Get A Feel For How Large Mad Max's Wasteland & Strongholds Are
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Mad Max has been released and it gives a really good feel for the size of the Wasteland as well as a few looks at the crazy character of Mad Max Nothing gets my blood pumping in the morning like a good action packed game trailer and Mad Max never disappoints it would seem. Avalanche Studios has been doing a great job of bringing the franchise to life and again with this new trailer they show how Mad Max isn't going to be a game full of just Max, Warboys, and Scrotus' legions duking it out. No. There are loads of other bizarre and crazy characters in the Wasteland of Mad Max and here we get to meet a few more. Read More...

Dying Light Getting Dirt Buggies & Story DLC With The Following
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The rumored DLC for Dying Light from last week has panned out and it looks like Dying Light is getting those dirt buggies and a whole lot of story DLC That didn't take too long for Dying Light to get confirmed on getting drivable vehicles as DLC. It was kind of teased last week when Techland posted a "Half A Year" of DLC video on their social media accounts but it wasn't completely defined. Now we flash forward to this week and it has been confirmed pretty much that Dying Light is going to be getting said vehicles in the mix of a LARGE story DLC expansion called The Following. Not to be mistaken for the Kevin Bacon TV series that recently wrapped up. Read More...

Dying Light Celebrates Half A Year Of DLC With…More DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Half a year's worth of DLC for Dying Light has been released to date and the developer celebrates by teasing more Dying Light DLC It is hard to think that Dying Light launched just about a half a year ago and we are still getting solid updates and DLC for the game. Techland has made sure to do way more than just the basics we have become accustomed to in our video games to date. They could have just said, "We fulfilled our Season Pass DLC and now you are on your own" but they keep pumping out more Dying Light DLC on a regular basis. That is of course why Dying Light hasn't fallen out of view in the community and has had longer staying power than most other zombie games out there. Read More...

Review — Tales From The Borderlands: Catch A Ride
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Catch A Ride. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It is a long cycle for new episodes of Tales From The Borderlands to be released but we've had the third episode of the series released and I've finally had the time to sit down and give the extra story bit a play through. I mean the second episode of Tales From The Borderlands landed in March and this one landed near the end of June. At least there wasn't a delay between all of the platforms here and everyone who has a PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Gaming PC were able to play through the next bit. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new listing shows that Mad Max is getting a Post-Apocalypse Edition that includes Fury Road and Mad Max license plates Those hoping for a great Mad Max collector's edition or premium edition can now look forward to the Post-Apocalypse Edition…at least if you live in Australia for now. Yes, this is a new addition for Avalanche Studios Mad Max and this edition comes packaged with the hit Mad Max: Fury Road as well as a few other goodies. All of which can be seen on the Australian EB Games pre-order page for Mad Max. This is why I state only in Australia for now as it has yet to show up in any other region yet but it would make sense that Warner Bros. Read More...

The Many Different Ways Just Cause 3 Was Played At E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We finally have that Just Cause 3 E3 demo to look at but quite a few different ways it could have played out as Just Cause 3 wants to I know I missed out on the Just Cause 3 E3 demo when the expo was going on so it is nice that we are now getting to look at it about a month later. Not only are we getting a look at it but we are also getting a guided tour from Avalanche Studios on what is going on as well as the many ways you can approach missions and events in Just Cause 3. Not to mention all of the crazy explosions, murder, and mayhem that we should be looking at the game to provide too. It wouldn't be a Just Cause game without all of that right and Just Cause 3 is not going to be a slouch in the franchise at all. Read More...

Skylanders SuperChargers Is Going Dark For Another Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of July 2015 - 04:59 PM ]
A new Dark Edition has been announced for Skylanders Superchargers and it allows for more Kaos gameplay in the franchise In the last edition of Skylanders we had a cool Dark Edition as we had villains in tow and it looks like Skylanders SuperChargers is also going to be doing the same thing. As if adding in vehicles wasn't enough for Vicarious Visions it looks like they wanted to make sure we all had the option to play the "evil" versions when we finally get the game on September 20th. Before you get worried about it Skylanders Superchargers' Dark Edition will be available in starter pack form for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U versions of the game. No need to worry outside of being able to find the edition for sale anywhere. Read More...

Time For A Bit More Story On Tom Clancy's The Division
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of July 2015 - 04:59 PM ]
We've seen a lot of gameplay for Tom Clancy's The Division but only a bit of story but thankfully here is a bit more on that for The Division There are a lot of people out there excited for The Division to finally launch on March 8th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I know I am excited to see if the visual quality is upheld by Ubisoft or just upgraded for E3 demos and such. I also know that a lot of people flipped over The Division after seeing the new gameplay at E3. Maybe not on my social accounts but it was all the buzz around the booths on the show floor. E3 2015 Hands On — Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Two years ago we had a huge splash with the Plants Vs. Zombies franchise during EA's big E3 showcasing and again they have blown it out of the potted plant again with Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. Not only has Pop Cap been working on all their other IPs and keeping the original up and running but now we are getting a sequel to the amazing arena shooter that a lot of people may have never knew they wanted. E3 2015 Impressions — Skylanders SuperChargers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Skylanders SuperChargers In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the guilty pleasures that I have had over the years have been seeing the next Skylanders title in action at E3 and this year was no slouch as Skylanders SuperChargers was on the scene and showing off all of the new hardware and story coming to the franchise. This would be the latest from Vicarious Visions that is bringing vehicles to the mix of Skylands and to bring down the Evil Lord Kaos and all of his Doom-machines. If you knew the franchise that explanation of Skylanders SuperChargers would make perfect sense but none the less we have new, or newish, characters and their vehicles that also brings new gameplay and we were on the scene to see what we can expect to be new to the franchise with Skylanders SuperChargers when it launches on September 20th on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, and 3DS. E3 2015 Hands On — Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Mad Max In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the games that helped start E3 off with a bang, at least for me, was Mad Max from Avalanche Studios. It was revealed back in 2013 before the new film was even a sparkle in our eyes by Avalanche Studios and it captured my attentions back then so I was overly excited to get to see how Mad Max has progressed over the years of development. It launches on September 1st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so hopefully it has made it to a state where we can remove the idea it is a Mad Max film tie-in title. Luckily I was able to lay hands on Mad Max at E3 so I can report back how it has progressed and if it will be worth our time in a few months here. Read More...

Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The EA Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below We made it through the Microsoft briefing and now it is on to what EA has to bring us. Based on what we had to see earlier today it is safe to bet we are going to get to see more on Garden Warfare 2 and most definitely more on the wealth of Star Wars that EA is working on here. It is also pretty damn sure we are going to get a look at all of the new EA Sports titles, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and Need For Speed. Pretty much the usual suspects that we always get to see during EA's big showcases at E3. Read More...
