by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man Have a small taste of Spider-Man's first DLC and see how Spider-Man will be going after Black Cat and the other extras in The Heist Today marks the day that the first DLC for Spider-Man hits the PS4 and as we all know it will be adding Black Cat fully into the mix. At least for those who opted to buy the Season Pass or are willing to send another $9.99 to Insomniac Games for the DLC. Both solid options, but that is not what we are here for. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Days Gone Another delay has hit Days Gone and this time it is to make sure that Days Gone is not in the middle of many other releases It looks like our February 22nd of 2019 is going to open up a bit as Days Gone will no longer be dropping on that date like so many other titles that have been announced. Yes, this means that Bend Studio is going to have to delay that game yet again. You will need to look for a different way to kill some zombies on your PS4 for a bit longer as Days Gone is now slated to release on April 26th of 2019. Read More...

Signs Are Pointing To No PSX In The US For 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
PSX A recent interview has dropped the bomb that this year’s PSX will not happen, but for a reason to make us look for next year’s PSX Sad news for those looking forward to this year's PlayStation Experience, or PSX, as it looks like it will not be happening this year. At least in the United States. All of which being stated by Shawn Layden (PlayStation Worldwide Studios Chairman) on the latest PlayStation Blogcast. Although, given what was said, we cannot truly fault the company as the main reason for losing PSX this year is that they do not have enough to show off this year to necessitate a full PSX to happen. Death Stranding Adds Another Voice To The List With Little Else To Go On
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of September 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Death Stranding Another confusing trailer for Death Stranding is here from TGS and it looks like Troy Baker will have his voice in Death Stranding to destroy us In no huge surprise, Death Stranding had a small showing out at TGS and it also brought with us a listen to Troy Baker as he is now part of the project. Not the biggest of shocks that Kojima Productions would add his voice in given how many games he is in for VO and the connection with Sony for their other PS4 titles. It was only a matter of time, but what is interesting here is that it seems to be his voice only for Death Stranding so far and not the full body renders we have seen for the rest of the cast in the game. Photo Mode Is Coming To Spider-Man On Day One Of Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man We have a look at the photo mode that is coming to Spider-Man as a day one update as well as a look at another Spider-Man villain It would a be a weird thing if a Spider-Man game did not have a photo system in it of some sort given the franchise and character's history with snapping photos in general. We have seen things like it from the past but it looks like Insomniac Games is giving us a new version of the Photo Mode we have come to enjoy in many other games. Even if this one does not fully fit in the world of Spider-Man the way it should, it will be bringing us some new and interesting ways to look at the world and share. Read More...

New York City Will Be Our Open Playground In Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of August 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new video for the upcoming Spider-Man game is here to show us more of the in-game city we will be swinging around as Spider-Man Just as we thought we were not going to be seeing more of Spider-Man before its launch on September 7th, here we go with just a little more. Not much more as there is still a lot hidden away by Insomniac Games, but more in the way of the location and world we will be swinging around in. Anyone who knows Spider-Man, in general, knows we will be based in New York City and that means there should be a lot of iconic buildings and structures to keep an eye out for in the game. Well, it does not mean it but it is something we should do as we are swinging around with our PS4 controllers. Read More...

Days Gone Will Use Realism To Build More Gameplay Tension
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Days Gone A new behind the scenes video for Days Gone has dropped to explain how Days Gone will use a sense of realism to add to the gameplay tension in the game It may not be much for now, but we have another look at Days Gone here and how Bend Studio is aiming to use more realism in the game to add to the tension we will feel when playing. At least that is the claim here as we see how we will be forced to encounter hordes of "freakers" in the game early on and have to deal with that as we progress further into the game. Not only that but we will also have to worry about our motorcycle's status in Days Gone in terms of fuel and state of repair. Read More...

Spider-Man We have a launch trailer for Spider-Man now and it brings with it some old and new gameplay to look at as we wait for Spider-Man to launch We are getting ever so much closer to the launch of Spider-Man and it looks like we may be nearing the end of the new info and updates and heading more toward the marketing push to sell more copies of the game. There are still a few things left out there that Insomniac Games has yet to reveal, like the collector’s edition statue, but if we have it all up front there will be no big surprises. That is why we have the latest, and maybe last, trailer for Spider-Man to look at here today. Read More...
