The story of God Of War: Ragnarök has taken a bit of shaping since the previous God Of War title we have had It is time, once more, to go behind the scenes and see how some of our games are made and shaped out there, with God Of War: Ragnarök being the next on the list. There have been a few bits like this out there from Santa Monica Studio already, but this is a deeper dive into the story with various other aspects yet to come. All so we can have a better appreciation for God Of War and then see the hardships that they had to go through to get this latest one ready for the November 9th launch on the PS4 and PS5. A journey that all started out with some true hardships as far back as 2020, if we all want to try to remember those times… As it has been alluded to thus far for God Of War: Ragnarök, this first part in the ongoing series does focus on the story and how it has been evolving out there. A new physical edition for Psychonauts 2 is out there for the hardcore Psychonauts fans to collect out there There are still some gamers out there that would much rather have their titles in physical form, and now you will be able to have Psychonauts 2 in your physical hands after being out there for so long already. Even if it would have been nice for Double Fine to drop this version of the game when it first launched on the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, we will just have to deal with it for now. Even if it is a bit more to spend for the Psychonauts fans out there that want to have the cases to show off in their gaming spaces instead of in the digital library only. Read More...

More gameplay for Marvel’s Midnight Suns is here along with a deeper dive into what Nico will add to the Midnight Suns roster It is a new week and we have another massive character showcase for another of the team in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. We had Nico introduced before and now Firaxis Games is ready to give us all a little bit more of a taste. Even if it does look like Nico will function a bit differently than was assumed here. It is a good call and keeps the feel of the character in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, but I feel like it could be a bit of a missed opportunity. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to stick a fork in this week as it is done and we had so many video games to talk about this week. Some on the side of titles launching soon as God Of War: Ragnarök and Gotham Knights and others are a still bit of a way off, as the Dead Space Remake is currently. Not to mention a whole lot more for video games like Marvel’s Midnight Suns that will be out before the end of the year and just in time for the gift-giving season. If that is something you plan on taking part in too. Read More...

More footage for the Dead Space Remake is here to show off some other massive updates over the original Dead Space The gameplay keeps flowing out for us all for Dead Space Remake and this time it is even more extended than we had before. Almost four times the amount of gameplay and whole new sections we did not get from Motive Studios in the last update. All of which is fine, but this new bit is where it shows off how much further they have advanced since the original Dead Space out there. Not just in the visuals we have seen but in the extra abilities that the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will be able to do as of today. Read More...

To get us ready for A Plague Tale: Requiem to launch, we have a new take on the A Plague Tale main theme With the launch of A Plague Tale: Requiem, we need to get ready to have a flood of things to come at us to help promote the game. We might get some new gameplay to see for the game, but it looks like Asobo Studio is keeping things a little under wraps for now so we are better surprised on October 18th. That is why we have a new listen to the main theme for A Plague Tale: Requiem to get us all ready for that launch and to hear it playing multiple times over on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Unless it is only played during the opening and title screen of the game. Read More...

The main theme for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is here along with some of the victims we will play in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre We have more of the sights, and specifically sounds, coming at us all for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre today. A new track for the game has dropped out there and it is one of the more important ones, given that this is the main theme that Sumo Nottingham and Gun Interactive will have for us in the game. Not that we will be going into The Texas Chain Saw Massacre trying to listen for the music with the looming threat of chain saws everywhere, but it is something we will hear while the matches are getting ready to kick off. Among other music that is always in these games. Read More...

The PS5 version of God Of War: Ragnarök will have a few more options to get us further into the God Of War setting For those that have a PS5, it should come as no surprise that this is going to be the system that will show off God Of War: Ragnarök in the best way. I am sure that the PS4 version will still be excellent, but Santa Monica Studio is given much more to work with on the new system and you can see that up to now already. Both in the trailers and gameplay we have had for Ragnarök and the full update they put out there for God Of War in the past. Now, though, we can see a bit more out there to see how this version will take us even deeper into the game when it drops on November 9th. Read More...

It is time to breakdown the gameplay for The Chant so we can be fully ready to experience the horrors that The Chant will hold It feels like the more we get for The Chant, the more it feels like the game is becoming something I did not expect it to be. Maybe because that is due to the fact that Brass Token offered up a look at the story of the game before the actual gameplay. At least, before now, as we have a whole lot more to see and get us ready for the November 3rd release of The Chant on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. All of which shapes the game in a whole new light in a way that feels closer to what I am sure we have all been excited to get. Read More...

Choo-Choo Charles has a release date set down with Choo-Choo Charles coming for us before the end of the year The game that caught the eyes of so many before, Choo-Choo Charles, looks like it is going to be catch us all even more as we have a release date. It felt like it was going to take a while for this one to come out with how recent Two Star Games dropped it out there for us, but the PC will soon have more frights for us. Even if it does miss the Halloween time for us all, we can look for Choo-Choo Charles to drop on us on December 9th of this year. Not too shabby and I know I am ready to let this horror live rent-free in my head during that time of the year. Read More...
