There comes a time when you realize there are certain products are just not for your demographic anymore. Maybe it was when you were hitting puberty and realized that while you may still like Saturday morning cartoons, the commercials annoyed you rather than interested. Or perhaps you tried to watch The Tonight Show before Jay Leno was replaced and realized every joke was for the geriatric crowd. Reading today's press release from Activision really demonstrated to me that while I may enjoy rhythm games, Band Hero is not being marketed to me. More Peripherals!!!!  Yay!  I know that is what you're thinking as today Activision announced their fall releases of "Hero" franchises. Attempting to break into the hip-hop and R&B markets, they will be releasing DJ Hero, coming to you with special turntable peripheral.  No longer content with sticking to plastic instruments, they are moving into plastic electronics.  Couch Potato Hero will of course have plastic TV and remote as you sit on your couch playing a person sitting on a couch.  All kidding aside I really hope to see this at E3 in a few weeks and take it for a spin*.
