12 More Iron Maiden Songs for Rock Band Just announced via their online 'zine, Harmonix just released their next wave of downloadable for Rock Band/Rock Band 2. Something which generally isn't that big of news. Generally. Except this time it is a full set of 12 Iron Maiden songs. Including one of my favorites, which was covered by Cradle of Filth, Hallowed Be Thy Name. Below is the full list as well as part of the 'zine just sent out. So you have a Fallout 3 on the PS3 but wish you could enjoy the additional DLC that 360 and PC users enjoy. Well soon you will be able to play all the sweet awesome goodness that is Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, and two newishly announced DLC packs, Point Lookout (basically a large open swamp area) and Mothership Zeta (you are abducted by aliens) on your Blu-Ray player that coincidentally plays games. While no specific date has been announced, you can expect Operation Anchorage to hit the PSN sometime late June and The Pitt and Broken Steel to follow about a month apart later.             Though Famitsu Magazine shelled out plenty of details regarding the upcoming Street Fighter IV downloable content, all the information pertained to Japan specifically. Today however, Capacom released official news regarding what content would be coming to North America and at what prices. Firstly, the free Championship Mode expansion set to be released shortly after the game’s launch will contain the aforementioned replay mode which will allow players to save and upload videos of their fights. The online tournament play will receive a few modifications as well as a new points system will be used to determine a player’s skill level which will help in creating fairer match-ups. Read More...

Many outlets are reporting on the new DLC for Left 4 Dead. Worthplaying has a small, but solid, summary:"The first L4D DLC - dubbed the L4D Survival Pack -- is due for release this spring and introduces a new multiplayer game mode entitled, Survival, plus two complete campaigns for Versus Mode . A Critic's Choice Edition of the game is also heading to retail stores this spring, and will include access to all the content introduced in the L4D: Survival Pack. In addition, for PC gamers and aspiring developers, the first Left 4 Dead release for the Source Software Development Kit (Source SDK) will allow the creation of custom Left 4 Dead campaigns that will be discoverable via L4D's matchmaking system.             With a little under two weeks until the release of Street Fighter IV, Japan’s Famitsu magazine has released details regarding several alternate costume packs that will be available for download. Capcom will release 5 packs, 1 per week, with the first landing on the day of the game’s Japan release date of February 12th. Each pack is priced at 400 yen which is roughly $4.47 USD on the PlayStation Store and 320 Microsoft Points on Marketplace. Read More...

Turns out Harmonix is giving us Nine new songs before the week is out. There are various singles from various bands (Unfortunatly Two are from the Nickelodeon band The Naked Brothers). These songs apparentley cast a wide net over different ages, genres, language, demographic and pricing structure. Along with the obligatory "paid for" tracks from aritsts like Children of Bodom, Finley,Platero y Tu, Squeeze, Tokio Hotel and the All-American Rejects there is a free track from Miranda Cosgrove called "Headphones On". BioShock PS3 DLC Surfaces Tomorrow So tomorrow, November 20th, those of us that have picked up the PS3 version of BioShock are getting a nice little treat. Exclusive added content for the game on the PSN. The add on is listed below. But there is one thing I find a little off, at least for me, the price point for PS3 users to get this new content. While PS3 BioShock owners will get access to the stuff that was given away to PC and XBox players, these 3 new challenge rooms come for a $10 fee. This week the rumors have finally come to pass. Both Darth Vader and Yoda who were originally released as “console exclusive characters” have been made available for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Sadly the price seems a little steep as Vader who first made his appearance on the PS3 is know downloadable on the 360 for the cost of 400 Microsoft points (or $5.00) and Yoda who appeared on the 360 can be downloaded off the PlayStation Store for the price of $4.99.
