Control
Control is getting some big updates next year and now we can see and know when the Control Ultimate Edition is coming
We all knew it was coming and now we know when for the Ultimate Edition for Control. We will be seeing this version of the game out there on from Remedy in February on the 2nd… if you are looking for the digital version on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. For those looking for the physical version of Control Ultimate Edition, then you will have to wait until March 2nd for that. A weird thing to see here, but it is something we will have to go with for now. Thankfully, that is not where this news ends for now.
Now that we know the when, let us take a look at a nice little tease for how this version of Control will be looking. All with a nice and short tease that came along with this announcement that gives us a great look at how the Graphics Mode will be adding in the Ray-Tracing into it all. Something that is a vast change that we can see unlike other games out there. Something that also looks like we can change on the fly when playing Control again. Have a look and then wait for the full video we know has to be coming in the near future to better sell us on picking it up again.
Control — Ultimate Edition Next-Gen Teaser
Control Ultimate Edition comes to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with a 60fps Performance Mode and 30fps Graphics Mode (with ray-tracing)
While we work on the full trailer, enjoy a sneak peek of both modes, recorded on PS5. Stay tuned for more info!
Digital launch: February 2, 2021
Retail launch: March 2, 2021
Does this get you excited for Control to come back to us here next week? Are you shocked by the way that the Ray-Tracing is looking here and that we will be able to change it on the fly? How well do you think the other updates will look in this game and will it be worth the wait until March for a physical version? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. For more on Control, please keep checking back here. We will have it all here for you and much more into the next year.
