A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week has ended here and we have had a whole lot to look at for all of our video games once more. Not only that, but we had a chance to recoup and get back from all of the fun of Comic-Con Special Edition out there. That and the holiday that we had did slow things down on our end, but it was still a whole lot to have here. Video games like Dying Light 2, Aftermath, and Marvel’s Avengers among others had some big updates this week. Read More...

Things shifted up for this year's Comic-Con and here is a bit of a look at the Comic-Con Special Edition There is no denying that the last few years have been a little rough on conventions and events like E3 and Comic-Con International have been hit fairly hard out there. There have been many of the smaller conventions out there that have not been able to survive everything we have been going through since 2020. As many of the avid readers of the site will know, SDCC is one of the bigger ones we like to head out and cover for all of the various gaming needs and other attractions that bring a bit of gaming into our real world. That is why I know myself and the team were pumped to be able to head out to Comic-Con Special Edition last week. Read More...

New gameplay for Dying Light 2 is out here to show us a bit more on how this Dying Light is pushing things forward It was teased and announced earlier in the week, but here we go with the gameplay we have been waiting for in regards to Dying Light 2. Not a small little ordeal, but something along the way of a fifteen-minute bit that has Techland showing off all variations of the gameplay about a third of the way into the game. By all variations, I am talking about the basic combat, parkour, and exploration that Dying Light has had for a while. All with the updates we should expect for the new game here. Read More...

A new VR title, Paranormal Hunter, will have us all donning our headsets to co-op take down spirits when Paranormal Hunter launches We are going to have a whole new way to hunt some paranormal entities out there with the announcement we have for Paranormal Hunter today. This is a new VR title that is heading into Early Access on the PC in the first half of 2022 that EALoGAMES has been working on. On the surface Paranormal Hunter may not sound like much to stand out beyond the VR side, but this one looks to have us all in a co-op bit of fun while rummaging around the houses of the deceased out there. Yes, this is a co-op VR title. Read More...

New psychological survival title, Aftermath, in on its way with Aftermath diving into some fun new territories A new title is announced here with Aftermath taking us along for a psychological survival ride out there in a weird new world. That would be one based on the real one here, so it is definitely a weird one. All with some new elements from One-O-One Games trying to mess with the formula of things and keep us all engrossed in the thriller of it all. With Aftermath seemingly offering us a third-person perspective as we head out and try to find our way to the one thing that still matters to our protagonist. Read More...

Take a deeper diving into the update about to drop for Marvel’s Avengers and see how it will expand all of the fun here for the Avengers The day is finally here and we will see the famed Spider-Man swinging into Marvel’s Avengers to help bring down some more of the baddies out there. Not in a full story addition to the game, as Crystal Dynamics did not want to leave too many out in the lurch, but with a smaller story bit to help explain how the character will work in the game here. Something that looks like it will have PS4 and PS5 gamers feeling like they know how Spider-Man will work already. Read More...

The final update for Dying Light 2 is here with Dying Light 2 going gold and getting us ready for some final gameplay We have had a whole lot of delays pop off out there for Dying Light 2, and thankfully, it looks like we will not be seeing any more of those coming down the pipes. That is due to the fact that Techland has finally placed out the news that the game has gone gold. Dying Light 2 is in its final release mode and the team is shifting over to make sure they can snag all of those smaller bugs and issues that could still be out there. You can now just sit pretty knowing that you will see the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on February 4th next year. Read More...

The early access for Fruit Ninja VR 2 is coming next week for more of the Fruit Ninja fun some of you have been waiting for The game is no longer going to be one for the phones, as Fruit Ninja VR 2 is on the way for our PC and we will have the ability to give it all a go next week. Okay, so maybe this specific version is not on the mobile devices but that does not change the fact that Halfbrick is giving us all the new VR version of the game for Early Access on December 3rd. You can virtually be swinging your swords and dicing up all of the fruit out there while dodging bombs by then, and that is pretty damn cool. Unless you are not a fan of Fruit Ninja in general, then I would ask why you even clicked in here at all. Read More...

A delay has hit Thymesia after getting a solid release date set down for Thymesia back at gamescom this year There is one more title to add to the tally for the delays out there with Thymesia getting pushed out from its original December release date. It looks like OverBoarder and Team17 need more time with the game, but for some solid reasons here. The biggest being that Thymesia is no longer going to be just a PC title, but it will also be heading to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S when it launches in 2022. My guess is that this delay is to make sure that all players out there have the same opportunity at the same time to be able to experience what this action RPG will be placing out there. Read More...
