UK retailer Gamestation decided to play a prank on its unknowing customers. For those of us who do not read the terms and conditions agreements of online transactions (all of us), they inserted an "Immortal Soul" clause (which is exactly what you would think).
Long story short, 88% percent of customers did not click the opt out option of said clause and willingly surrendered their ethereal essence to the British retail giant. The 12% who did notice the opt out feature received a small discount for doing their due diligence. Before I go on, seriously; who reads that stuff?
