The Secret World Welcomes You With In-Game Footage

Up until now there has been little shown on what is going on with Funcom's new MMO The Secret World. At least in the form of actual game play or what the game will actually look like. Yes there have been some great fully rendered videos that made the game look amazing, but that is not how the game will look when all is said and done. When it comes to "Game of the Year" articles, they seem to all come out before the year is over. Is it a rush to be the first, or is it because no games really come out in December? Regardless, we at Aggrogamer decided it was best not to rush so we had time to play those few games that released in December. Everyone deserves a fair shot. We also thought of making just one list of our votes on Game of the Year, but instead settled on everyone coming up with their own lists and to forgo one single title as the Game of the Year. So it only took a little over a year, but Capcom's latest cross over fighting game has finally hit the shores of the rest of the world. Bringing the latest and best that the Capcom franchises have to go up against the anime characters that acclaimed Tatsunoko Productions has to throw at them. In a nice little battle royal on the Nintendo Wii. A nice 28 man, woman, robot, and creature battle royal. Dante's Inferno Needed A Montage

While not the same montage sequence from Team America, it is none the less as awesome. Just in a different way. One was a comical character build up using marionettes. The other, well a action packed showing of how bad ass Dante is, and will be, through out the game. With Dante's showing him off with all the in game graphics and effects we will be getting here in just over a week. This clip is not all that long, but it will give you a cool feel for what actions and attack Dante will have in his arsenal. If you haven't played the demo all that many times that is. Read More…

A Dead Rising Movie... For Real?

Thankfully, it is not being done by Uwe Bole. Un-thankfully, it looks like it will be just a bad Japanese subtitled flick that will have people like me hating subtitles even more. Too much reading when there is so much action going on behind those bogging words. But in any instance, it looks like it is still a go. Here is the trailer for the film, and it looks nothing like I remember from the game at all. iPad Gaming For You... Coming From The UK

Two days ago Apple announce their new tablet that they have been working on. We have seen the keynotes, the videos, the ooh's and the ahhh's, and tons of opinions on the device. TIGA, the trade association representing the UK games industry, has announced the launch of Apple's new iPad, welcoming its potentials for creating further creative opportunities for game developers. First up we have Paul Farley, CEO of Tag Games made this statement, “The Apple iPad is another huge milestone in the move from games being consumed via physical retail to digital platforms. Well with the new Kratos Fury Slurpee being housed in your local Seven Eleven stores in the next week or so. Then you can probably enjoy this Blackberry and Lime flavored frozen delight all the way up until the launch of the game in March. At least that is how it was made to sound from Evan Brody, the Marketing Manager for Slurpee and Big Gulp Brands. A new trailer that is full of all the new character goodness and a bit of the new gameplay options. Including a nice little opening showing off the transition from smashing a car in 2D to smashing the car in the 3D world of Street Fighter. How Far Is Heavy Rain Going To Push You?

Would you cut off the end of one of your fingers to save your own kid? Could you actually do that? Tough to think about in theory isn't it? But in the intro to this new gameplay trailer for Heavy Rain, this is just what is asked of the game character. All in a very Saw type of way. Very cool and very creepy. The Ides Of March Will Ring In God Of War III

Well it was rumored earlier that the End would Begin on March 17th from the release date of the God of War III PS3 bundle in Europe. There were no confirmations about it being the true listed date or not. Well that was until now. That is, Sony just announced the official release date for God of War III as the 16th of March. Go! Virtua Augment On!

You know, with Sony flaunting their wand, Microsoft showcasing Natal, and Nintendo - well, doing what Nintendo does, I should not be as impressed with following video. But I am, and I am more excited about this than any project proclaimed by the previous companies. I see so much more in this than the horrible advertisement videos that Microsoft produces for Natal. This is a demo for some very cool augmented reality technology - watch it, and then tell me that you'd rather play "Microsoft Presents: Avatar Kickball Powered by Natal" more than this.
