comes to the scenes. Given how the other titles went in the past, I would not be surprised if this was all from the game and not fully pre-rendered though. Read More...

The Forgotten City Is Heading To The Xbox One Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The Forgotten City The Forgotten City is no longer a PC only title, as it looks like Xbox fans will also be able to enjoy The Forgotten City this year If you felt like you were being left out of The Forgotten City's release, as it was only shown for PC back at E3, then you will be glad to know it is branching out to the Xbox One at the same time. That time is still late in this year, but Modern Storyteller is poised to bring the game to the platform as well now. Not the largest of surprises given that The Forgotten City is based on a mod for a massively popular title on the systems and many would like to have options when playing these things. Read More...

Review — Degrees Of Separation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of February 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Degrees Of Separation We sit down and review Degrees Of Separation. A fun little platformer game that forces a split screen. Here is our review of Degrees Of Separation It is always nice to get a break from the normal triple-A titles out there and get a fun little thing like Degrees Of Separation mixed into the gaming loop. This is the latest title from Moondrop that takes the traditional platforming model and turns it on its side a bit. Not too drastically, but enough to catch the eyes of many and make Degrees Of Separation stand out from other titles. Read More...

Metro We sit down and review Metro Exodus. A new open-world form of this amazing franchise is here. Here is our review of Metro Exodus Here we go with another of those huge sequels slated to release as Metro Exodus is here to take us all back into the wastes of Russia to see how the characters we love will fair. It is not common that we see a book adaptation do so well in the video game medium, but 4A Games has done well so far and this new installment looks to be one of their next big entry. Even in the current situation where there are so many post-apocalypse video games out there. Read More...
