The release date for Resident Evil HD REmaster and some new footage have been released for us all to enjoy It looks like this is the week for all things Resident Evil as now we have a release date for Resident Evil HD REmaster. This would be the slated "definitive" edition of the HD REmake that is now coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. We have a release date for Resident Evil Revelations 2 as well as a look at how Barry Burton will be joining the cast of playable characters in the game Well it is official now. We have a release date for Resident Evil Revelations 2's first episode still only titled Episode One for now. It looks just like with the Telltale games the episode will be hitting NA PS4s and PS3s before being released to the EU systems, Xbox Ones, Xbox 360s, and Steam accounts a day later. Some new gameplay footage for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has surfaced and it shows off the menu system as well as the controller scheme We've seen Resident Evil Revelations 2 in action already but until now there was no context on how everything was being driven and controlled. It was easy to assume the basic for the game as Capcom doesn't deviate from the basics all too much. I mean why would you change Up on the Left Stick from moving the character forward and all that? It would make no sense unless you were making a title specifically to mess with the norm and let's face it, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is not a game that looks to be deviating from the norm but giving us more of the Resident Evil franchise in our faces. Capcom TV recently held a livestream were they played Resident Evil HD Remaster to show off the upgrades that have been made to the upgraded title Good news for all of you Resident Evil fans out there who are looking forward to the Resident Evil HD Remaster for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like Capcom TV, a livestreaming show for the company's titles, has given us a new 20 minute look at how Resident Evil HD Remaster is going to look and handle on the consoles and systems not owned by Nintendo. The latest Resident Evil Revelations 2 gameplay footage shows how Capcom has brought the franchise back to survival horror instead of action horror Just like Final Fantasy XV it looks like Resident Evil Revelations 2 is getting the trailer and then the gameplay treatment from the TGS. Here is where the gameplay comes in with what looks like the PS3 driving the game during a nice long demo for the game. At least I am assuming the PS3 as it is using the controls that are not on the Xbox One or Xbox 360 and the visuals don't look crisp enough to be the PS4 running. New details and screen shots for Resident Evil Revelations 2 have been released from Capcom and it looks like another episodic adventure So Resident Evil Revelations 2 was announced and a few bits of information about the game were spilled through various means but it looks like the horse's mouth, Capcom, has given us more than expected for this upcoming title. The biggest of all being that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be continuing the episodic structure that we have all come to see in our zombie games. UK Gaming magazine Gamesmaster has a few updates and tidbits of info for Resident Evil Revelations 2 including a few in game shots Over the past weekend it looks like there has been a bit more on Resident Evil Revelations 2 revealed via the UK magazine Gamesmaster and UK website Push-Start. It looks like there was and interview that took place with the game's producer (Michiteru Okabe) and a slew of details have surfaced from it. It has just been announced that we will be getting Resident Evil on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. We're talking the original Resident Evil here Just in case you may have missed out on the original Resident Evil the umpteen times it has been given the HD remastered feel, we are getting a new version of the game for the PS3, PS4, XB1, 360, and PC. Pretty much all of the platforms that were left out when the latest Resident Evil HD remaster came out for the Wii and then some.
