Metro Redux Is Now Completely Announced With All The Perks
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Metro Redux, as well as HD versions of 2033 and Last Light, have been 100% announced with all of their details. Late in March this year there were rumors abound about Metro Redux coming to the next gen consoles. This would be a HD version of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light all together for the PS4, XB1, and PC. It was so well rumored that Deep Silver and 4A Games even released a statement about the 'leaked' information stating that there is way more to it all than was being talked about. As of right now, we have all those details and they are just as amazing as we were told they would be. Read More…

Review: The Walking Dead: Season 2 — In Harm's Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review The Walking Dead Season 2 - In Harm's Way. It's The Third Episode. Does It Keep The Steamroller Of A Franchise Rolling? Here we go with the hump section of The Walking Dead: Season 2. We've hit the midsection of this season for the game and it should be 'all downhill' from here. Pun intended and hopeful. There is a lot riding on the season as well as the franchise here but has it fully delivered? Read More…

Here Are Some More Haunting Screens For Murdered: Soul Suspect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
New screen shots have been released for Murdered: Soul Suspect via the game's social media handles. Here they are so you don't have to hunt for them. We are only a few weeks away from the release of Murdered: Soul Suspect now. It is a little unnerving that we have yet to get a good chunk of any gameplay that doesn't resolve around the opening of the game. I'll assume that is just to help keep the mystery of the story a bit more but it would be nice to see what happens as Ronan learns to be more like a ghost. Or at least a clay spinning scene randomly thrown in just to pay homage and such. Read More…

Batman Is Evening The Odds In This Gameplay Trailer For Batman: Arkham Knight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight has been released showing off a bit of everything in the game. Including a view of the Scarecrow. Finally we have a bit of gameplay for Batman: Arkham Knight and it does more than just show off Batman kicking ass in the same form we have had throughout the Arkham franchise. We get some new looks at the villains, including Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight. We also get to see how much fun it is going to be wrecking Gotham with the Batmobile. Read More…

Looks Like Some Of The Far Cry 4 Story Has 'Leaked'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A pre-order page for Far Cry 4 has let loose some details surrounding the story of the game. Well that didn't take too long before something was 'leaked' for Far Cry 4. Granted it isn't much but at least it is safe to assume that it is accurate and not a rumor considering the source. The source being the pre-order page on the uPlay website for Far Cry 4. Can't get any more solid than that unless this is all one big Ubisoft troll to promote Watch_Dogs. I wouldn't put it past them to state that the site was "hacked" as part of a promotion but seeing as you can only view the below content on a cached version of the site I think that may be a bit far-fetched. New Screen Shots For The Wolf Among Us Ep 4 Means Two Weeks Until The New Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
New screen shots for episode four of The Wolf Among Us have been released. That should mean the episode release is on its way. Lookie there, we have some new screen shots for The Wolf Among Us' episode four. An episode titled In Sheep's Clothing. That should mean, if my Telltale clock is working right, that we should most likely see the new episode in about two weeks. Also we should be seeing a trailer for said episode by the end of the week or early next week. That is about how clockwork they usually have been with The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead. Apparently This Is Everything You Need To Know About Destiny
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of May 2014 - 09:08 PM ]
There is a new developer diary type video for Destiny showing off what you need to know for the new FPS from Bungie. It may sound like I am joking here about seeing everything you need to know about Destiny here. I am. I highly doubt that this new two minute video is going to show you everything you need to know about Bungie's upcoming FPS title but the title of the video says it does. So given that then we will continue to go off this and that there is nothing else to know about Destiny. So what there is to know about Destiny is that it's an FPS (not new) from Bungie (not new). The Best Viral Marketing Award Goes To Watch_Dogs And Ubisoft
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Ubisoft set out to give real people the real world experience of Watch_Dogs in their latest marketing campaign. I think the headline here covers exactly what is going on with this latest bit of marketing for Watch_Dogs. In this latest bit I think we can all agree would be the most game selling experience if anyone ever experienced it and didn't even know that Watch_Dogs existed. Yes, this is that cool. What happened here? Read More…

