This past Thursday saw the release of a brand new costume pack for Hot Shots Golf 5 (Minna No Golf 5 in Japan).  For 600 Yen (approx. $6 U.S.), you can have 5 new sets for your existing characters. They include a ninja costume that resembles Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden and DOA fame, two Street Fighter knockoffs resembling Chun Li & Ryu, and finally a Sailor Boy and Baseball Player  costumes.  Each costume has 2 different color schemes to them.  This is the 2nd pack released of costumes in Japan, and I would expect both to be released in the states by the end of the year. Kratos Is Back: God of War 3 To Be Shown At E3 Ok, so the title may be a little misleading, but that was lifted straight from the english source for this tid bit. It was originally posted on a French site, before you ask. But I guess, Sony either let slip or something at the Interactive & Digital Entertainment Festival that GoW III (that's God of War not Gears of War) will be at this years E3. Scheduled PLAYSTATION®Network Maintenance Disclaimer: This is speculation from myself and a few others. Consider it a rumor. I hate Spam. Now that that has been said. On the Official Playstation Support page, there was an announcement of the PSN (PlayStation Network) being shut down for maintenance. Not to out of the ordinary, except for the fact that some of the updates people have been waiting and pining for is suppose to be out soon. Thanks to a Kotaku story, I found out Marvelous has finally announced and revealed the actual figure to be included in the Ikkitousen EF Limited Edition set for the Sony PSP.  As noted prior, it features the mother-daughter team of Hakafu and Goei.  The figure set is actually a pun referring to "Oyako donburi", which means "parent and child donburi" which is a dish made of Rice, Egg and Chicken.  But as interesting as that is, we all know everyone is more interested in the figure itself.  So here is some images of said figure:       Now we know the OBVIOUS joke of "2 Girls 1 cup" here, but it has already been used a few times over on other sites, so we will leave it be. As the title states, Marvelous has released new screenshots and a nice trailer to go along with them of the upcoming PSP game Ikkitousen: EF. Late last week Dengeki announced that the Official Site for the To LOVE[Ru] games was revealed. This Fall, October 2nd 2008 to be exact, anime and manga fans of Ikki Tousen (Battle Vixens in the U.S.) can beat-'em-up on the go.  Ikki Tousen: Eloquent Fist, or EF, for short will make it's debut on the Sony PSP as a side scrolling 2D Action/Beat-'Em-Up game.  The anime best known as fan service due to it's featuring of girls battling out in dresses and short skirts, as well as featuring many ecchi moments such as clothing being literally ripped to shreds and gratuitous panty shots. The game will feature animation sequences reproduced from the CD and look very well done on the PSP's small screen.  And yes, just like in the anime and manga series, the game features a Costume Destruction System, so as more damage is taken, the less clothes the character will have. Metal Gear Mania The Metal Gear Craze Is Going On Konami seems to be revving up the hype for this game much like Rock star did for the latest GTA. Trailers and ads galore. Some of which kind of cool. This first little set of videos is a bunch of ads. Everything from, what I assume is, an energy drink ad all the way to a trailer complete with the guy who has been smoking way too many cigarettes doing a voice over. That would be the first one. Siren: New Translation Is Pretty, Horrifying The writers for Kotaku have scrounged up some more images for the new Siren game. A demo of the game was released last week on the Japanese PSN Store. They got it and got some great images of the game and placed them up for all to see. From what I saw and they said, it looks like a killer game.
