It has been a long while since we had any good news about Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 hasn't it? Almost eight months it has been since the VGA's ran the announcement trailer for Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Games' next incarnation of the best Batman game to date. The only thing we've had to go on from there is the small slips that the voice actors have passed out. Well here is something better than those small things. For starters, it is no longer called Batman: Arkhamn Asylum 2. Read More...

by Corey Dockendorf [ Wednesday, 14th of July 2010 - 08:59 PM ]
It wasn't that long ago (*cough*...E3...*cough*) that Microsoft announced its latest XBox redesign - the Xbox 360 Slim. Well, news has been flying around that an Arcade version of the XBox 360 Slim is getting an August release date along with some even slimmer hardware. According to German Amazon.com, the XBox 360 Slim Arcade is slated for an August 20th release date, and will come with only 4GB of storage space (no news on wireless capabilities yet). Contrary to the recent inception of the XBox 360 Slim which only comes in a 250GB hard drive option. The new XBox Slim Arcade seems like it could possibly support some sort of flash memory or other small storage device as an option. Read More...

Review: Crackdown 2
by Brian Goodman [ Wednesday, 7th of July 2010 - 01:47 PM ]
Okay so quick question to you before I really get started. If you lived in a city where half the population were zombies and the other half were juvenile radical activists, would you move away? What if you had "peacekeepers" tearing through the city, killing everything, and acting like they were controlled by someone who spends a good amount of their life playing games that ingrain in their head that they can do whatever they want without consequence? Would you really want to raise a family there? I can't imagine the school districts in Pacific City being all that nice. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of July 2010 - 10:34 PM ]
After waiting for more of Rapture and BioShock to be announced at E3 in the form of BioShock 3 or a BioShock MMO. I was dubiously let down in my search for that. But at least I found a Big Daddy and a Little Sister there. That and 2K Games just announced some upcoming DLC that adds onto the single player mode of the game. Awesomely Epic. Here is what we will be getting for $4. Read More...

Jigsaw Wants To Know Your Breaking Point
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of July 2010 - 08:20 PM ]
After posting about what I saw and got to play at E3 for Saw II: Flesh And Blood, I'm sure that most of you were still sitting on the side of the fence with all the non Saw film lovers. Hey, I was on top of the fence, slowly walking along it to see if I would fall before I got a bit of hands on. This is why I am bringing you something to help make up your minds a bit on Saw II. Here is the video clip they used to show off the game at E3. By the looks of it, the producers got a hold of the creative people behind the trailers for the films, as this trailer is clipped just like the old promotional videos for the movie franchise. E3 2010: Sights And Sounds
by Binh Nguyen [ Tuesday, 29th of June 2010 - 06:54 PM ]
It has been over a week now since E3 closed its doors. Since then I have been pouring over the many pictures I snapped - from the Activision Party to the Nintendo and Sony presser to everything else in between. I also managed to film some of the Method Man and Redman concert at the Konami booth. You may think it is all fun and games when you are at E3, and at times can be, but it is also a lot of hard work. We work tirelessly to bring you the latest news, impressions and hands-on articles as quickly as we can. We also met a lot of great people and miss the ones we didn't get a chance to meet up with. E3 2010 Impressions: Mortal Kombat
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of June 2010 - 09:13 PM ]
As surprises come, a revitalization of Mortal Kombat was one thing I was not expecting until just before E3. You know when the crazy short popped up online followed by the new teaser trailer for Mortal Kombat. You know what I am talking about. If you didn't you would not have clicked on this article. With all that buzz just days before the event you would expect to have something to show at E3 for it, and boy did they. Nothing playable for anyone on the show floor, but those lucky enough to have a meeting or willing to stand in line for over an hour to get in to the 15 minute showing got a great glimpse of what is going on with the new Mortal Kombat game. E3 2010 Hands-On: God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of June 2010 - 09:22 PM ]
*Sound Of Pants Getting Moist* … … … … … … … … … … … But Seriously. Since it was announced through a need to Platinum God Of War III, God of War: Ghost of Sparta has been a title on my radar with a HUGE blip. It is God of War game, after all, but it is also a God of War on the PSP again. Not that the first wasn't great, but will a PSP follow up to the superstar God of War III be as good? My fanboyism aside, from what I got to get my hands on in the Sony booth, this will be another winner for the franchise. Read More...
