More Support For Evolve In The Way Of Cabot
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
IGN Has Shown Off The New Support For Evolve Named Cabot And He Looks More Supportive Than The Others Last week we had our most recent hunter for Evolve shown off in the wake of the PS4 and Xbox One beta. This week we get another new hunter in the support class named Cabot. He's a rail gun shooting, death ray wielding, orbital cloud calling new addition to the mix who also looks to be way more in the support class than any of the others that have already been announced by 2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios to date. Here's a quick breakdown of what Cabot brings to Evolve and how I came to my thought on him. We all know that the support for Evolve is there to buff and also put the hurt on the monster as you hunt it down. Read More…

The Game Awards Have Been Announced Because We Need Another One…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Geoff Keighley has announced that it is time for The Game Awards show, another awards show just for video games I was thinking the other day "Why don't we have another awards show for video games?" Looks like someone was reading my mind as it looks like we have The Game Awards just announced by Geoff Keighley coming our way to celebrate the video game industry. If the VGX and other award shows of the past weren't proof enough that most gamers out there don't care for an awards show then I don't know what else will. Although to be honest after hearing a bit more on The Game Awards show some doubts could be put aside as it doesn't sound like one network's way to grab some quick cash using our beloved subculture. This Week In Video Games 11/3/14 — 11/7/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 8th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with another huge week for video games. We had Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare get released and another huge kick off to Blizzcon in the form of Overwatch getting an announcement. This was also just the start of the huge AAA title rush at that and we have so much more to look forward in the world of video games. Most of which should be hitting all of our systems in the next week or so. At least that is the major push for things currently as that is what most of the news, videos, and images are all about. Blizzard Just Announced Their First New IP In A While: Overwatch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Fresh out of Blizzcon 2014 Blizzard has announced Overwatch their first fully new IP in 17 years It has been about 17 years since Blizzard has moved away from any title that wasn't Diablo, Warcraft, or StarCraft based so it was quite a shock to here that they are working on a new title named Overwatch. This is a team based, first person shooter which is another interesting deviation for the company but not one that isn't going to be welcomed with open arms. I'm not even a huge Blizzard fan who spends all of my time and money on their games and I'll admit what we've seen so far for Overwatch has piqued my interest and garnered my watchful eye. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
If you are still lost on how to unlock the Zombies in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here's a nice little guide It has been confirmed that we are getting a zombie mode in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare via future DLC from Activision and Sledgehammer Games but do you really want to wait until then? Of course you don't. Especially since it wouldn't be part of the Season Pass DLC but be a standalone thing for Advanced Warfare. Hopefully you knew all that before you read this so if you wanted the zombie killing action you didn't get primed in other ways. Read More…

It's Time To Question The Creed In Assassin's Creed Rogue
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A new web experience for Assassin's Creed Rogue will let you see how some of the iconic kills in the franchise were viewed from the other side I think words have yet to be able to explain how excited I am for Assassin's Creed Rogue. It will be the first real time that we get to see things from the perceived villains of the franchise: The Templar. Hopefully we will get to see why they are taking all the steps that they have over the years that have "required" the Creed to have been formed. Granted in Assassin's Creed Rogue we are only going to be seeing the side of events that took place around the timeline of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag but it is something more than nothing. I'll be honest when I am looking at the full list and the accompanying trailer for this collector's edition I am kind of a bit shocked that the whole thing is only selling for $99.99 USD. The company Fizzco who put out the energy drink then closes the city off to the rest of the world in hopes of covering up the incident. As a survivor you team up with others to escape the city and expose Fizzco. Hated There was not much to hate about Sunset Overdrive if you are into fast pace action and crazy moments. Read More…

Ubisoft has released a new trailer that combines everything we have been taught about Assassin's Creed Unity to date I'm sure at some point you may have missed the many different things covered for Assassin's Creed Unity here. There is a whole lot to cover as the game is using the full power of the Xbox One, PS4, and high end PCs after all. Ubisoft gets that and so do we. To make sure you the fans know what is going on in Assassin's Creed Unity there is a whole new trailer for the game that covers every aspect of the game in a general sense so you can see enough to finalize your choice to pick up ACU at launch or not. Check Out More Of The 150+ Characters Of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
A new developer diary and more characters are shown off for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham in the latest video released for our amusement If you thought that the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice was cramming in an obscene amount of characters then you just have not been keeping up with LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. It really does seem the DC way now-a-days to cram as many of their IPs into one product and see which hits home with fans so they can then exploit that one. Then again it is no strange news that we are up there with TT Games' LEGO Batman 3 as that was kind of the goal without changing the game's title to be LEGO DC Universe or LEGO Justice League. The first of three Dead Island comic books is now available for download from Dark Horse Comics and Deep Silver Drop what you are doing right now as the Dead Island comic is now available for everyone to read. If you are still reading my words then maybe you don't know that the Dead Island comic is 100% free and available for reading on the iOS or Android systems… And that is where I lost everyone… If you are still here and need more of a reason to spend the time reading the new comic book then you are also in luck as we have the first few pages of the Dead Island comic for you to look at and help better make up your mind. We Have A New Trapper For Evolve Named Abe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
IGN has shown off the new trapper for Evolve named Abe and he has a couple of game breaking features I loathe needing to link out to other sites that are all about being paid support video games but that is the only way we are going to get any further Evolve updates now. Looks like IGN has locked that up but that won't stop us from bringing our look and opinion as now we have Abe the new Trapper for Evolve. Now we are up to three different Trappers and two of everything else as the Big Alpha wound down on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Glad that we all get to miss out on the new stuff for the click bait. Looks Like Grand Theft Auto V Is Going FPS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
A new PS4, Xbox One, and PC exclusive feature for Grand Theft Auto V has been shown off and it is first person mode Grand Theft Auto V is coming to the 'next-gen' consoles and PC which is no big shocker to anyone who has not been without their phone or the internet. There were also a few exclusive updates for Grand Theft Auto V that will be coming to these versions of the game but they have been nothing that wasn't expected given the power offered from the newer systems. Luckily those were not the only perks to waiting for GTAV to hit this November as it looks like those hold outs are getting the chance to play the game in First Person mode. All because this is something that everyone wanted or something like that. Read More…
