Video Ghastlies Teases Us All With Some Cursed Tapes That Need To Be Put To Rest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of April 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Video Ghastlies A new horror title, Video Ghastlies, is teased for us all with these new Video Ghastlies dropping new tapes into the world that are just too dangerous The '90s found footage style of game is coming at us all once again with the tease we have for the upcoming Video Ghastlies. A new title that is on the way to the PC, at some date, from Katanalevy and Oro Interactive that will be placing us back in that era and watching some banned footage from the past. All with that fun VHW format to things and some various other gameplay elements to make sure Video Ghastlies breaks the flow up just a bit. As if mixing up various horror genres in the mix of the game was not going to do all of that already. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of April 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Ready Or Not Action title, Ready Or Not, is now on its way to the consoles with a bit more content on the way to Ready Or Not as well I do hope you are ready, as it looks like Ready Or Not will be blowing the doors open on the consoles this coming Summer. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, to be a little more specific on the systems that VOID Interactive will be dropping the games onto. Maybe it will hit the others down the line, but for now, this is where the missions are about to go. All of which have been tuned to work perfectly for Ready Or Not on the consoles just as they do on the PC. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/21/25 — 4/25/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of April 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We can finally put a pin in this week for video games and everything else we had going on during the week. Mostly it was video games, but there was the "fun" of trying to get hotels for SDCC in the mix too. That is a whole different story that will be in the works in the future and not the biggest highlight for the week here. Those highlights would go to video games like DOOM: The Dark Ages, Star Wars Zero Company, and RoboCop: Rogue City to name a few. Read More...

DOOM: The Dark Ages Welcome Us All Further Into The Cosmic Realm
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of April 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM More of that sweet DOOM gameplay is out there as we see a new realm we will get to explore in DOOM: The Dark Ages The thoughts that DOOM: The Dark Ages was going to start to dip into the Lovecraftian horrors out there seem like they have merit now. That is, id Software is finally here to show off a new realm that we have yet to see in any game and it will be touching a bit more on that cosmic horror that the other genre is known for. Here we go with the DOOM Slayer entering into the Cosmic Realm when the game launches on May 15th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not the crossover I thought we were going to get here, but one that looks like it will add a whole lot more to the game than just some newly skinned demons out there. Read More...

The Slayer Has Been Activated As We Wait For DOOM: The Dark Ages
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of April 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM Have one more look at the DOOM Slayer as they rock out some new gameplay for DOOM: The Dark Ages fresh from WrestleMania 41 One of the biggest spectacles in entertainment went down over the weekend with WrestleMania 41 and during all of that, we also had some other big splashes with DOOM: The Dark Ages. More to the point, we were given a solid look at the world and Slayer that id Software is going to be sending our way on May 15th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A solid little piggyback with all that was going on, but for those looking more into the video games, it offers up so many more things in the game's engine to look at. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/14/25 — 4/18/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of April 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week has come to a close and we had all kinds of video games to talk about once again and a few things that were not specifically in that realm. Hells, we even had a bit of a tease for things that could be coming to SDCC with Twisted Metal starting up right after that event. That is ignoring the fact that we have Lost Records: Bloom & Rage out there with its second Tape and then The Outlast Trials going even darker next week with another big update for the IP. So many more video games to get the highlight too and help carry us all until Cronos: The New Dawn launches. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is one more week of video games and other fun interactive media in the bag around here. Another that highlighted all of those new releases we knew were coming this week like The Last Of Us Complete and other updates for Marvel Rivals out there. Not to mention the other updates for The Outlast Trials and No More Room In Hell 2. We were also given some time to finally get one of those video games we have been reviewing on display out there too. Read More...

Review — Carmen Sandiego
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of April 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Carmen Sandiego We sit down and review Carmen Sandiego. The Crimson Criminal is back and teaching us all a bit more about the world. Here is our review of half of Carmen Sandiego The Carmen Sandiego IP is certainly one that has been around for a while and holds a place in so many hearts out there for those who have been gaming since the 80s when the original title dropped out there. A solid way for kids to learn about the world and other bits of history from HarperCollins Productions and then spinning off into so many other titles and media as well. One might be hard-pressed in the modern age not to know about the IP or the titular character. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/31/25 — 4/4/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This certainly was one week of video games out there to help distract us all from the horrors of the real world once again. Not only did we get to see new horrors like Finding Frankie and Amber Alert get some highlights, but we also were able to see something for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 and the full announcement for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the mix of all of these video games out there. Even if it does look and sound like many are going to have to wait longer for that console to finally launch out there. Trade wars are going to make everyone suffer and it is not something I thought we would ever specifically need to see in the little subculture of the internet. Read More...

South Of Midnight The launch for South Of Midnight is almost here and we have one more look at South Of Midnight just ahead of all of that It is time to head into the Deep South out there and see more of the mythologies that do not normally get highlighted, with the launch for South Of Midnight. The development is done and those who picked up the more deluxe version of the game can be playing it right now, with the rest waiting until April 8th to fully dive into what South Of Midnight. Hop On Your Bike & Get Ready To Survive As We Take Quite A Ride
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of March 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Quite A Ride A new horror title, Quite A Ride, is on the way to us all with Quite A Ride offering up a new twist for a horror game It is always fun to see when developers try to offer up fun and new twists to genres and here we go with another shake up to the horror space with Quite A Ride. A new PC title is on the way from Goodwin Games that will have us riding on our own little bike through a dark and strange time in the world. One that could have us all in the clutches of new terrors out there is we stop riding at all. That does seem to make Quite A Ride more of a bike riding simulation than the normal walking simulation we have out there. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/24/25 — 3/28/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week has finally come to an end and we can hopefully jump into some of those fun video games out there to unwind. I know I need to do that a bit more after the week, and thankfully, we have the likes of KARMA: The Dark World and Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror as part of the list we can jump into. That will also help to hold us all over as we wait even longer for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 and Indiana Jones And The Great Circle to finally come out for many more gamers out there. All amazing things to look forward to and keep our eyes on as we head into the next week of video games out there and the other things next week will, sadly, bring… Next week holds April Fool's Day, so we are going to need to be ready to wade through any and all of the bullshit that is shown off for our video games in general. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of March 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was one wild ride of a week here when it comes to all of our video games out there. It is interesting that it did start and end with the same title to get hyped for. Especially, when we had the launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Resident Evil 3 on iOS, and a demo for Mars Attracts hit us all in the face too. That is not to ignore any of the smaller titles in the mix like Post Trauma. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of March 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil Another of the Resident Evil titles is on the iOS now with the launch of Resident Evil 3 for the zed heads out there There is no slowing down in the zombie content out there for those on the iOS devices as it looks as if Resident Evil 3 is now out there for all you Apple fans to enjoy. This would also be the remake version of the game that Capcom put out not too long ago and not just a port of the original version from so very long ago. That is a bit more exciting with all of the other Resident Evil remakes and recent titles making it onto the devices out there. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as promised, we were able to come into this week swinging with all manner of fun updates for our video games and then keep it all going.
