by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2024 - 08:00 PM ]
darkwebSTREAMER A look at a new title, darkwebSTREAMER, is here to give us a different 90s horror story as we become a darkwebSTREAMER The dark trope of the horrors of the internet are shining back through with a new title on the way in the form of darkwebSTREAMER. A new PC title that, as the name suggests, puts us onto the "dark web" for the reasons that you can assume, but with a darker twist. That darker twist being that we are doing all of this weird web stuff in the '90s and also in a haunted apartment. All as we try to become an occult streamer during a time when streaming video was the worst. Read More...

Hellboy Web Of Wyrd Is Releasing On The World Very Soon Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of August 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellboy The release date for Hellboy Web Of Wyrd is set with Hellboy coming at us all this coming October now In a fun little shocker out there for us all out of Gamescom 2023, it looks like we finally have a release date for Hellboy Web Of Wyrd. The fun-looking new rogue-lite title from Upstream Arcade has only had a short little stint in the new circuits, but that seems to mean that the team had it mostly ready to go before letting it out there into the world. Now, we only have to wait another month or so, with Hellboy Web Of Wyrd releasing on October 4th on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. About when we all thought it would be landing but also making October a full month when it comes to video game releases. Read More...

Hellboy Web Of Wyrd Takes Us Into A New Butterfly House
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of August 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Hellboy New gameplay for Hellboy Web Of Wyrd is here to show off one more location that Hellboy will be clearing out Slowly but surely, we are going to get a full feel for how Hellboy Web Of Wyrd is going to play out there in terms of gameplay. We have had a whole lot of the voice and look at the art, but it feels as if Upstream Arcade is only slowly releasing actual gameplay to the world as we all wait with bated breath. That or they are truly this deep in development for Hellboy Web Of Wyrd that there just is not much of a solid version of the project to show at this point. There still is not a solid release date for the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, so I am going to err on that side of things and keep the best hopes going for it all. Hellboy Web Of Wyrd Tease Us All With A Little Bit Of Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of July 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellboy Set out into the world of Hellboy Web Of Wyrd and see just how Hellboy is going to handle some of the challenges ahead It has been a little weird here since the announcement for Hellboy Web Of Wyrd, as we were wondering how the game would actually play based on what we saw. There was a whole lot of comic panel style art out there from Upstream Arcade to help promote the game originally, but little as to how we would go through things. Then, there was a short bit from Good Shepherd Entertainment to keep us going that showed that it could be a mix of that and controlling Hellboy through some various 3D world settings. Now, it looks like we have a better answer with some full gameplay for the game as we wait for it to finally hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...

Another of the growing list of titles that were shown off during The Game Awards and this one is coming from Upstream Arcade and Good Shepherd Entertainment when it is all ready to flow out there. I mean, who does not want to add a little more Hellboy on their PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC? by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
PlayStation Now is getting a subscription option added into the online video game streaming service starting next week for the PS4 It looks like PlayStation Now is going to be giving us all what we have wanted since the first time we hopped into the Beta for the game streaming service. Not lower prices per game. No, not the ability to purchase a title for life. I am talking about a… oh … a subscription service to play all of those PS3 titles on your PS4. Read More...

Will PlayStation Now Be Viable For Every Gamer?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
I take a look at the updated PlayStation Now Beta and here is what I think of its current state PlayStation Now was announced at the beginning of this year and was another huge focus at E3 a few weeks ago. It makes perfect sense as the service is slated to go into a "public beta" here in just over a month. That is July 31st for those out there who still had no clue. For those with a clue, then you would now that it is and has been in a closed beta since the first announcement. Read More...

Game Rentals On The PSN And Not Through PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
It appears that there is a rental option on the PSN now and we are not talking about the PlayStation Now service. Back in January we first heard about PlayStation Now and about how we would be able to rent games or have a Netflix style service for our PS3's and PS4's. What we are talking about here is not the PlayStation Now service at all. In fact it was something that was randomly found and reported via twitter. Also it is only for one current title on the PSN. A Few Updates On PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of January 2014 - 05:31 PM ]
PlayStation Now was announced and we got some of the news but after getting to talk to some of the people behind the service we have a few updates. Earlier I wrote about my experiences with Sony's new PlayStation Now service that will be coming to market in the next half a year or so. I had a few reservations as well as a few other questions crop up during my writing. Being semi-responsible I decided to go and get some better clarifications and answers to expand on my experience. Here is what I learned directly from the horse's mouth at CES. Read More...

CES 2014 Hands On: PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of January 2014 - 05:32 PM ]
Sony unveiled PlayStation Now at this year's CES and had a little taste of it on the show floor. Here's what I discovered while giving it a whirl. In case you have missed the announcement, Sony has announced PlayStation Now as a new video game streaming service coming to the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and Bravia TVs in the near future. Think of it along the lines of OnLive or the PC game streaming feature from GameFly but aimed at PlayStation games and at Sony products solely. That is the general gist of things but here's a bit more of a break down for you. Read More...

Nintendo's New HD Console
by Matt Waitt [ Friday, 22nd of April 2011 - 10:12 PM ]
According to some anonymous sources with knowledge of Nintendo's Project Cafe the new HD console will go for anywhere between $350 USD and $400 USD and could be launched as early as this October. Although speculations say it could be released as late as next year to allow more consoles, software and games to be prepared for launch. I say having the console release next year would be a wise decision. Having more units and games for a launch date is a smart choice. Read More...
