A new indie-horror title, Liminal Point, is announced with Liminal Point taking us back to some classic roots in the genre
It is time to remember some of those classic roots in the horror genre out there with the announcement for Liminal Point. Not because this is a game show or trivia-style game about the genre, but more that it looks as if HideWorks is leaning into some of the elements that made it so popular back when titles like Resident Evil and Silent Hill were just emerging. Yeah, we are going way back and with Liminal Point not leaning into the other basics of classic visuals to give it a retro feeling. That feels like the bigger twist when it comes to titles like this as it does look like a game that could be coming out in 2026 on the PC instead of one that came out in 1996 on the PC.
