by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
A new batch of screenshots of Dishonored 2 have been released a bit before the larger Dishonored 2 that is still slated for the E3 event Last we heard on Dishonored 2 was the release date of November 11th this year and that we would get to see the game in action during Bethesda's big E3 showcasing and most likely on the floor. As it looks though Arkane Studios didn't want us all to have to wait that long and we now have some new screenshots for the game. Screenshots and a few bits of concept art that helped bring Dishonored 2 to life and soon to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Read More…

Mirror's Edge Catalyst Kind Of Has A Theme Song Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
A new song for Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been released from CHVRCHES that will be featured at Mirror's Edge Catalyst's opening and ending It sounds a bit weird to say that Mirror's Edge Catalyst is going to have a theme song of sorts but that is the easiest way to describe the latest update here for the game. No DICE hasn't crafted some catchy new song like all of those Saturday morning cartoons we loved but instead have reached out to CHVRCHES to craft something for them. And craft something they have as it looks like the song here is slated to be used for the open, ending, and a hidden place in Mirror's Edge Catalyst when it lands on June 7th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We sit down and review Hitman — Sapienza. This is the second episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. We've had plenty of time to get use to the controls of Hitman and played through multiple times in Paris but now it is time to move right along to Sapienza. That is the new location and bit of story we have here in the second episode as Io Interactive moves to expand on the game. It is also the only other location that we've seen for Hitman out of all of the ones announced. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 5/9/16 — 5/13/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a slower week in video games but we made it through. Of course I chalk all of this up to it being Friday the 13th week as well as it being filled with a whole lot of game releases. But of course we also did get a lot of Mafia 3 news out there as well as some Hellblade and of course it wouldn't have been a solid week in video games without the Friday The 13: The Game updates. You know it had to have some solid stuff this week and of course it did. I have a feeling that next week may just about the same in the lighter side of news of video games. Read More…

Five More Ways Mafia 3 Is Not Your Normal Open World Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Mafia 3 has popped up online and along with it comes some good explanation on how Mafia 3 is not an open world clone If what we've seen so far for Mafia 3 wasn't enough to get you interested in picking up the title then I don't know what is wrong with you. I'm sure Hangar 13 would feel about the same way given all of the insane advancements and changes to the franchise that look to make it truly new. Of course you have a lot of people out there stating that Mafia 3 is just another open world clone of games like GTA now but as some new gameplay and impressions would show those people may be just as wrong as the mafia was to kill Clay's crew. As it turns out there have been some other major media outlets that have had a chance to place hands on with Mafia 3 and gain access to some new gameplay footage. Read More…

Call Of Cthulhu Takes Us On A Trip To Darkwater Island
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
A few new screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released as well as a great overview of what Call Of Cthulhu's story is going to be all about It looks like some new Call Of Cthulhu tidbits have crawled out of the abyss here and is ready to show us just a bit more on what the game will be all about. Updates have been very sparse since Cyanide Studios took over for the title and it looks like it is going to stay that way for just a bit longer. Unless Focus Home Interactive has some huge plans out there to shock and awe. Read More…

What we are getting is a taste of the last extra feature that Hitman has to offer in its current form. Star Trek Online Boldly Goes Toward Consoles This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Long running Star Trek Online MMO is now heading to the PS4 and Xbox One so more players can experience the Star Trek free-to-play title It's only been about six months in the waiting but now it looks like Star Trek Online is making the voyage to the PS4 and Xbox One. This is something that Perfect World and Cryptic had in the cards since the consoles that could handle the game's engine popped up and we will be seeing it again this Fall. As an added bonus here too, Star Trek Online will also be keeping its Free-To-Play model during the leap so there will be no worry about having to shell out for a game here to play a massive version of "catch up." It does seem a bit odd that it took this long for Star Trek Online to try and make the jump over to the console world but given the controls and UI of the PC version I think it is safe to say that we can blame it on that. Here's The Other Side Of Homefront: The Revolution's Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Another trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has been released and this one expands a bit further on Homefront's story but from a different point of view of sorts We are only mere days away from Homefront: The Revolution hitting our PS4, Xbox One, or PC and the hype train is still rolling. With that comes another story trailer that Dambuster Studios has put together for us to show off another side of the conflict. Not in terms of seeing what the "enemies" are thinking and doing, while that would be interesting, but more along the lines of how the "Voice Of Freedom" in Homefront is being perceived. Read More…
