Gamestation Legally Aquires Customers' Souls UK retailer Gamestation decided to play a prank on its unknowing customers. For those of us who do not read the terms and conditions agreements of online transactions (all of us), they inserted an "Immortal Soul" clause (which is exactly what you would think).

Long story short, 88% percent of customers did not click the opt out option of said clause and willingly surrendered their ethereal essence to the British retail giant. The 12% who did notice the opt out feature received a small discount for doing their due diligence. Before I go on, seriously; who reads that stuff? Anyone? If you said yes to yourself out loud just now don't lie. You're bad at it.

Anyways to show that they are not all evil, Gamestation later sent out an email relinquishing all claims to their customers' souls. I'm sure their legal department wasn't happy about the lack of intent to collect. Are you going to start reading the terms and conditions when they pop up now? Didn't think so. Personally I don't worry about hostile attempts to claim MY immortal soul; I pledged it to Blizzard years ago.