New Trailer For Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark has hit the web showing off quite a bit of fun gameplay. Do you know how close we are to the launch of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark? About a month away now and the game was only officially announced back in February. I am sure that Edge Of Reality, the new studio working on the franchise, has been working long and hard before that but it is still crazy to think that the game is coming out on June 24th already and there is still so little to know about Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark outside of it taking place in the same War For Cybertron setting. I just hope that Activision hasn't turned the somewhat decent franchise into a full on movie tie-in kind of thing. Let's watch the new trailer for Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark and see. This Week In Gaming 5/12/14 — 5/16/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. It is time to wrap yet another week of gaming news and there has been some great and fun news to lead into the weeks of silence before E3. Soon we will have nothing more than a few little tidbits to speculate on or hope for until we get full announcements and details. I'm sure we will most likely see 'leaked' information come out that will come to pass like the Halo 5: Guardians announcement but to keep things fun until June I hope they stay few. None the less we have had some cool new stuff for Dragon Age: Inquisition and Watch_Dogs come out to hype us all up for our future gaming needs. Read More…

Halo 5: Guardians Has Been Announced For A Fall 2015 Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Halo 5: Guardians has been officially announced now by 343 Studios for the Xbox One next year. While the new installment of the Halo franchise was teased during the huge Microsoft event last year at E3, just weeks before this year's E3 we get the announcement and release window for Halo 5: Guardians. Good news for all of you Halo fans I am sure although I keep hearing the outcry for a Halo 2: Anniversary to be released on the XB1. That is news for another day though as here we are talking Halo 5: Guardians news. Read More…

Far Cry 4 Has Been Announced And Slated For Release This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 4 is coming and coming as soon as November this year. So we've had The Division delayed but now we have the announcement of Far Cry 4 to pick up the slack this year. Maybe this is what was meant by not wanting to compromise quality for The Division? None the less though it looks like Far Cry fans will have the next installment of the franchise to look forward to on November 18th 2014 on their PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PC. If Ubisoft had their way there would be an 'and' instead of the 'or' as you would be picking up Far Cry 4 on multiple platforms. Outside of the announcement there is very little else beside the following piece of art and the location that Far Cry 4 will be taking place in. Read More…

Delays Strike Again And This Time It Is For The Division
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The Dev Team for The Division has just announced that the game will be delayed until 2015 now. Looks like we are going to have to wait even longer for The Division as it has been delayed until 2015 now. The reason behind this is…well not fully defined. If you look at the official statement about the delay below you will see that they claim that it is not to compromise quality of the game but there is no real definition there either. Not even the generic "it needs more polish" kind of excuse. All that is known is that we will not be seeing The Division until sometime in 2015. Read More…

New Trailer For Wolfenstein: The New Order To Get You Ready For Nazi Killing
by Greg Tatterfield [ Thursday, 15th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Bethesda has release the launch trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order and we have it here. Bethesda has released a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order which releases next week. The new trailer shows plenty of bloody ways to kill Nazis. Or as B.J. puts it; shooting, stabbing and strangling Nazis. The launch trailer also gives you more of an insight into B.J. Read More…

Just In Case You Need Some More Borderlands In Your Life Right Now…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Three new short videos based on Borderlands have been released in a series call Tales from the HQ. If you are eagerly waiting for Tales From The Borderlands to come out so you can expand on the stories of the world, let me offer you these three new shorts in a series call Tales From The HQ. Don't get them all mixed together though as while both the new game from Telltale and these are only connected in the way of Borderlands characters and environments. Tales From The HQ is a series of short films made by students at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA who happened to team up with 2K Games and Gearbox. Originally only supposed to one film, now three, and to have been released in December of last year. Read More…
