There have been a few questions on when or if Left Alive was going to be hitting the Western shores and now we have a final answer. As it turns out, it will be hitting the PS4 and PC via Steam on March 5th. I had little doubt on this as it would have made little sense for Square Enix not to bring it here, but now we have a final date to look for as well as a few other fun bits for Left Alive as well. There are also a few cool and different editions of the game heading our way in physical and digital forms.
The first major thing we have to look at for Left Alive is the obvious release date announcement trailer that always comes here. It gives us all a little extra look at how the story and missions in the game will unfold and play out. Also a cool look at how we will be piloting those mechs in the game and trying to achieve our goals along the way. It is more of a flashy kind of trailer, it is a basic release date announcement one, so take that in. Just be glad we have all of this for Left Alive and move right along.
Left Alive — Release Date Announcement
Left Alive is a brand-new survival action shooter coming to the PlayStation 4 and Steam on March 5th, 2019.
As I mentioned above, there will be a few cool editions of Left Alive coming on March 5th now. You may have seen them in the above video if you stayed until the end. The best one being that one will come with an "action figure" of the main mech in the game. At least it is the one that is focused upon in the video and trailers so far. Maybe it will have a different role in Left Alive but most likely not. No matter how you look at it, we will be able to pick that version up over at Square Enix's store if we so choose.
Square Enix today announced that the brand-new survival action shooter Left Alive, is releasing for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Steam on March 5th.
Created by veteran game developers, Toshifumi Nabeshima (director, Armored Core series), Yoji Shinkawa from Kojima Productions (character designer, Metal Gear series), and Takayuki Yanase (mech designer, Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Xenoblade Chronicles X), Left Alive tells a dark and gritty story of survival from the perspective of three different protagonists as they struggle to escape the war-torn city.
Players who purchase the physical Day One Edition of the game will receive the bonus ‘Survival Pack’ DLC, which includes plenty of useful items to help players survive, such as the Ammo Pack, Light Body Armor, Recovery Pack, Klyuch Weapon, and Grenade Pack.
For the ultimate collector, the limited Mech Edition bundle is available for pre-order exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store for $159.99, and includes:
Digital pre-orders are also now available through the PlayStation Store and Steam Store for $59.99, which includes the base game, bonus DLC, including Ammo Pack, Light Body Armor and Recovery Pack as well as the following exclusive items:
To round it all out, we have another story trailer for Left Alive out with all of this. All in English for those who have been skipping everything due to the way things were presented before. It gives us all a good understanding to where the game's world has progressed and just why we are out there doing what we are doing. Obviously it is to save part of the world as these things always go. Well, maybe not the whole world on the base level, but the world of the characters in Left Alive and that is just as important.
Left Alive — State Of The World
Are you glad to know that Left Alive will be coming at us on March 5th now? What do you think about the different editions here and will you be looking to get the Mech Edition of the game? Do you think it is a missed opportunity to have a working mini-mech in the edition or would that have made the cost out of the norm for gamers? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments and discuss. We will have more for Left Alive here on the site, so be sure to stick around and keep reading.
