Wander Some New Haunting Halls With The Announcement For The Curse Of The Crimson Stag
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 13th of May 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Crimson Stag Wander deep into the folklore of the Crimson Stag, with a new title on the way called the Curse Of The Crimson Stag While the Nacon Connect showcase leaned into a few other fun horror-themed things, some of us might have missed another on the way with the announcement of Curse Of The Crimson Stag. A new narrative adventure that One-O-One Games is working on with Daedalic Entertainment to bring it all to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A new title that is also leaning more into the folk-horror genre as a thing for us all to have more nightmares about. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/4/26 — 5/8/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The time has passed right along, and we are at the end of yet another week with so many video games dropping and getting updates. We even had a few hit us up out of nowhere to get us all further excited for Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish and now Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn. Not video games I was expecting this week when it started with Control Resonant. Again, not a bad thing, but we did not plan for so much fun and also getting our Mouse: P. Read More...

Control Resonant Walks Us A Bit Further Into A Paranaturally Warped Manhattan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Control Head further behind the scenes for Control Resonant to see how different the world will be from the one of Control There has been a whole lot of focus, as of late, on the location that we are going to be flying around in when Control Resonant lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In fairness, Remedy has been fairly forthcoming about the fact that we are hitting the streets and getting to take on all of the creatures and factions in Manhattan. Not the most ideal place for us to be able to save the world, but it falls in line with what Control has given us up to now. This is why it is fun to have another look behind the scenes for the game to see just how the team is warping it into the game world, as well as show us all the various things we are going to need to fend off along the way. Fly Through How The Gameplay Has Evolved For The Coming Control Resonant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of April 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Control Go behind the scenes to see how the gameplay of Control has evolved a bit more to where Control Resonant is going to take us The next developer diary for Control Resonant is here, and it aims to show us how the game has evolved what worked in the previous game and for the IP in general. A nice little look at how things have shifted at Remedy for it all, while making sure that it just does not feel like we are going to be playing the same game, just with a different character. I mean, for starters, this one is taking us outside of the Oldest House and into the real world, going with a melee combat option over the firearms of Control, along with taking the bigger and mysterious threat from the first game and making it the main antagonist. Those are the basics, and now we get to see how that came to be and how the team is going to handle the challenges that are going to be imposed on the game. Read More...

Walk Through A Bit Of The Gameplay We Are Going To Have In Project Songbird
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of March 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Project Songbird New gameplay for Project Songbird is out there to get us all ready for the full release of Project Songbird soon It is time to get ready to see what Project Songbird will have to offer us all on March 26th when the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not that we have not had little looks here and there, but FYRE Games has gone out of its way to make sure we have a bit more to the story, along with a look at the gameplay we are going to be handling. Something that I am sure many might have thought was just going to be a bit of a walking sim, but it looks as if Project Songbird has a bit more under the hood for us to enjoy. Something that will make writing that massive new album in the world just a bit harder. Read More...

Head Out Beyond The Oldest House With The Latest For Control Resonant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Control See how Control Resonant is taking us all a bit further than the original Control allowed us all to go before We have been inside The Oldest House quite a bit before, and Control Resonant aims to take us all outside of that setting. This is all something many would know just from playing the first game, and from what Remedy has shown off during all of the videos we have had since the game was first revealed. Not to mention, we will be playing as the brother and captive character we saw in Control, so it does make sense that they are going out of their way to give us a new setting for the game. As long as it holds up, I think many of us will enjoy it all on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

Dylan Shifts Us All Through A Bit More Of The Gameplay For Control Resonant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of February 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Control New gameplay for Control Resonant is out there to help us see how things will be shifting about in the world of Control With all of the new threats out there in Control Resonant, it makes sense that we are going to need a few new ways to handle things out there. Not to mention, since Dylan is a bit different than Jesse, it would make sense that Remedy shifted things around for the character to help Dylan feel truly different than we have had in the world of Control up to now. Even if they did try a few things before with other spin-off titles, that is a whole different story. Here, though, we have a new look at the gameplay for the game and how things will be different and potentially better when the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later in 2026. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of January 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
Project Songbird The release date for Project Songbird is set down for us to look at, and we have a little more to enjoy for Project Songbird A new, dark narrative is on the way to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with the release date now set for Project Songbird. A new title on the way from FYRE Games that we will have to enjoy out there, as long as you are in for a four to five hour horror title on March 26th. That would be the day that they want the game to go live in the world, so mark it down. Even if Project Songbird might not have been the most promoted title out there as of late. Read More...

Reality Is Getting Reshaped, Again, With The Announcement For Control Resonant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of December 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Control The world of Control is getting even stranger, with the announcement that we have for Control Resonant coming soon The FBC is back, again, with the latest announcement we have from The Game Awards this year, as Control Resonant is on the way to us in 2026. This is the next in the bigger story that Remedy is telling over all of their games on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A direct sequel to Control and the other bits of story that have gone down in this universe of titles, and one that will not be following one of the main characters we have seen so far. Even if it is one that we have seen to some degree, and followed along with someone close to them. Read More...

Disney Entertainment Television Is Bringing So Many Fun Things To SDCC 2025
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of July 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Disney All of the Disney IPs are on the way for us at SDCC 2025 with many events, experiences, and panels from Disney Entertainment Television With all of the weird mergers going on out there, it is nice to see that Disney is still going to bring so many of their IPs back to SDCC this year. Some of them, we all might not even know that were part of the new-ish umbrella, but will have a massive presence out there. Some of them will just be basic photo-ops, others will be panels, and others will have some extra events and parties going down for them. Even if a lot of them might not be the main IPs one would think of, but all under the Disney Entertainment Television banner. Read More...

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Takes Us Back Before The Plague Even Started
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale A new chapter for A Plague Tale is on the way with the recent announcement of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy If you thought the run of this IP might be over after the last title, then you are in for a treat with the announcement we have for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Another in the line of titles that Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive have been dropping out there, only this time it takes us back before a good chunk of the main games. Yes, this is more of a prequel to the titles in A Plague Tale, but also focusing on a character we were only introduced to in the second full title. It is a weird bit of timey wimey stuff, but I am sure it will all make sense when 2026 rolls out and we get to experience the title on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...
