Thief Looks Like It Is Full Of Loot And Moral Victories
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of January 2014 - 09:22 PM ]
We have some new screen shots for Thief as well as a bit about how you are urged to take the moral high road during gameplay. There is even a Trophy/Achievement involved… So when you hear a game title like Thief you don't normally think that there will be any sort of positive moral values or overtones. I mean it should be a game about stealing things from people who have too much or just what you want. You know, embodying the concepts of greed and envy; two things that are not usually considered traits of the morally upright. Read More...

A Not-So-Exclusive Look At The Burial At Sea: Episode Two
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of January 2014 - 04:48 PM ]
The second episode of the Burial At Sea DLC of BioShock Infinite has a new and 'Exclusive' trailer out. If you don't care about minor spoilers then check it out. I will still go on record and state that I was not a big fan of the BioShock Infinite story but the Burial At Sea DLC has kind of attracted my interest. Not because it is back in rapture, but it seems to have what the first two titles had; an interesting and creative storyline. Granted I have yet to play the DLC yet and only have the trailers to work off so I could be way wrong. Read More...

The latest Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 trailer gives a full montage of all the voice actors and major characters we will see in the game. Who doesn't like a good montage? There are also a couple of in-game shots of the game's environments and gameplay but who cares about that? Am I right? Read More...

Look What We Will Have To Turn Into To Beat Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 18th of January 2014 - 06:37 PM ]
Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 is on the horizon of launch and it is time to see all the locations and transformations we'll have to go to and use to defeat Satan We are on the cusp of the release of Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 so it is high time to see what we gamers are going to have to turn into to help destroy the forces of Satan. I'm of course not talking about turning yourself into an ultra-nerd gaming machine that does nothing but grid boars to level up. I am talking about the new dragon form that can be assumed by Gabriel or Dracula, if you want. Read More...

Alien Isolation Is Proof The Franchise Will Never Die
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of January 2014 - 07:24 PM ]
Alien Isolation has been announced from Sega and Creative Assembly games but will it be the Aliens game we hoped we were getting before? During the hullabaloo of CES it looks like Sega announced a new Aliens title, Alien Isolation. Yea, after the huge fiasco that was Aliens: Colonial Marines, it looks like Sega and 20th Century just doesn't want to let the franchise fall aside and let the fans still love what they already loved. One bonus that Alien Isolation does look to have is that it is being handled by a new studio, so there is that. Why don't we take a look at the announcement trailer and see what is going on here. Basement Crawl Is Shaping Up To Be The Creepiest 'Bomberman'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of January 2014 - 11:52 PM ]
Basement Crawl, the new title coming to the PS4 is on the edge of release…so let's have some new screenshots. Back during Halloween I brought you a look at Basement Crawl. I also had a bit of fun speculating on what the game was all about outside of being a creepy looking PS4 title. If you're eyes haven't already betrayed me an ventured below to look at the new screenshots, then let me inform you that we have five new shots that help show off how Basement Crawl is like a creepy version of Bomberman in sorts. Not only that, but it kind of looks like my fun speculation is a little on par. At least as it goes with the trying to kill each other in a creepy basement. Read More...

Review: Nihilumbra
by Kenton Winkfield [ Sunday, 12th of January 2014 - 07:53 PM ]
We sit down and review Nihilumbra. How does this quirky 2D side-scroller handle? As much as i enjoy a game with many difficult maneuvers and complex button combinations to master, a simple game is always preferred after a long day. But simple gameplay can make it difficult for a game to hold my attention, and keep me from getting bored. The people at BeautiFun Games have created the perfect game to fill that position. BeautiFun Games is a 7-person indie development company located in a city just outside of Barcelona, Spain. Read More...

A Few Updates On PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of January 2014 - 05:31 PM ]
PlayStation Now was announced and we got some of the news but after getting to talk to some of the people behind the service we have a few updates. Earlier I wrote about my experiences with Sony's new PlayStation Now service that will be coming to market in the next half a year or so. I had a few reservations as well as a few other questions crop up during my writing. Being semi-responsible I decided to go and get some better clarifications and answers to expand on my experience. Here is what I learned directly from the horse's mouth at CES. Read More...

CES 2014 Hands On: PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of January 2014 - 05:32 PM ]
Sony unveiled PlayStation Now at this year's CES and had a little taste of it on the show floor. Here's what I discovered while giving it a whirl. In case you have missed the announcement, Sony has announced PlayStation Now as a new video game streaming service coming to the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and Bravia TVs in the near future. Think of it along the lines of OnLive or the PC game streaming feature from GameFly but aimed at PlayStation games and at Sony products solely. That is the general gist of things but here's a bit more of a break down for you. Read More...

The Steam Machine is one of the hot items at this year's CES and I was lucky enough to get all handsie with one of the units and controllers. What did I think? We Sit Down And Review The Walking Dead Season 2 - All That Remains. It's The First Episode But Does It Keep The Steamroller Of A Franchise Rolling? I've finally had time to digest the events of the first episode of the second season of The Walking Dead from Telltale. It's been over a year coming and we now get to see what happens to the adorable little Clementine and the survivors of the previous season even though those numbers were running pretty low at the end. So let's jump in and see if the wait was worth it. If there seems to be description missing that is due to trying to keep this as spoiler free as possible. Read More...

Review Of The Harvest By South African Indie Developers Luma Arcade Are you busy and looking for a game to play that doesn't require all your attention? Is solitaire not intensive enough to fill that free time? Do you not have a mouse readily available to play most games and are left with only one free hand and a trackpad?
