The Kandarian Demons Are Out There In Force In Evil Dead: The Game

Evil Dead

New footage for Evil Dead: The Game is here to show us how we will control the demons from the Evil Dead IP

That new gameplay we were promised for Evil Dead: The Game is here and it is all about the demons we will get to experience in the game. Not just in the style of how we will be taking them down with our three other friends out there, but also in how they will be able to interact and antagonize the mortals out there. Saber Interactive does look like they are going all-in with all of those demons and other beings we should know well from all of the Evil Dead lore. We are not talking just the traditional ones, but also some of the deeper cuts from the films and show over all of the years here.

Just as we have been told for Evil Dead: The Game from the start, one of the players in the match will be able to play as the Kandarian demon out in the world. It looks like there will be multiples for us to select from and it will bring its own specific deadites too. A few of them are Eligos, Henrietta, and Evil Ash in the mix. All so they can hunt down, collect dark energies, and possess various parts of the environment too. Yes, it looks like we will be able to recreate that Evil Dead Tree scene if we so wish as we try to stop all of the heroes out there trying to save humanity. It looks as if that is going to be one Hells of a fight.

The interesting part of it all here for Evil Dead: The Game is that we will be able to also possess the other characters in the game too. That includes our deadites and boss deadites when not in the physical form of the demon. It also includes the players just as we have seen in the rest of the IP. There is not much of an explanation on how that will function here, but it will be interesting to see if it will be more than just infiltrating the other team for a bit. Maybe we will be able to do this and kill the character in the mix while messing with the other players. That would be an interesting thing to see as that play spectates and can do nothing about it.

Evil Dead: The Game — Kandarian Demon Gameplay

With terrifying possession powers and an army of darkness at its command, the Kandarian Demon is to be feared. Hunt down survivors yourself, take over their bodies, set demonic traps, or command ravenous Deadites to do the dirty work for you.

Take control of your Deadite minions, environmental objects (including those infamous trees!), and even the survivors themselves to frighten and vanquish any mortal who stands in your way. Choose the physical form of the Kandarian Demon that fits your playstyle, each with different enemy types and bosses including Henrietta, Eligos, and Evil Ash.

Inspired by the iconic horror, humor and action of the Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead: The Game — Kandarian Demon Gameplay brings the series’ biggest characters together in a pulse-pounding battle with the forces of darkness. Work as a team of four survivors, including Ash Williams, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Scotty, Lord Arthur, and more, to kick Deadite butt and banish the vile Kandarian Demon. Or become the Demon yourself, using your powers of possession to stop the good guys dead and swallow their souls! Battle with more than 25 hard-hitting weapons and a variety of skill trees in multiplayer and bonus single-player missions to survive the night.
