The Fun Of Getting Around Harran In Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Dying Light has been released showing off the many different ways you can get around Harran while free-running Here we go with another gameplay video for Dying Light to show off all the free movement we are going to have when the game finally launches next year. This has to be the biggest selling point and new innovation for Techland and Warner Bros. given it is coming out around the same time as a whole bunch of other zombie titles. We wouldn't want Dying Light to become some kind of white noise in the background of all the zombie killing we are going to be doing on our PS4 or Xbox One do we? Read More...

Check Out The First Assignment For Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Dying Light has been released and it gives more background on the game's world and overarching story line There is nothing like spoiling the first bit of a game and now we get to spoil the first "mission" of Dying Light. Well more IGN was allowed to do so as Techland and Warner Bros. can secure completely positive responses from them and not many others out there. Why else do you think the first bit of exclusive Xbox One gameplay went there and not to the social accounts for Dying Light or the companies involved with making and publishing the game? This Week In Video Games 11/24/14 — 11/28/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 29th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games The biggest take away for this week in video games would have to be Evolve, Reviews, and Telltale. When you look at the list of what we were able to cover this week in video games then it should be easy for you to see just about that. There were a few deviations from that list of items there but with American Thanksgiving and Black Friday causing so many hiccups in the news streams not many other developers and publishers had much in the way of news and updates for their titles. I am sure that will not be the case for the next few weeks given what is coming up in the world of video games. Read More...

Review: Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The first episode and debut of Tales From The Borderlands is now here. This has been one of those most talked about titles and fans of the Borderlands franchise have been questioning its worth since the first announcement about a year ago. This is a huge franchise with a lot of rabid fans so Telltale had their work cut out to make Gearbox's franchise prosper in a non-FPS way. Did they hit the nail on the head or is this just another QTE sit and watch a predictable plot. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Games, games, and more games has been the huge theme for the last few weeks. Not just in news but in video game releases. I'm Not Sure If These Are Traps In Dying Light Or Not
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Dying Light has been released to show off some of the 'traps' that we will get to use to handle the zombie plague I think my definition of traps is vastly different than those of the people behind Dying Light's marketing. We have a new trailer for Dying Light just below that claims to show off the traps of the game but most of what is show is that of the player using the environment to their advantage and nothing lying in wait. The whole point of a trap is to set something up so that you can have it spring on something while you are busy handling something else isn't it? Semantics aside though we do get to see some more fun ways to kill the infected in Dying Light. Read More...

Care To Hear What Gearbox Has To Say About Tales From The Borderlands?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
A new interview for Tales From The Borderlands from Gearbox has been released showing off what the original dev team has to say about their IP getting the Telltale treatment It looks like Gearbox has a few choice words to use when talking about Tales From The Borderlands and how it is being handled by Telltale. Gearbox has offered up the overall narrative for Tales From The Borderlands as it will affect the way any future iterations of the Borderlands franchise will play out but everything else is on Telltale. In this most recent interview from the original team that made us fall in love with their first person shooter they have a few things to say and they are all… Very positive. Read More...

Review: Escape Dead Island
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Escape Dead Island. It is a new spin on the Dead Island franchise all to expand the franchise but does it? None The Less Here Is Our Review The time is upon us to try and Escape Dead Island. No not to try and escape the need for the franchise but to actually play through and hopefully enjoy Fatshark's new take on the Dead Island franchise and to give us a bridge until the next major sequel to the core franchise hits our gaming shelves. Do Deep Silver and Fatshark have a great title for us on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC or is the cell shading style just as dead as the zombies we need to escape from. Here's what I have to say in my review of Escape Dead Island. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/10/14 — 11/14/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 15th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes week one in the insanity of video game releases. We've had a plethora of titles just drop and many more in the coming weeks leading up to December. Hells, we even had two reviews this week for #killallzombies and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here and have yet to even scratch the surface of all the titles that have been causing a stir in the video game industry. Yes, that is a slight jab at Assassin's Creed there but we'll leave the heavy stuff for all of those other outlets who can trash talk and not worried about getting black balled in the industry. Moving on to what we did have here though in the way of video game news. Read More...

Just Like The Gameplay, Escape Dead Island Is Sneaking Up On Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A new stealth gameplay clip for Escape Dead Island has been released from Deep Silver and Fatshark Games as we lead up to the release date Escape Dead Island releases next week on November 18th for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Just like the following gameplay clip for the game that date kind of snuck up on us didn't it? It did for me as I could have sworn that we just had the announcement for the game and first looks only a few months ago. Way to creep up on us there and give us all a nice creeper title to give us another bit of fun over the video game launch two weeks. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with another huge week for video games. Most of which should be hitting all of our systems in the next week or so. At least that is the major push for things currently as that is what most of the news, videos, and images are all about.
