The How Will You Survive video series continues for Alien Isolation showing off why guns don't solve everything in the game If you've been out of the loop then you may have missed that Sega and Creative Assembly have a nice little video series slowly coming out for Alien Isolation. The idea behind it all is how to survive in the world that the game takes place in. It is also a nice look at how not to play Alien Isolation as the actions taken by the player in these videos seem to always lead to the titular alien hunting them down and doing very bad things to them. We now have a trailer for Resident Evil Revelations 2 from Capcom and it looks to show flashes of gameplay and cut scenes It didn't take to long for Capcom to give us what we all really wanted for Resident Evil Revelations 2, an actual trailer. Yesterday it was announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 was going to be an episodic title to lead up to a physical release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. New details and screen shots for Resident Evil Revelations 2 have been released from Capcom and it looks like another episodic adventure So Resident Evil Revelations 2 was announced and a few bits of information about the game were spilled through various means but it looks like the horse's mouth, Capcom, has given us more than expected for this upcoming title. The biggest of all being that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be continuing the episodic structure that we have all come to see in our zombie games. A new Bethesda Underground video has been released showing off just how they got some of those gruesome sound effects for The Evil Within We already know that The Evil Within is going to have some amazing voice talents but there is so much more to the audio for a game like this than just famous voice overs. Flesh being torn, brains being stabbed, bones being crushed, and limbs being ripped also make the fear factor of a survival horror title. Alien Isolation has gone gold and with that announcement Sega and Creative Assembly have given us a new trailer for the game It's always a good day when we can say that a game has gone gold and there are no more delays, which happens to be just the case for Alien Isolation. So far the alpha and beta builds of the game have handled amazingly as well as brought the horror back to the franchise. This is one of the few titles I am still looking forward to for the rest of this year so the golden announcement will make this October 7th such an amazing day. UK Gaming magazine Gamesmaster has a few updates and tidbits of info for Resident Evil Revelations 2 including a few in game shots Over the past weekend it looks like there has been a bit more on Resident Evil Revelations 2 revealed via the UK magazine Gamesmaster and UK website Push-Start. It looks like there was and interview that took place with the game's producer (Michiteru Okabe) and a slew of details have surfaced from it. Slender: The Arrival is bringing its brand of horror to the PS3 and Xbox 360 before the end of September It's been almost a year since Slender: The Arrival released on Steam and well over a year for the release before that. To be honest I never was able to get caught up in the fun of Slenderman being that I am primarily a console player. Boo and hiss all you want but that won't change things for me right now. What is changing though is that Slender: The Arrival is being brought over to the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 23rd so now all of us gamers can experience what the phenomenon is all about. A new live action trailer for Destiny has been released showing off how the game should feel when playing with friends I made the comment earlier that people have been losing their excitement for Destiny as the game's launch date looms even closer. I also claimed that something needed to be done to get the excitement back even after the Planet View site cropped up. A new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows shows off the assassin gameplay as well as hints to a release date Up until now Styx: Master Of Shadows has been shown off as a stealth and Thief-like title but now it looks like there is a bit of Assassin's Creed brought into the mix with the latest gameplay trailer. This is a little bit of a shock to me as up until now it has been shown that Styx cannot handle multiple enemies and needs to stick to tricks and sneak attacks. I'll take it none the less as this looks to add yet another manner of gameplay to Styx: Master Of Shadows for all those out there who don't have the patience to take things slow and stealthy.
