Final Fantasy VII Remake Gets A New Trailer With Some New Gameplay Mixed In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake is here and it shows a bit of the updates and gameplay from the original opening mission of Final Fantasy VII It has been so long since we last saw anything for the Final Fantasy VII Remake and we were all treated to a new look at the game during the PlayStation State of Play stream yesterday. Maybe you caught it or maybe you missed it, nonetheless, we are here to give you a look at the game yet again and just where Square Enix may have brought the game to. Something that I am sure all of the fans of Final Fantasy VII will fully enjoy as we are seeing some next-level visuals and the integration of the real-time combat we have experienced in all of the more recent titles in the franchise. Have A Look At What Sparked Chernobylite Into Creation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
A new look at why Chernobylite is in the works is here along with a new Kickstarter bonus for those willing to give Chernobylite a chance The Chernobylite Kickstarter is almost to a close with about forty-eight hours left to go at the time of the original posting of this. If you are worried that the campaign will fail, then you can still throw your support over at The Farm 51 or just sit back and know that it has already been funded almost twice over. More or less, at this point you will just be supporting the team, pushing for more rewards, and securing your copy of Chernobylite well before it is complete. Treat this as a reminder to do so. Find Out How We Made It To The Point Of RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The launch trailer for RAGE 2 is here and with it comes some time-bending fun and a deeper look at what will be going on in RAGE 2 We are now mere days away from the launch of RAGE 2 with May 14th literally around a weekend corner. Some of us, myself included, have been looking forward to this day for a while now even if many others have been shocked to hear that Bethesda went ahead with the title given the previous one's sales. It looks like that will not hold anything back when you have a team like Avalanche Studios and ID Software excited and working. Good thing too, as we have seen a whole lot and now we are back with the launch trailer for RAGE 2 to give us all a bit more before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next week. Read More…

Say Adieu To Your Opponents As Charlotte Joins Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
The next character for Samurai Shodown is here and we get to see how Charlotte comes in and destroys here opponents in Samurai Shodown Another week has passed by and we have one more character revealed for Samurai Shodown with many more to come. Just as it should have been easy to assume, it is another fan-favorite character from the past of the franchise in the way of Charlotte. I am going to go on a limb and guess that we are going to be seeing mostly old characters coming back from SNK, as it has been so long that Samurai Shodown has been silent out there. I could be wrong, but it is not as if the game has had multiple sequels over the past years like other fighters, which would allow them to go out and craft new fighters. Read More…

Survive A Harsh World With Interesting Puzzles In Claire de Lune
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
An announcement for Claire de Lune is here and it will be a new puzzle game that will take us on the hunt for the titular Claire on weird planet In the seemingly endless run of all the dark and grim first-person games coming out, it is nice to see another puzzle and platforming game get the announcement as Claire de Lune just did. That should be given from the little bit above this line, but that is what we have here from Tactic Studios for their latest title. As I mentioned, it will have a nice first-person look to it all, but only as far as perspective and use of mechanics as it will be a puzzle game much like was have seen in the past. Read More…

John Wick Hex Is Announced & Bringing The Character’s Strategies To You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
A new strategy title, John Wick Hex, is announced that will give you the fun of a strategy game with the gun fu flair of the John Wick franchise It is kind of surprising that a John Wick video game has not been placed out there as of yet as it would seem right for a shooter style game. I know I am not the only one thinking this, but that does not change the fact that Bithell Games is now making one that is outside of the direct shooter genre. In fact, we now have word that we are going to be seeing John Wick Hex out there at some point as an action-oriented strategy game and not specifically a shooter. Read More…

The Blood Sorcerers, Tremere, Are Coming To Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
The next clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here and brings blood magic with them into the darkness of Bloodlines 2 In a bit of a surprise turn for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, it looks like the team is bringing one of the harder clans into the game in the way of the Tremere. At least if you look at how they are treated in the tabletop version of the game and not specifically what Hardsuit Labs is doing here. For those that are not fully up to speed, they are blood sorcerers that can do damned near anything and also have one of the weakest (to implement in a video game) curse. Read More…

