What?! Not another Massively Multiplayer Online game? Can someone please stop the madness? Well I guess we cannot stop the train, but we can add a bit of flavor to the mix. The Star Trek franchise is now releasing their MMO called….that’s right, Star Trek Online. The many rumors about rather the game will come out and who will release it has been haunting this title for years. Well now that Atari and Cryptic have picked up the game, everyone in the Star Trek universe can now rejoice at the fact that they can have their own world to live in now. The story takes place 20 years after the most recent Star Trek movie, where planet Romulus has been destroyed and the Federation is now helping the Romulans. Read More...

The Darkest Headquarters Of The Days

It seems that Funcom likes to do their Secret World information in two day chunks. It happened the first go around, where they sent out a video for the game then followed it the next day with a few images and a new facts about the game. I guess why would it be any different for their huge PAX unveiling of The Secret World right? Yesterday (9/3/09) was the video, now today (9/4/09) they hand out a little more. PAX 2009 Impression: Torchlight

On October 27th 2009, Runic Games will be releasing an Action Role Playing Game called Torchlight. Action RPG huh, so you mean like Diablo? Yes, just like Diablo. It’s not as dark, nor as scary as Diablo, but the feel and the controls of the game would make it Diablo-ish. But they aren’t stopping there. Runic Games is planning on making the game into a MMO, a FREE to play MMO, but will not be available until sometime in the future. They will probably be like Blizzard and they will release it when it’s done, and not rush its release. Read More...

PAX Hands On Impression: Aion

Arriving a bit late to PAX 2009 in Seattle, Washington and finally entering the Washington State Convention Center. The first game that I went and found was not what you would think. No, it wasn’t to the Blizzard booth to play more World of Warcraft. Instead I headed to the NCSoft booth to play their new Massive Multi-play Online game, Aion. Making a character was easier than I thought it would be and the customization was a lot more detailed as well. After making my female warrior for the game and logging in, I found the cut scene for the game action packed and was very interesting to get into. Read More...

Turbine Announces new Lord of the Rings Online Expansion

Today Turbine announced the latest expansion to their immensely popular Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, Lord of the Rings Online. Entitled Siege of Mirkwood, the press release comes on the heels of Blizzard's announcement last month of an expansion to...whatever that game is...Turbine looks at this as an epic ending to their award-winning expansion, Mines of Moria. For those that listen to the Aggrocast, it is no secret that I am a big fan and lifetime subscriber to Lord of the Rings Online. Blizzcon 2009 Day 2

Day 1 came and gone in a flash... of light. From the opening ceremony to shopping around to visiting many of the booths to the Costume, Dance & Sound A-Like Contest at the end of the day, I was wearing out really fast. Blizzcon 2009 Day 1

Never have I been in a place where I have seen so many nerds, geeks, and dorks in one area. Oh wait, yeah I have, as E3 and Comic-con were the other places. Just in case you didn't notice, Blizzard held their now annual event, Blizzcon, at the Anaheim Convention Center on August 21st and 22nd. Thousands of nerds, geeks, and dorks all gathered to see, play, and talk about Blizzard's 3 main franchises; Starcraft, Waracraft and Diablo. Friday morning, as I arrived to the convention center the first thing you would see are the nerds, geeks, and dorks waiting in line. My Wings are now Golden

Last week on the Aggrocast, Michael, Brian, David and myself discussed whether or not Aion will be a bust or a success. Well today NCsoft has announced that the highly anticipated MMO has been released to be manufactured, also known as going Gold. Recently Aion has been gaining a lot of momentum in the in the European and North American online communities, and rightfully so with more than 3 million hours of gameplay logged in Aion closed beta alone.This year at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany, and at Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, Washington, Aion will be available to play hands-on with the 1.5 version of the game. She's Baaaack!!

With World of Warcraft's 5 year anniversary coming up, Blizzard is releasing another content patch, numbered 3.2.2. What is the big change? Nothing major but to bring back the biggest bitch of the game, Onyxia. Why Onyxia you may ask? Well she was the most iconic beast in the game when the game was still fresh and new. One of the hardest Raid boss to take down, even when a group of 40 players would have a tough time taking her down. On August 12th Zarhym one of the Blues in the forums announced that for the 5 year Anniversary of the game that Onyxia will be converted to a 10 and 25 man raid. Read More...

The film was directed by Juan Carlos Pineiro Escoriaza and produced by Victor Pineiro Escoriaza and Peter Brauer.
