Here we go with a bit of some downer news, as Forspoken will no longer be coming to us all on May 24th. Yes, it looks like we have a new delay and we are going to have to wait a bit longer to get in on the game. Luminous Productions needs to take a few more months and we can now expect to see Forspoken land on the PS5 and PC on October 11th of this year. At least there is that silver lining that it has not been pushed to next year. That and that it has not been canceled in general too.
Unlike many of the delays out there, Forspoken is not being hit with the same polish or other reasons for the delay. The team just does not feel like this new IP is to the point they want it at and needs to take time to make sure it is as perfect as possible. There is no knocking that at all, but it is a little bit of a downer as we have to wait a bit more for the game. It is something that I am always okay with to make sure I get the best version of Forspoken out of the gate. Those that are not can head off and start whining about it all now.

Have you been holding out for the launch of Forspoken or did it fall off your radar before now? Why do you think that the delay has been placed down now and could it be something different than what we have been fed now? Do you think that this will be the next big IP to come out for them all or will it be a one-and-done title for them to move on to something else after? Give us all of that feedback down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. As more for Forspoken rolls out there, we will share it all here for you. Just keep checking back for all of that and more.
