Midnight Ghost Hunt Is Opening Up The Alpha Play Next Month
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Ghost Hunt A new bit of gameplay for Midnight Ghost Hunt is here to entice us to join in on the Midnight Ghost Hunt Alpha test in July Last year at E3 there was an interesting title that caught many eyes in the way of Midnight Ghost Hunt. That would be the title there before you think this is not about what Vaulted Sky Games is working on. It caught my eye and the many others out there that have been looking to get some fun ghost hunting and haunting on through a multiplayer game. Those who have been keeping a solid eye on Midnight Ghost Hunt know that they have been running alpha tests ever since the first announcement to make sure the game keeps the same level of fun the trailer offered up in the first place. Aloy Is Back In Action With Horizon Forbidden West
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of June 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Horizon The next title in the Horizon Zero Dawn line is announced with Horizon Forbidden West taking us further west than we have been before Another of the big and exciting announcements for the PS5 here has to be Horizon Forbidden West that we are getting next year. It feels almost like a given for this one given how popular the first title and expansion were and it makes sense to push it forward for the next-gen system here. Guerrilla Games would have been missing a shot here in my opinion if they did not go that way. All of which is something we do not have to discuss as Horizon Forbidden West has been announced and looks to bring Aloy back into our lives. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We are finally getting back into some kind of form with all of these new announcements we had for all the video games out there. Hells, not even just the game but we had our first look at the PS5 just days ago and now can see what to expect. Even if there is no price point currently. Something that will matter at some point given all of the video games announced just for it. Read More...

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Is Swinging Onto PS5 This Holiday Season
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of June 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man The next big Spider-Man story for the video game universe is now set down with the announcement of Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the PS5 It felt like it was almost a given that we were going to see this on the PS5, but it is official that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is on its way to the console around the same time as launch. Well, that and it is officially announced from Insomniac Games to be another expansion for the PS4 title in the same universe. So, do not think we have a sequel on our hands but more of an expansion to it all with the focus on the Miles Morales Spider-Man and not the core one we knew from that game. Read More...

Metal: Hellsinger Will Have A Slay Hell To A Hellish Beat
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellsinger A new rhythm-shooter, Metal: Hellsinger, is announced with Hellsinger mixing up the FPS and Rhythm genre to keep the blood pounding in our ears It is not like it has not been done before, but the rhythm genre and the FPS genre do not always seem like a go-to when thinking about a game, but here we are with the announcement for Metal: Hellsinger. This would be the next attempt at this style of game from The Outsiders and Funcom slated to hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC sometime next year. As the name kind of describes, Metal: Hellsinger is going to focus more on the heavy metal side of the music as we run ourselves through a hellish landscape slaying demons and devils to the beat of some amazing guitar licks and brutal screams. Godfall Will Ask Us To Ascend With A Nice Little Eclipse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Godfall A new teaser for Godfall has dropped to give off a very small bit more for the world of Godfall still yet to come There has been a huge lack of news for Godfall over the past few months with only minor bits being released here and there. Maybe this is because Counterplay Games is holding off for some big reveal here with a different show or maybe it is because Gearbox Publishing is trying to build some kind of hype with it all. No matter the case, there has been very little officially out there for Godfall and now we can add slightly more to it all. Slightly in terms of another thirty-second spot that gives us a look at a basic weapon in the game. Read More...

Haxity Is Going To Be Filled With A Lot Of Dark Synth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of June 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Haxity The soundtrack for Haxity is here to give us a feel for the cyberpunk world of Haxity that we will have in the background of the game Sometimes a game can be made by the soundtrack and this is what we have showing up for Haxity here today to see if that is the case. The cyberpunk setting seems to be the thing of this year with multiple titles out there and now we get to see what Megapop is going with to further get us into their title's new world. Haxity is currently out on the PC for Early Access, so some of you out there might have a little taste of it all as you are reading this. For those that have not gone in on it as of yet, we can now hear just what part of the dark synth music we will be getting via a new playlist. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/1/20 — 6/5/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this week is over and it was an insane one and not in the way of video games here. We will not dive into that, but given that there were a lot more fluff pieces and only a few updates for titles like The Last Of Us Part II and Godfall, one can get a bit of an idea of it all. That is, if they are not just living in all of the bullshit we have right now. It is what it is and, thankfully, we have our video games to fall back on. Read More...
