A new edition for World War Z is coming to all of the platforms and with it bringing all of the World War Z goodies we have had so far A new version of World War Z is on its way on May 5th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A Game of the Year edition of the game is now coming from Saber Interactive for all of those out there that may have missed out when the game first launched and did not want to pick up all the DLC along the way. Although, this new edition is bringing with it some more updates for World War Z too and a new "episode" to play through in the ever-growing story. I will assume it will be heading to the base version of the game for those that have been experiencing it all as it comes out already, but it is not explicitly stated here. Read More...

A new video for Marvel’s Avengers is out there to give us a little more into how we will be playing Marvel’s Avengers in September It has been a bit of time since we had something solid for Marvel’s Avengers and it looks like we are still going to have to wait for that. At least a little bit, as we do have a new small video from Crystal Dynamics to look at here but it is more of the same we have had already. It seems a bit odd given that we are still going to have to wait until September 4th to play the full version of Marvel’s Avengers on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Thankfully, we have a new little bit to take in as we get another overview for the game and how we are going to be playing it. Read More...

A new XCOM game is announced with XCOM: Chimera Squad for the PC that is going to be launching before the end of the month Here we go with another entry into the XCOM series with the next big title from Firaxis Games and 2K Games. It has been a bit of a time since we have had one and now we have one to look for on the PC this April 24th. Maybe it will make it over to the consoles at some point, but for now it is as it is. Nonetheless, we have the announcement of XCOM: Chimera Squad from them all and bringing back the turn-based strategy game just in time for us to break some sanity. Read More...

We now have the full reveal for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope and it looks like things are going further into the past in the town of Little Hope The full reveal for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is finally here after the little tease we all had a while back for the next chapter to it all. We, sadly, do not have a release date or finer window from Supermassive Games as of yet besides Summer of this year but we do have a little more to know. On top of the original announcement that we would be following along with a group of students rolling out to the town of Little Hope and going through some hell. Read More...

This is more than just a few new quests and creatures, as we have Human NPCs and main story quests to experience in the mix too. Read More...

Delays have hit Someday You’ll Return and now we are going to have to wait a few more weeks to discover the darkness of Someday You’ll Return Time to place one more video game on the list of delayed games as it looks like Someday You’ll Return has been pushed out a few weeks now and will no longer be having a PC release on April 14th here. I know I was looking forward to seeing this interesting twist to the style of game that CBE Software was aiming for, but it is how it is because of the pandemic right now. The limitations of being able to be in-person for some of the audio recordings have made it difficult and thus is why Someday You’ll Return will now be out on May 5th. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week All the video games had a nice big announcement this week did they not? Well, at least some of the big ones out there did as I am certain not many wanted to rival the big release for Final Fantasy VII Remake or ride the coattails of Resident Evil 3 there. That does not change the fact that we had a whole lot of news out there for all kinds of video games like Daymare and Hellpoint to name a few more. Obviously, there was a lot more to dig into there, but we will let you do that at your own speed for now. Read More...

A new adventure title, MicroMan, has been announced with MicroMan giving us another feeling for how it would feel to be shrunk down Things are getting small again with the announcement of MicroMan coming to the PC with a launch on the Switch, Xbox Series X, and PS5 to follow sometime after its initial launch in 2021. Yes, you read all of that right as we have another next-gen title coming out and this one is from Glob Games Studio. All centered around something we have just recently seen; being made small in a large game world. Read More...

New gameplay for The Last Campfire is here to show off just how things are going to flow throughout The Last Campfire world The big gameplay drop for The Last Campfire has happened and we now have about five minutes of footage to take in and enjoy. All of which came out when Hello Games showed it off on the Xbox One during the big event held for the system. That is not to say that The Last Campfire is no longer coming to the PS4, Switch, and PC still as it still is but it is worth noting so you know what platform you are seeing the footage from. It matters to a whole lot of you out there and now you can sit pretty knowing where it is all coming from. Read More...

We have a new look at Grounded with a bit more on the story and then a nice big batch of new gameplay for Grounded to take in Get ready to relive a bit of some fun nostalgia, of sorts, as Grounded is heading to the Xbox Game Preview on July 28th for the Xbox One. It will also be heading over to the PC via a Steam Early Access on the same date so Obsidian Entertainment shows off just what is going on with the game at this point. All so we can get a fun version of Honey I Shrunk The Kids on as we try to survive in the game portion of Grounded here. Do not read that as a knock on the game at all as I am excited about it all and all of this new footage, we have here just added to all of that excitement now. Read More...

Things are getting retro for Streets Of Rage 4 as a few throwbacks for the original few Streets Of Rage titles are getting mixed right into it all It is a Thursday as I write this, which means it is time to throw things back to the past and Streets Of Rage 4 is doing just that with its latest announcement. That is, it looks like Dotemu and Lizardcube have announced that we are going to get a few retro styles mixed in for the characters as the playable roster now reaches 17 in there. With the latest character designs hailing from Streets Of Rage 1 and 2. Read More...

Cannibal Holocaust is getting a video game sequel as we have the reveal of the upcoming horror adventure Cannibal this November Talk about a long wait as it looks like a massively criticized film from the 80s, Cannibal Holocaust is getting a sequel of sort and in video game form. Given that the film was also part of a saga that was being told, I guess it really is not a sequel, but it is a continuation of the series with Fantastico Studio bringing us this horror adventure. How it will all be expanding is still yet to see, but here we go with the announcement of Cannibal for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC slated for a November release. As long as it all go as planned. Read More...

The release date for Hellpoint has now been pushed due to the pandemic with Hellpoint no longer hitting us all this April If you were looking forward to the new Sci-Fi horror game Hellpoint to drop on us on April 16th, you are going to be letdown now as it will no longer be making that release date. Sadly, it looks like Cradle Games and tinyBuild have been forced to push it out a bit longer due to the COVID-19 pandemic that we are still deep into. There is no word on when Hellpoint will actually hit the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Read More...
