Well, less on what it is about but more on the gameplay we will have to use to make our way through the city that Metronomik is placing us in with this rhythm-infused action game. Something that has looked rather cool from the start of it all but has seemed a little odd in just hearing how it will flow. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Werewolf The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is here to give insight on how this Werewolf story will be in the World of Darkness Most titles in Werewolf: The Apocalypse, or the World of Darkness in general, are usually set somewhere in the North American area of the world with history only touching the rest of the world out there. It is something that feels like it has always been this way with the rest of the world only watching as primarily the United States gets the big highlight. It is a WORLD Of Darkness, though, and it looks like this is part of the story that Different Tales is going for in Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest. Read More...

Control A new bit of gameplay for the next expansion in Control shows how Control will link into the developer's other titles The next big expansion for Control is coming to us all on August 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This is something we know, as well as the fact that it will tie into one of Remedy's other big IPs from the years passed. That one being Alan Wake and all of the weirdness that game brought us back then. Read More...

Animal Farm Is Coming Into The Video Game World Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Animal Farm A video game version of Animal Farm is coming to us all and will help retell George Orwell’s Animal Farm for a new generation Another piece of literature is coming into the video game space as we now have confirmation that Animal Farm is in development for the PC this Fall. This is not some cute little simulator where you get to play as animals, but a retelling of the George Orwell piece that was an allegory for things much darker. All of which is being helmed by Nerial to try to help a new generation see the faults in the world in a different way. Much as the original Animal Farm tried to do back in the 40s. Read More...

Review — Metamorphosis
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Metamorphosis We sit down and review Metamorphosis. A Kafka-inspired platformer where you are a bug. Here is our review of Metamorphosis It is time for a new first-person platforming-based title to enter the ring for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC with Metamorphosis. This would be the latest title to come out of Ovid Works and All In! Games that dives into some of Franz Kafka's works in terms of theme and mood while having us navigate the world in the body of an insect in a mix between the two worlds. Those who know the original book, The Metamorphosis, will have a better understanding of it all even if the game was only inspired and not a direct retelling of it all. Read More...

Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time Is Offering Up A Lot More Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot New gameplay for Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time is here with some new twists and a look back at how it will use past Crash Bandicoot titles too A new and long look at Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time came out of the big State Of Play event yesterday and for those that missed out, we have the slice of it all. It was slipped in as a beefy little thing from Toys For Bob as they dove into all the changes and additions we can all expect to have here in the game. It has been a long time since we had a great Crash Bandicoot title so it would make sense that we would be getting something to showcase the IP and keep us all wanting more after October 2nd.
