A Tale Of Greek Tragedy? The Good: One thing that I really loved about this game was the story telling of the game. First that it was very Greek and somewhat very close to something one would read in their Ancient Histories class. Second, the fact that you could choose your own adventure as you go a long, with choices based on one of the four patron gods of the game. And these choices are more than what other games allow for. Like if you chose to be a dick or a good follower of Ares, it gave a totally different outcome. Read More...

Get A Spore™ Sculpture Created Ever created something in Spore™ and said, "Well I'd love to have a physical version of that." Be it a real pet or maybe for the realist, a small statue of it. Don't lie to yourself. You know you have ever since World of Warcraft™ characters were able to be created through cosplay or sculpture. Read More...

Episodes 1-4 So I want to preface this review with a little something. I am a casual Strong Bad fan. By that I mean that I watch the flash videos every now and then and am not so entrenched into the whole Strong Bad world or Strongbaddia world if you will. I thought this important so the hard core fans don’t say I am leaning one way or the other. With that said, here we go. For the most part this game plays through, via “episodes,” much like the clips of flash video. Read More...

Resident Evil 5: Viral So normally I don't get anything but press releases in my inbox from game companies. One in particular Capcom. But today I got a very odd email I almost threw away as junk until I looked into it. I'll paste it below for you. from: Capcom Entertainment [pr@capcom.com] to: Hades [DavidB@pwned.com] date: Mon, Dec 8, 2008 at 2:16 PM subject: It came from Kijuju It came from Kijuju. It came from Kijuju. Read More...

PlayStation fiends finally get a second life One of the big rumors and let downs, so far, for Sony has been their new "Social Network" program, Home. It has had so many rumors about when the mass populace will be able to get their hands on it, it has made a lot of people stop caring about it. To top that off, Sony's very limited "Beta" for the program has also left a lot feeling left out. Don't worry you people, there isn't much that you are missing. Just having the early download. Exclusive Saw The Video Game Update So over a month ago, I reported on a game adaptation of the Film Saw. I was really excited, but reports are coming in that it was just given the cut, pardon the pun, much like 20 people from Brash Entertainment. A very sad thing, for both those 20 and the gaming community. Hey, it is always bad when a game that could be awesome gets cut. At least I thought it would be awesome. Read More...

"SACK IT TO ME"...Weekly Answers to the LBP Community's Questions As has been the buzz around the net and the PS Forum boards, moderation on user created levels has been out of control on the LBP servers. Like crazy to the point where some levels that have no offensive materials or copy written materials have been removed. With no explanation as well. To me this is really hampering one of the best features of this game. Read More...

True Games & Petroglyph Announce Mytheon - An Innovative New Online Action Strategy Game Like mythology? Like real-time strategies? Like online games? Well looks like the great minds at Petroglyph and True Games will be hooking you up with all three, while trying out the micro-transaction pricing plan set up to boot. The Worlds Collide This game has been a huge one on a lot of people's radars since it was first announced. It has been looked to as a way to reinvigorate the franchise into what it once was. Trying to help fans forget the films and lack luster games that have been placed out there on the market. Here's what I have to say. The Premise: At the end of a great battle against Darkseid and Shao Kahn, each in their own universes, something goes awry and begins the merging of the two universes. Through confusion or just trying to find answers to end this universe ending event, both sides fight through to find a way to end it. Read More...

Spice up your inbox with colors and themes While trolling around the interwebs I stumbled across a nice little tidbit from Guild actress Felicia Day. GMail Themes! So I had to go see if I was one of these lucky few and low and behold there it was on one of my accounts. So not completely gaming news, but it is kind of cool geek news. But it looks like a select "few" people have been selected to take a gander at GMail's new Themes for their Beta of the service. No real details on when it will be wide release, but there are some really cool themes selected. Read More...

BioShock PS3 DLC Surfaces Tomorrow So tomorrow, November 20th, those of us that have picked up the PS3 version of BioShock are getting a nice little treat. Exclusive added content for the game on the PSN. The add on is listed below. But there is one thing I find a little off, at least for me, the price point for PS3 users to get this new content. While PS3 BioShock owners will get access to the stuff that was given away to PC and XBox players, these 3 new challenge rooms come for a $10 fee. Might not sound too high, but it is only three new little sections for the game. Read More...

LocoRoco 2 In Flash If you have a PSP and have not tried the first one, I totally recommend it. It is addictive and so fun that you find yourself twisting your body to try and make some of the jumps and turns in the game. But this isn't why I bring this up. So what am I blathering about? Well it looks like you will be getting an early look at the new version of the game. Well somewhat. It is a flash demo of some of the things that you can look forward to when the game finally comes out or they release the PSP demo of the game. Read More...

Mirror's Edge 2D Beta I was a little shocked at how fast this was done given the fact that the full version of the game just came out a few days ago. But it looks like there is a full on Flash version of the game being done. Well maybe not a full on version, but a 2D flash version of the idea and concept behind Mirror's Edge. Currently it is only one level long, but it is very well done for being a 2D flash based game. The controls, like the actual game, take a little bit to get use to, but can make for some interesting results once mastered a bit. Read More...

First 11 Minutes Of Resident Evil: Degeneration So I am a sucker for seeing things to get myself pumped up for new films or games. Even if they spoil parts of the film. It's just me. But below, IGN has released the first 11 minutes of the new CGI film for Resident Evil. The first one is just general back story and set up for the film, and the second clip is segregated for a good reason. It requires age verification to see. For good reason, at least to cover their asses. Read More...

Videos For Zelda Fans For some reason I have been having a few issues finding anything decent to write about as of late for you guys. But don't fret, not that you would, I have a couple of videos that I stumbled on that you might find of interest. This first on is a scene from Resident Evil 4 where instead of Leon, there is a Link skin instead. Still not sure how it happened or if it is just someone's really good video editing skills to do this, but it is completely amazing. This next one is kind of of interest and a little bit of news.
