by Jesse [ Friday, 3rd of July 2009 - 04:59 PM ]
Yesterday a post on the official Sony blog announced that four different preorder packages would be made available for the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive Ratchet&Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Each of the offerings brings something unique to the table so whether you’re into behind-the-scenes type material, bonus weapons, or adding to your PlayStation Home closet, there’s something for every Ratchet & Clank fan. The packages are as follows: Discovery Package – Explore the Insomniac Moon, a special level that resembles the layout of the Insomniac Games’ offices! Scattered through this museum-like level, you will discover a moon’s worth of extra content that didn’t quite make it into the game. Read More…

The Ultimate Gaming Wishlist
by Jesse [ Friday, 3rd of July 2009 - 02:28 AM ]
I think if you look at the landscape of films that have been adapted from video games, generally it looks a lot like what comic book movies were like when they were first being released. Yes the original Superman and the original Batman movies from the mid-late 1980’s are classics, but look down the line at some of the sequels. Look across the board to movies like The Punisher or Captain America. These were awful movies. Read More…

Rocking It Green With Mayhem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of July 2009 - 04:23 PM ]
Rock Band DLC for 7/7/09 So with great tracks from Sponge Bob, iCarly, and The Naked Brothers rocking out the DLC for Rock Band, it makes me wonder how Harmonix is going to out rock that. Maybe some Hanna Montana. Maybe a little more Earth Wind and Fire. Somehow work in Flo Rida. But then then go and out and make it so my bank account will get sapped again with some awesomeness. They are slapping all those down with the addition of Green Day to the selection of music to download for the game. Not only Green Day, but Manson, Canibal Corpse, and Slayer to punt kick all those earlier mentioned artists in the Game Box. Read More…

Capcom Classics Coming to PSN Starting Tomorrow That's right I said it. Balderdash! There are and will be some more good games for the PSP coming in the not to distant future, like tomorrow and the coming summer months. At least all because of Capcom and the PSN. From the PlayStation Blog directly, Capcom has announced their new line up of their games that they will be bringing. Starcraft II Beta Tech Tree Hey all you Starcraft fans out there! Or, if anything, people out there that want to play the game right now but obviously do not have access to the games Beta build. That being the Tech Tree for the three factions of Starcraft II. Now mind you, these are still early shots and things could change. Read More…

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - Ultimate Character Reveal (Daredevil)
by Jesse [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2009 - 07:11 AM ]
Matt Murdock was born the son of former Heavyweight boxer “Battling Jack” Murdock. Growing up in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, Matt learned from his father the importance of education. His father wanted nothing more than for his son to get ahead in life using his brain rather than his fists. Matt’s nobility was no more evident than on the fateful day where he saved a blind man from being run over by a truck carrying radioactive material. The waste managed to fall from the truck, partly splashing into Matt’s eyes. Though it blinded him, Matt’s other senses were heightened to superhuman levels. Read More…

WoW Turncoats On The Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2009 - 04:33 PM ]
WoW Faction-Change Service in the Works When I first started playing World of Warcraft, I chose the Horde side of things. Big surprise with the Horde having undead huh? But, all of the real world people I knew who played loved the Alliance side of things for some reason. Which left me either having to worry about leveling two toons, forcing them to try Horde, or giving in and being bored with the Alliance. Didn't make it good for my continuation of the game. Things may be changing now. Read More…

Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires Review
by Jesse [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2009 - 03:23 PM ]
It’s been close to a year and a half since Koei released the original Dynasty Warriors 6, which did, well very little to change the Dynasty Warriors formula. Thankfully the creation of the Empires spin-off games have added some much needed depth to the original games. Primarily Empires adds a fairly deep level of strategy as you take on the role of either a Ruler or an Officer. The two sides generally play the same as your overall objective is to capture enemy territories and control all of China. As an Officer though, you’ll have a little less freedom than playing as a Ruler. Read More…

All thing Blizzard! No support for LAN?
by Binh Nguyen [ Monday, 29th of June 2009 - 09:48 PM ]
How did StarCraft become so popular when the game first came out? Well that's simple. It was because Blizzard made it easy for everyone to have LAN parties. Well that is not the case with StarCraft II according to incgamers.com as they interviewed VP of Game Design Rob Pardo of Blizzard. Pardo stated, "We don't have any plans to support LAN." Then flat out said, "we will not support it and only multiplayer available will be on Battle.net. Read More…
