by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of August 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week in video games is about done but it will still rage on as Gamescom still flows out there. We have a whole lot more for the event to bring you here and we already had so much to show you. More for the upcoming Spider-Man, a little more for Darksiders III, the same footage for a few other games we had behind closed doors at E3, and much more. More like news on two Cthulhu video games in terms of The Sinking City and Call Of Cthulhu. Read More...

Walk The Path Of Madness While Investigating In Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New gameplay for Call Of Cthulhu is here from Gamescom and this time it highlights more of the investigation gameplay we will experience in Call Of Cthulhu I hope you are ready for some solid investigation action in Call Of Cthulhu, because that is a good portion of the game. This should not be a huge surprise to anyone who has played the tabletop game or seen anything Cyanide Studios has teased for the game so far. It has not been a huge secret. It has not been a huge focus in many of the gameplay videos we have had for Call Of Cthulhu and it looks like Focus Home Interactive has opted to let that door fly even further open by giving us yet another look at it all. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of July 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The first Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta weekend kicks off this week with the other chances to get in on the Call Of Duty beta list too If you pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 already and were wondering when you could get in on your "beta" for the game, that time would be starting this weekend on August 3rd. That is at least if you pre-ordered or planned on playing on the PS4 as Activision's partnership with PlayStation will be holding the first "beta" for the weekend with Xbox One and PC gamers having to wait until August 10th to get in on this "beta". So, mark your calendars so you can try to help Treyarch with making this Call Of Duty multiplayer work better once it launches in October. Read More...

Zombies Are Running Wild In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 With More Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of July 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty More story is here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4's Zombies mode as well as a look at the new collector's edition for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 that is coming The zombies are running free with more here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and we have more of the story to dig into all thanks to SDCC that just wrapped. We have had a bit of the story and look at how Treyarch is modifying the mode for this game, but here we go with a whole lot more to see for it all. It may not be anything in terms of new gameplay for this Call Of Duty, but seeing as it has not changed up much for a while as it is still a first-person shooter, that is not a huge surprise. Halloween May Be All Filled With Call Of Cthulhu After All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu The release date for Call Of Cthulhu has been refined down further as it looks like we could be playing Call Of Cthulhu by Halloween this year After kind of "leaking" before, it looks like we may have a solid release date for Call Of Cthulhu now as it has shown up on the Steam page for the game. While not official word from Focus Home Interactive or Cyanide Studios, it does look to be about on par with what we have been told and figured it would be for a while now. It was just Autumn 2018 before. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 & Spyro Are Making Their Mark On SDCC 2018
by Duke Searles [ Monday, 16th of July 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty Spyro and Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have a presence during SDCC 2018 with another good look at the next Call Of Duty Zombies as well With Comic-Con International right around the corner, this week in fact, it would make sense that started to see some of those gaming companies coming out there with their titles and Activision has done just that as we now know that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be out there in some form of force. It would have felt like a missed opportunity if neither were out there for all those who missed out during E3 and before. Not to mention that this is usually where we have been getting our big Call Of Duty Zombies updates in the past few years. Read More...

Call Of Duty May Be Getting Its Single-Player Back In The Near Future
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A recent job posting for a known Call Of Duty developer points that there may be single-player back in the next Call Of Duty title The next Call Of Duty title has not even fully been revealed or launched yet and we are already looking toward the next possible one. At least the next one coming from Infinity Ward in terms of if we will see single-player make its way back into the franchise. Again, we have yet to see how a Call Of Duty title will go without a solid campaign mode as it looks like Black Ops IIII is going to be the first outing that Activision will be going with here on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Nonetheless, it looks like speculation on the next title having a campaign mode again has started to pop up again. Read More...

E3 2018 Impressions — Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu While at E3 I was able to see Call Of Cthulhu in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Call Of Cthulhu. The madness continues to flow as we are still left waiting for Call Of Cthulhu to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but we did get another great showing of the game while on the floor out at E3. While I know I was hoping to be able to actually play and experience what Cyanide Studios has for the game so far, it was not meant to be as it was not playable on the floor again. Thankfully, though, Focus Home Interactive had us all covered to show off a bit more for Call Of Cthulhu and get us ready for its imminent release of sometime this year. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of May 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It sure has been one exciting week in video games here and there was so much to cover I did not think we would get to it all. Thankfully, we did and nothing much was left on the cutting room floor. From all the new RAGE 2 announcements and gameplay to the first look at the next Call Of Duty things ran rather high all week. We even were able to see more for Agony and see a whole new survival game with Green Hell. Read More...

We have you covered with the live stream of the Call Of Duty event The time is finally here and we are about to get more for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 than just a weird title logo, a new zombies mode, and the rumors of no solid campaign mode for the game. That is at least what we have had so far for the game since Treyarch first let loose the game was actually coming. Not that that was a huge surprise as it is one of the few givens that we can count on for Activision each year now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/7/18 — 5/11/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of May 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Mark one more week of video games down with so many more to go. At least as long as the world keeps spinning and we have developers out there still creating. We could all die in a fire here soon and end up in a realm like Agony has for us after all. That would not be the way we should want to go, if at all, when we have titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, Days Gone, and Jurassic World Evolution to keep us all entertained and having a good time in the land of the living. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies Mode Has Been Teased Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new tease for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4’s zombie mode is out there but this time it comes from the developer behind the next Call Of Duty title We can mark this down under the "not surprising" category, but it looks like Treyarch is out there teasing the next Zombies Mode for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4. We have seen this before but from the official E3 Twitter account and not from someone that Activision is paying for the game, but now it comes directly from the source. It looks like the Call Of Duty tradition is carrying on and will be in the game when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII’s next batch of DLC is here to entice us more into the world this Call Of Duty has built us Last week we had our first taste of the next bit of DLC coming to Call Of Duty: WWII on April 10th. At least for those playing on the PS4 as they get it first. Just reminding you just in case you were expecting it on the Xbox One and PC on the same day. Nonetheless, we had our first taste of the three new maps, new War Mode mission, and the next chapter of Nazi Zombies that Sledgehammer Games has for us. Read More...

Forget What You Know As Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Is Official
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of March 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty It has been officially announced that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is coming and it also looks like it will ‘revolutionize’ the Call Of Duty franchise We all knew it was coming and now we have official word that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is going to be this year's installment into the franchise. Given that Treyarch gave us the last one three years ago and that is how Activision seems to cycle the developers on the franchise, it makes perfect sense that we are heading back into the Black Ops world. The interesting part of this announcement though is the fact that we will be getting this year's Call Of Duty title a bit earlier than normal as it is already locked in for an October 12th release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
