Tomb Raider A new developer interview for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it takes us through the evolution of Lara from the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise to now I know we are all waiting for another big update for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as all we have had since its first leak has been a nice looking CG trailer for the game. It showed us what Eidos-Montréal was aiming for, sure, but it did not give us any actual gameplay or too many details for the game. I have a feeling this was to hold off until Square Enix's big E3 showing that is planned but to give us all a taste. Read More...

It was a rough week for us here but we still managed to get all kinds of news and updates out to you for our great hobby. There were a lot of big announcements to see and have out there as we had a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 and the fact that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider will be getting an optimization treatment for the PC version. Shadow Of War A new trailer for the next DLC for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and it shows us a bit more on how this will expand the story Shadow Of War has already given us The story for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is getting further expanded here soon and we have our first look at the next DLC that is coming. Well, more of a Story Expansion than a DLC but it is what it is for now and Monolith Productions is wrapping it all up for us and putting a little Orc skull on it. I do not think anyone really wanted to go up against the power of God Of War. Well, except Tomb Raider that just had a nice new reveal for the game. It was more on the smaller or indie video games for the week but we did get to see that Jurassic World Evolution will be bringing a bit more of the franchise with it and more for Detroit: Become Human. Tomb Raider The reveal trailer for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it looks like we are going to see a darker Tomb Raider with this one The day is here and we now have the first real reveal for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to get us all amped for. Sure the game was officially announced by Eidos-Montréal a while back, but this is the first video reveal that Square Enix has for the public. I state it that way as it is only a pre-rendered video we have for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider while select few in a few select locations have had the true chance to give the current version of the game a whole. Given that it is still slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14th it would be a bit safe to assume it is in a decent place to get a good preview. Read More...

Adventure Time A new gameplay trailer for Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion is here and we get another look at how this title will expand the world of Adventure Time The first gameplay trailer for Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion is now here to entice us all to head back to the Land of Ooo and tackle the high seas of the world. It has been a good bit of time since Climax Studios and Outright Games has given us anything to look at for the game, but now we have some solid gameplay to look at. Spider-Man The second Spider-Man suit we can pick up has been shown off and now Spider-Man is further connected to Infinity War with the Iron Spider We now know the second of the three pre-order suits coming to Spider-Man and it should come as no surprise that it will be the Iron Spider suit. Given that Avengers: Infinity War is just about to release and going to be part of the huge hype train for a bit well after, it would make perfect sense that Insomniac Games would go down this path. While the Iron Spider suit is not something new just for the film, this version of the suit will be based on the version Spider-Man will wear in the film. Again, not the biggest of shocks there as it was pretty much assumed back when the pre-order details were first let loose and then the timing of all of the other announcement that were to come. Yea, not the most exciting thing to talk about, but Insomniac Games does have a few more of the villains of the game to look at. Underworld Ascendant The first teaser of gameplay for Underworld Ascendant is here and gives a small look at where Underworld Ascendant has progressed to at this point The first gameplay for Underworld Ascendant has been released out there just recently and all to give us a feel for what OtherSide Games has been working on since the successful Kickstarter campaign from so long ago. About three years ago if memory serves, but nonetheless, we have some gameplay and a look at what we should be expecting from this team. Spider-Man A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. It is not an origin story at all, but of course there had to be somewhere that this version of the character started out and led up to the action we will be seeing and experiencing on September 7th.
