There is a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order that shows off the different play styles available in the game. When I hear Wolfenstein I don't always think of stealth and I think more of the madness of shooting up Nazis. With the latest trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order it looks like we are going to be getting that little extra style as a full option. I know that "stealth" is always an option as you can always snipe and set up kills to make it easier but that is just strategy and not a full selling point in general. There is a new gameplay trailer for Destiny that shows a strike against the Fallen in the Devil's Lair. Here we go with some new Destiny footage straight off the PS4. In this case we get to follow three characters of different classes as they attempt to make a strike at the Devil's Lair. From the looks of the area it looks to be more inhabited by the Fallen and fewer demons or devils but Destiny is a sci-fi title and not a religious or fantasy title. Not that that should make much of a difference but I felt it worth noting for some reason. An exclusive trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shows off one of the best villains in the Spider-Man universe; Carnage. Earlier this month we got a trailer showcasing the villains that will be in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. During said trailer there was a possible glimpse of Carnage which was something of great speculation. It all made sense based on the short scene and how this game is supposed to stay semi-close to the cinematic universe that has been re-cultivated. Activision has announced Skylanders Trap Team which will allow you to collect the various villains as well as heroes. If there is one franchise that I know is a cash cow it is the Skylanders franchise from Activision and Toys For Bob. That cash cow is going to get a whole lot larger with the addition of Skylanders Trap Team this October 5th as we will get a slew of new heroes and a way to collect and play various villains. Bungie has updated the official site for Destiny with some new information and video of three of the game's classes. For all of you out there pining for some more news or updates on Destiny from Bungie and Activision, it looks like we are getting just that. In this instance it is in the form of three of the character classes that will be in the game when it finally launches. There is a nice brief description for the Hunter, Titan, and Warlock as well as nice little video to go along with said description. Not that there hasn't been a load of gameplay video for Destiny but here is a bit more geared toward those aforementioned classes. Read More...

Just in case you thought we were running light on the gameplay for Wolfenstein: The New Order we have a new trailer showing just that. Ok, well maybe more of the scripted in-game footage for the game but at least it is a bit more on the overall story that Machine Games and Bethesda are trying to tell. When it comes to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 visually what has been shown hasn't been as impressive as with The Amazing Spider-Man. This could be as we have been spoiled over the last few months with next gen graphics and all we seem to be getting are trailers for the last gen systems. It looks like Wolfenstein: The New Order is stepping up into the crazy "collector's edition" arena with the recently announced Panzerhund Edition. The interesting part here though is that it DOES NOT come with a copy of the game. Bold move but let us see what all of you crazy Wolfenstein fans may be getting for your $100 USD if you so choose to get this crazy "collector's edition" for the game. Facebook is set to purchase Oculus for around two billion dollars. What does this exactly mean though? It was announced yesterday that Facebook has reached an agreement to purchase Oculus VR, the makers of the Oculus Rift headset, for about two billion dollars. Not all in cash mind you. Only $400 million of that will be in "cash" the rest of the $1.6 billion in Facebook stock. That is all upfront as well as $300 million more is offered if Oculus VR can hit certain milestones that are still yet to be defined at the writing of this article. Read More...
