The first trailer for the Ratchet & Clank tie-in game for the Ratchet & Clank film based off the Ratchet & Clank franchise has been released with great humor The title kind of says it all but we have our first look at the Ratchet & Clank game for the PS4 that will be launching sometime along with the Ratchet & Clank film next year. A new Skylanders title is coming with full speed in the way of Skylanders SuperChargers which also adds vehicles to the mix of the game By this point I know I have been questioning where the Skylanders franchise might and can go. It started the toys-to-life genre of video games and others have tried to follow suit. It looks like Vicarious Visions and Activision are again pushing things forward a little bit with Skylanders SuperChargers. There is a new Mad Max trailer that shows off a bit more on the game's story with hints of being linked to Mad Max: Fury Road By now I am sure most people have seen Mad Max: Fury Road and are familiar with the story of the Mad Max universe. Sure you could have had a nice filler from the original films and lore but now we can say everyone born after the 80's should know about Mad Max. Not that Avalanche Studios version of the game is directly linked but we can easily see how one influenced the other in the most recent story trailer for Mad Max. Sad news as Dead Island 2 has been delayed due to unreleased reasons but to make Dead Island 2 a better game You can't tell me you are all that shocked to hear that Dead Island 2 has been delayed here. The original release schedule put it on task to be released Spring of 2015 and since that is about to come to a close and we haven't had much in the way of updates since August of last year it would seem that Deep Silver or Yager were going to make this announcement sometime soon. Sadly though that announcement is today as Dead Island 2 has been pushed back to a 2016 release instead of a 2015 release. Avalanche Studios has released our first look at the gameplay for Just Cause 3 as well as a release window of this holiday season It's been teased and spoken of before now but we now have the first gameplay trailer for Just Cause 3. A new gameplay demo for Alan Wake 2 has made its way online to show us the Alan Wake 2 game we may never get It always sucks when a game like Alan Wake 2 will never see the light of day. Pun intended. What sucks more is when you get to see what the game could have been via gameplay demo and proof of concept work. That is what we have here to spread the hurt from Remedy moving on to do Quantum Break over Alan Wake 2 for their next huge title. The prior looks amazing and don't get me wrong, I still want it, but after seeing what the team was doing for Alan Wake 2 it is quite upsetting that we may have to be left waiting for a long time to see anything you are about to see hit our Xbox One or Xbox 360. A few new screenshots for Mad Max have made their way online for us all to look at in awe as 'Mad Max' beats down his enemies September 1st just doesn't seem like it is going to get here fast enough so I can play Mad Max. It just won't and I don't think any level of complaining is going to rush Avalanche Studios to try and push the release date any closer. The developer tools for Dying Light have been released on Steam for all to make their own creations in the game's engine A short while ago it was mentioned that Techland was going to be giving PC gamers access to the Dying Light developer tools. Originally there wasn't much listed as to what would be coming when these tools came to the public. It was mostly thought to be nothing too extensive by some but it looks like those people would be wrong as the Dying Light developer tools are going to allow for complete game altering events. Techland does April Fool's right with a nice little joke added in for Dying Light for the one day only Tomorrow is a date that I usually loath but it looks like Dying Light is going to be giving us all something to enjoy instead of the normal BS of April Fool's day. It looks like the next patch, which will be free to all for one day only, will completely alter some of the stats of your character in the game. It looks like instead of making some elaborate hoax, Techland is taking the joke and giving it to us in the way of crazy super-strength in Dying Light. New characters and descriptions have popped up for Mad Max during Game Informer's huge coverage of the game Just in case you've been missing out, it is Mad Max month over at Game Informer so they can try and capitalize off the hype for the new film that is coming out in a little over a month. None of the information there is for the film but for the new game coming from Avalanche Studios. At least it would feel like it was new information if it was anything that the developer hasn't already told us or shown the world before. Hells, even Mortal Kombat X had a delay announcement for the last gen systems. Nothing like what happened to Uncharted 4 and Homefront being delayed until 2016 but at least nothing was cancelled.
