Welcome To The Serpent Holes With Darksiders III’s Planned DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders Two new bits of DLC for Darksiders III have been confirmed and we can look forward to diving into Darksiders III’s serpent holes The curtain has been pulled back a bit more for Darksiders III as we now have word on two bits of DLC heading to the game post-launch. Why Gunfire Games will not be able to get them in before November 27th is still to be a mystery, but now we know there will be more for the game once you have played and beaten the core experience. I just hope that nothing opts to overshadow Darksiders III after launch to make anyone forget to go back and experience the extras that are now coming. So many other things will dictate that, but for now, we can sit back and now they are coming. Read More...

Get To Know More Of The Charred Council Before Playing Darksiders III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders New lore videos for Darksiders III are coming and the first one out gives us a recap and look at The Charred Council that governs Darksiders thus far It feels strange to me to know that Darksiders III is going to be some gamer's first introduction to the franchise on November 27th. Some due to age and not being able to fully enjoy the titles since THQ Nordic was even around and others who have only started to pay attention since Gunfire Games took over. No matter the case, there are some new gamers coming in and they most likely missed out on the story from before. They need to be brought up to speed on just what is going on in Darksiders III before they set out to save the world with Fury. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Control The next developer diary for Control is here to walk us through both the new and old directors for the Federal Bureau of Control We are back with yet another developer diary for Control here and this one takes a nice dive into the powers that were and will be in charge of the FBC in the game. We have already met one as that will be the main character we are playing as in the game, but until now we have only had a few short glimpses of what Remedy has set up as the former director of the organization. All with the dark and shadowy presence of the Cigarette Smoking Man from The X-Files. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Put one more week of talking about all of these video games in the bag as we head off to the weekend. A wonderful time for us to catch up on all of those titles we may have missed all to get ready for when Red Dead Redemption 2 and Hitman 2 drop on us soon. It will also let us dive into other video games like Mega Man 11 and Life Is Strange 2 as we may have missed out in the mix of it all. I know that is along the lines of what I will be doing as well as other things. Read More...

New Darksiders III Gameplay Shows Off Why Laziness Will Not Win
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Darksiders More footage of Darksiders III’s Sloth is here to show off more of the story leading up to the fight and just how it can go down in Darksiders III We have even more gameplay for Darksiders III here to share this week and it may seem a bit familiar. We get to see that good old fight between Fury and Sloth again, but this time without the skipping and obfuscation that Gunfire Games put on the first time. You know, the stuff that keeps story spoilers away from Darksiders fans who want to experience the game completely the first time. Take that as your first "spoiler alert" here as this does show off a bit of the game's story and other bits that THQ Nordic should have held back on. Read More...

Do you remember this title? It has been almost two years since we last heard some substantial information here from Elastic Games on it all. Read More...

Fury Will Be A Force To Recon With In Darksiders III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders Another Hollow for Darksiders III is shown off for Fury and it changes a few other things for Darksiders III than just her flame color It looks like the next Hollow that Fury will have imbued upon her is here for Darksiders III and this one is all about Force. That is what it is called as we watch as Gunfire Games mixes in its own version of the Infinity Stones into the franchise here. No, they are not really doing that, but it looks that way as we get different extra abilities to use in Darksiders III to help take down all of those deadly sins in the new world here. The world that War has brought us here. Read More...

Try Not To Scream Or Laugh At The Conjuring House
by Chris Avila [ Monday, 1st of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Conjuring A new horror title, The Conjuring House, is here to help get you in the horror spirits while conjuring up some laughs too October is here and even though it came out just before, it is time to have a look at The Conjuring House on the PC. A new paranormal horror experience from RYM Games that is out to make you scream, curse, and then laugh about all of your fears afterwards. At least if that is how you cope with things like this as it does not look like there is any true humor on The Conjuring House. At least for the one experiencing it all. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/24/18 — 9/28/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of September 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when you thought this week was going to be all highs in terms of video games, it took a hard twist. Not as terrible of one that we could have taken, but it did end on a bit of a downer. Even when hyped up with new stuff for Hitman 2 and Death Stranding to kick it all off and some new Kingdom Hearts III and Fallout 76 in the middle. At least we are walking into the times when all of the big releases happen for those video games and we can just get into playing and enjoying them. Read More...

Soon We Will Pay For Our Crimes In Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Sinner The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption is now set and we will soon be playing Sinner on our consoles with PCs soon to follow Talk about a title, Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption, which slightly fell off the radar but is coming back strong. It has been some time since we last heard anything about the game and the release date for it was still vaguely "before the end of the year" from Another Indie. That would be the studio working on Sinner and not just a phrase thrown out there for those who may have completely fallen off with it all. Thankfully, we are back with some new information and it looks like we will be spinning the game up on our PS4, Xbox One, or Switch on October 18th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of September 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week With all of that, we close yet another week of fun in the world of video games. All as we see other video games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 march ever closer to their release date. Not to discount Red Dead Redemption 2 in the mix there. Something that also dives into the personality and past of the character when you start to get into the nitty-gritty. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of September 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Pathfinder A new look at the character creation process for Pathfinder: Kingmaker is here and we get to see how replayable this version of Pathfinder can be The day is almost here and we can all take a shot at the Pathfinder: Kingmaker adventure path in its new virtual form. This has been a title I have been keeping a close eye on for some time now and September 25th is almost here. Now we have a look at how we are going to be crafting our Pathfinder character here and it truly looks like Owlcat Games has taken their time to make sure we have the same feel as if we were sitting around a table with friends. Even if we do not get the full array of options that we would if we went pen and paper. Read More...

Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Be Going Online Shortly After Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption An online mode for Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming and will be going into full beta mode shortly after Red Dead Redemption 2 launches It is all something we figured would be coming to Red Dead Redemption 2 and now it is officially coming. That is, Red Dead Online will be heading to the game and Rockstar Games has finally given us the most basic of details on it all. Given how their other online systems have worked for their other titles, I will not say I am shocked. I am excited though as they can take what they have learned from their other avenues into the system and perfect it more for Red Dead Redemption 2. Read More...
