While At E3 I Got To See Evolve In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It I have heard so much about Evolve from every other even that I have had to miss out on. Hearing that I would be able to play it at E3 got me excited as all of the trailers and gameplay footage up until now has had me extremely interested. So I made the trek over to the 2K booth and settled in to see how the game plays and if Evolve can live up to the hype that I have seen flung around for it. Here's My Take On It Destiny was a huge push during last year's E3 and every other gaming event that took place up until now. Of course that meant that Activision and Bungie again had to come out strong with something to show for the game as we are only months out from the release and there are only so many more gaming conventions to show off at. Here's My Take On It If there was an award for longest demo at E3 The Phantom Pain would win the gold but Dragon Age: Inquisition is a strong silver medal. A solid 35 minute of the game was shown off in a nice air conditioned booth and it showed everything to how massive the world of the game is going to be, to how your choices will impact more than just the narrative been the physical world as well. There was a nice long showing of the game in a demo driven by one of the developers at Creative Assembly but then shortly after there was a bit of a challenge map that let us all experience the horror of Alien Isolation first hand. Here's My Take On It Mortal Kombat X was teased and rumored long enough before E3 that it was no real big surprise to see it play out on the big screens during the press conferences. By no means am I saying it wasn't a treat to see but there was no real shock and awe moment as the game was fully announced. But that is really all that happened on the big screen leaving much to be desired beyond the long lines of fans waiting to see what Ed Boon had in store for us; not to mention the two new characters promised to be shown off during the event. Here's My Take On It If there was one title I was looking forward to seeing more of at E3 it was Batman: Arkham Knight. Here's My Take On It If there was one game at E3 that made an impression before I even got to play it, it was Battlefield: Hardline. Unlike most games on the show floor where there is just a themed room/area for a game; there was a whole experience for Hardline at the EA booth. All who were playing had to be "processed" and moved along into a semi-interactive experience. While At E3 I Got To See Battlecry In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Announced just before E3 we have Battlecry from Bethesda and BattleCry Studios. This is the new title that is a 32 player multiplayer hack 'n' slash title where players take on the role of one of five classes from one of three different factions in the game. Up until now we only had a nice CGI trailer for the game and a few screen shots that showed off the cell shaded looking world of visceral combat. Here's My Take On It Ah Dead Island 2, now here is a title I can completely get behind and that was based just on the trailer that announced that the game was coming. Who doesn't like a little zombie killing action in a non-depressing yet not-over-the-top comedic way? More or less the balance between The Walking Dead and Dead Rising in terms of tone and mood. I knew it was coming sooner or later but when Media Molecule made it well noted they were not going to be showing anything at E3 I passed the hope for another LittleBigPlanet off. Then of course Sony had to go and change developers to Sumo Digital and that completely kept things under the radar.
