A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is not fully over for most of the community out there, but we have to call it a short week here. It was a slow week, for the most part, and we had a few video games get the highlight but it did feel like slim pickings up until today with the Resident Evil showcase here. There was a bit more for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Returnal, but there have been more rumors and speculations out there more than anything. Granted, we are calling it early and we could see many video games drop out there late today and tomorrow, but I have a feeling it is going to be quiet for the rest of the week. Read More...

The Resident Evil showcase is about to air and you can join us in watching to see what new footage we will have for Resident Evil Village The time is almost here for the Resident Evil showcase that we had teased last week and a few little bits from Capcom already, but in a short time from this posting we will have it all. All to help build some hype before May 7th and the release of Resident Evil Village but it sounds like there could be a few other things in the mix too. My guess is that there will be some things for the coming shows and film in addition to the hype of the upcoming bigger title. Read More...

The House Of The Dead: Remake is coming for the Switch and we have a little bit to show how its upgraded from the original House Of The Dead Here we go with another interesting twist of an announcement as The House Of The Dead: Remake is going to be a thing and it will be something that will be hitting the Switch when it does come out there. It seems a little odd to focus the effort on that platform for a title that can easily hit many different ones and maybe even a VR setting, but it is what we have from Megapixel Studio on this remake so far. I have a feeling with how House Of The Dead was before that Forever Entertainment might be looking to branch out, but this is the announcement we have for now out of the big showcase that Nintendo had recently. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is now heading to the Switch too as we get more Ninja Turtles fighting action and gameplay to enjoy It may feel odd that we had to wait, but we now have some gameplay for the coming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. This would be the new title that Tribute Games is aiming to bring us to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and now the Switch. The gameplay was shown during the recent showcase for the platform and gives us all the feeling of how that classic arcade Ninja Turtles title played out so long ago. Read More...

Returnal will have a whole lot of creative hostiles in the world when Returnal launches here soon There have been a few of the enemies shown over the last few videos for Returnal but none of them have truly felt like a big enemy that will halt us in our paths. Most of them have felt like the smaller minions of annoyances that will slow us down as we explore the world and story Housemarque has for us. With April 30th coming fast and our PS5s hungry for some new exclusive titles, it would be great to see that Returnal will house something much darker and horrifying for us to take on along the way. Hence why we are back with more to share for the game in the way of some of the bigger hostile threats we will see stalking us in the world. Read More...

A new character showcase for the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is here to give us all the characters back for Ninja Gaiden here Here we go with a full look at the characters coming to us all in the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection in all of the titles that will be bundled up here. It should not be a huge surprise that Team Ninja has been getting them all ready for us and Koei Techmo needs us to know it all. It is a bit odd once you break it all down here, though, as it does look like the only traditional Ninja Gaiden character Hayabusa is the one I remember here. That does not mean that we will have a fuller cast of characters here to enjoy on June 10th when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Read More...

New details are here for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade that show off some new features coming for Final Fantasy VII Remake The wait still continues here for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade with June 10th still a bit of a way off. That just means that we still have time to get a few more teases and explanations out there from Square Enix as to what to expect and get hyped for here. All with the first little bit that this new episode for Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to be called Episode INTERmission, which offers up all of its own new things to assume here for it all. Almost as if this could just be a smaller bit as we wait for the next massive game expansion and "episode" to release out there. Read More...

A new comparison video for the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is here to show how far we have come from the original Mass Effect It should come as no surprise that the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is going to look, visually, superior to the original version of it all. That is kind of the whole reason that we are getting this new version of the game from BioWare so we can experience the way our brains remember it all and not the way it actually was. Yes, this is a slam to not only Mass Effect but all of those games from years ago we remember were "groundbreaking" in the visual department and not just the gameplay ones. All of which is something I can already feel my future self thinking as we all look back at how our current titles look. Read More...

A new announcement is here for Gord with Gord bringing us a new City-Builder & Adventure set in a very dark fantasy world It does feel like we have been getting a whole lot of new titles out there using the massive Slavic folklore out there, and now we can add the announcement of Gord to the growing list of those titles. A title that is coming from Covenant and heading to the PC in 2022, but it is another title to add to the list to keep an eye on. More so, when you take in the fact that Gord will be giving us a massive dark fantasy world with the gameplay of a city-builder, strategy, and adventure genres mixed together. Read More...

The announcement for WWE 2K22 is here to give all of those WWE one more glimmer of hope to the IP that has had a rough go lately After seeing last year's entry to the IP cancelled, we now have the official teaser for WWE 2K22 and that the game is coming. Okay, the whole of the IP was not cancelled last year by 2K but that game we did get was not the next in the line of titles that Visual Concepts has put out over the years. Now we have a whole new title to follow the yearly release announced right during one of the WWE's biggest events of the year. That would be WrestleMania for those that clicked in on this by accident. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week is finally over and it was weirdly a little light on the massive news for the video games out there, but there was still a whole lot out there. Mostly in the good news out there with more to look for with Resident Evil Village and Erica to enjoy. We did get to see video games like Deathloop get a delay too. As I said, it was a little all over the place with news but we do have Oddworld: Soulstorm and Destroy All Humans! Read More...

New gameplay for The Day Before is here to give us a further taste on how these dynamic events will unfold when The Day Before launches We have had some fun trying to pick apart things for The Day Before back when it was announced, but now we have some better light shed on all of this with a lot of new gameplay. In fact, we have thirteen-minutes of new gameplay to take in here for the game from Fntastic and MYTONA coming to the PC. It is a post-pandemic MMO that is in the works there and might have a lot of people ready to venture into this fictional style of things after a real-world one, but that will be left to see for when the game launches. Some new gameplay for Diablo II Resurrected is out there from the alpha and it shows off how it has been upgraded from Diablo II original With some of the more recent remasters and upgrades we have seen for some older titles; it can be understood why some gamers out there might be a little worried for Diablo II Resurrected. It is a remaster of one of the more beloved titles that Blizzard has put out there and they have not fully shown they can be the masters at this form of gaming too. That is why I am glad to be able to offer up some new alpha gameplay that we have out there that shows off how this version will be standing out over the original Diablo II in terms of visuals and other basic mechanics.
