Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a slower week in video games but we made it through. Of course I chalk all of this up to it being Friday the 13th week as well as it being filled with a whole lot of game releases. Mafia 3 More gameplay for Mafia 3 has popped up online and along with it comes some good explanation on how Mafia 3 is not an open world clone If what we've seen so far for Mafia 3 wasn't enough to get you interested in picking up the title then I don't know what is wrong with you. I'm sure Hangar 13 would feel about the same way given all of the insane advancements and changes to the franchise that look to make it truly new. Of course you have a lot of people out there stating that Mafia 3 is just another open world clone of games like GTA now but as some new gameplay and impressions would show those people may be just as wrong as the mafia was to kill Clay's crew. Friday The 13th Big updates for Friday The 13th: The Game have been released and they include a new Friday The 13th writer signing on as well as new in-game elements It was safe to assume that we were going to get some Friday The 13th: The Game updates today and as it turns out Illfonic did not let us down at all there. In fact there are a whole slew of updates for this awesome multiplayer title that you're going to have to take a small break from the movie marathon to enjoy. TMNT A set of new video clips for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan have been released and each gives us a look at the different TMNT fighting styles and personalities we're getting By now it should be safe to assume that most people know who the characters are for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan. In terms of the main character we are going to get to control in the game. Sure Platinum Games may have tweaked a few things to make it fit into the game's world and also for gameplay reasons but it should be safe to assume. Mafia 3 A new trailer for Mafia 3 has been released and this one focuses more on the driving mechanics of Mafia 3 which the developer claim as more Hollywood Stunt Driver than anything If you were hoping that Mafia 3 was going to be deviating from its franchise's grounded history in driving then you might be a bit upset. For those like me then you may glad to see that Hangar 13 is deviating from the norm a little bit to give us a better cinematic feel when driving around New Bordeaux. The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: Michonne — What We Deserve. This is the final episode of Telltale's take on one of The Walking Dead's fan favorite characters. Here's our review on how they did Here we go as The Walking Dead: Michonne has come to an end and the story arc of one of the fan favorite characters has been fleshed out even more. Telltale Games set out to tell us a great story and fill in a rather sizable gap in the character's story from the comic books. Mighty No. 9 The official release date for Mighty No. 9 has been locked in as Mighty No. 9 has officially gone gold and ready for distribution After so many delays it looks like Mighty No. 9 is just over a month out from release now. That's right, there are no more delays and even though it is not Spring anymore it looks like comcept is ready to bring the game to us on June 21st now. King's Quest The third episode of King’s Quest is now out and we have the latest trailer to show you all of the madness that we will get into in this episode of King's Quest We all knew before now that the latest episode of King's Quest was going to be on the romantic comedy side of things. This of course was all based on the early screenshots that The Odd Gentlemen put out there with a basic description. Now we have a nice new trailer for the new episode of King's Quest and we can see just how far on that side of things the team has taken the famed Sierra title. The Walking Dead As The Walking Dead: Michonne wraps up it looks like new tidbits of The Walking Dead's third season are coming out and we may be seeing more of the comic in the game As The Walking Dead: Michonne has just come to a close and we settle in to either play it all or take in everything that happened it looks like those kinds of plans are nowhere on Telltale Games' mind. We all know that we are getting a third season to the game that kicked it all off but now we are getting a few more things to chew on for it. Borderlands It was assumed that a new Borderlands was on its way but it has been confirmed that a new Borderlands is on the plate after Battleborn releases I was pretty certain that a new Borderlands was all but confirmed already as it has been such a well-received franchise but now we have a 100% confirmation that one is coming. At least it will be coming sometime after Gearbox has completed Battleborn and all of the DLC they have in the works for the title. But now all of you Borderlands fans can rest assured that we have another one coming at some point due to a nice little talk that happened at PAX East where the news and confirmation was put out there.
