King Arthur
King Arthur and his crew will be seeing a new full release date for King Arthur: Knight’s Tale
Many out there have had a chance to see what King Arthur: Knight’s Tale has had to offer up since the Early Access kicked off and have been looking forward to a full launch later this month. Sadly, it looks as if NeocoreGames will need a little more time to bring this title to the PC. A few more weeks worth of time to make sure we are all getting the best King Arthur experience. Now we can look forward to the full release of the game on the PC this April 26th. Not a long wait, but something to take in as we hold out for it all.
Interestingly, this little delay for King Arthur: Knight’s Tale seems to be adding in more localization and voice acting elements instead of the generic "polish" that is thrown around. This should help elevate the game much more than what has been there for the first act of the game, certainly. I have yet to play the current state of King Arthur: Knight’s Tale, so it is hard to say how vastly it will be able to update but it is something. This should bring it all to a state that most will want it to be once it exits Early Access and become available for all to purchase and add into their libraries.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale — Beyond The Tale
NeocoreGames announced that the full release date of its upcoming turn-based tactical RPG title, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale has been moved from March 29 to April 26, 2022 on Steam.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is now content complete, but NeocoreGames will be utilizing the additional four weeks to improve voice acting and localization, in addition to finalizing testing, ensuring players experience the best and smoothest launch experience possible.
The game is a unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. Knight’s Tale is a modern retelling of a classic Arthurian mythology story filtered through the dark fantasy tropes, a twist on the traditional tales of chivalry.
Currently available in Steam Early Access, players can experience the entirety of the campaign's first Act. The rest of the campaign and the endgame mode will be added in the final release.
There is still plenty more information to share with players in the run-up to launch, but to learn more about what happens after the campaign credits roll, please watch the Beyond The Tale dev diary below.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at a later date.