Get To Know The Locations & Enemies Of RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
A breakdown of some of the enemy types of RAGE 2 is here as well as a nice look at the different lands of RAGE 2 we will be destroying soon The hype for RAGE 2 is starting to flow out even more with just a week out from the official release of the game. There is no doubt that we have not seen a lot of this from Bethesda over the past few months since the game was surprised announced, but we are in the endgame here for the cycle and that means much more. At least much more that will not spoil RAGE 2 and the hard work that Avalanche Studios has put into so far. This includes one more quick look at the enemies and locations of the game that we will soon be shooting up in the game. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
EA Access will now be heading to the PS4 this July allowing gamers another way to subscribe to EA Access and all of the games it holds In one of the least surprising moves recently, it looks like we will soon be seeing EA Access over on the PS4 for those who are looking to partake in the service that EA has been offering for a while. At least offering up for those gamers on the PC and Xbox One who wanted to take advantage of the service and experience many of the company's titles. Coming in July, PS4 owners will have the chance to throw down $4. Read More…

The Shattering Is Bringing Us Another Mind-Bending Psychological Thriller
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A new teaser for The Shattering is here to show us very little for the game and get us all properly teased for more of The Shattering It looks to be the start of the season again where we get mind-bending thriller games and here we are with the official tease for The Shattering. Not to be confused with the other forms of media with the same name, this one is a new title from SuperSexySoftware and Deck13 that looks to be a little Layers Of Fear and a little bit The Inpatient. Both titles that take place in a weird and changing environment while dealing with the sanity of the protagonist. At least the presumed sanity as it looks like The Shattering will be looking at someone who has been losing it for a while. Read More…

Welcome To Yaesha, The World Of Remnant: From The Ashes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
We have a nice, new look at the world of Remnant: From The Ashes with just a bit more of in-game footage to take in for Remnant Here we go into another new world in the video game arena with a new look at Remnant: From The Ashes and the world the story and gameplay will inhabit here. We have seen a bit of this in the past with other videos that Gunfire Games has put out there for the game, but now we are back with one more solid look at just how it will all look and feel. In this game specifically. Even if the world of Remnant does look a bit like other games that the studio has put out in the past. Read More…

Layers Of Fear 2 Offers Up A Bit More Of The Horror-Filled Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Layers Of Fear 2 is here to take us through a different part of the ship and see how it differs from the original Layers Of Fear It is always nice to get new gameplay for upcoming titles and we have even more for Layers Of Fear 2 now so we can dissect more and try to figure out what is going on. Well, at least try to as the franchise has always been about the weird, macabre, and unknown since Bloober Team brought the original title to us. I am hopeful that they are doubling down on all of that as we venture on to a ship and take on the role of an actor instead of a painter. Read More…

Monsters Are Lurking Everywhere In A Plague Tale: Innocence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence is out now and shows us more of the true monsters the kids will need to face in A Plague Tale If you have been following along with A Plague Tale: Innocence up to now, then you may already know that there are going to be swarms of rats in the game and it would be easy to think of them as the true monsters of the game. They are out to devour our flesh and hinder all kinds of progress as we have seen in the past trailers. No one would fault you for that line of thinking. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of May 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with wrapping one more week in the world of video games with all kinds of cool things announced and shown off. Mix that all in with looks at video games the likes of Life Is Strange 2 and A Plague Tale, we had one more solid week for it all. I will not shake a dead skunk at it at all and just sit pretty knowing what we had. Read More…

World War Z Will Be Expanding Its World & Challenges In The Coming Months
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
The roadmap of updates for World War Z is laid out and will be bringing so much more to this world of World War Z that has been crafted By now it is easy to assume that many have played and enjoyed all if not most of what World War Z had to offer at launch. There is quite a bit in the game and we already knew there was much more to come out of Saber Interactive post-launch. Specifically, a new Tokyo mission that was revealed well before launch for the low price of free. This is just the first of these updates and now we have details on what and when more will be coming to World War Z to give us more of that Left 4 Dead feeling. Read More…
