Dead By Daylight As Brought In The Horrors From Five Nights At Freddy’s
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Dead By Daylight A new Killer for Dead By Daylight is stalking us all with Dead By Daylight also crossing over with Five Nights At Freddy’s It feels like this crossover should have happened a long time ago, but here with are with Dead By Daylight finally dipping its toes into the Five Nights At Freddy’s universe. Almost like the perfect time for Behaviour to do all of this with the recent release of the next big title in the FNaf universe dropping just last week. I know it was planned well in advance, but it still feels like this should have been a new thing for Dead By Daylight last year when the film dropped. Read More...

Directive 8020 Shakes Things Up Even Further With Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of June 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 More gameplay for Directive 8020 is finally here, with a look at how some of the choices in Directive 8020 will come about There have been a few tastes of how the gameplay for Directive 8020 will go down and how we are going to have to make some of those hard choices in the mix of things already. There has been no shortage of descriptions of all of that out of Supermassive Games as they keep on evolving and perfecting their titles over time. Things are ever changing, just like the creatures in Directive 8020, so it will be a wild ride on October 2nd when the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/9/25 — 6/13/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of June 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, the week has ended, and just as we thought, we had so many video games slide out there along with so many other announcements we have been struggling to keep up. A good problem to have in the industry, even if it does mean that we are going to have a few slow weeks now that we know Resident Evil Requiem, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, and Atomic Heart 2 are on the way. Not to mention the sneak announcement that a Silent Hill Remake is in the works too. Read More...

Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025 — What An Experience!
by Raymond Bruels [ Friday, 13th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Universal We take a day out to Universal Studios to check out the limited run of Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025 It is no secret that I love Universal Studios Hollywood, which is why when the first advertisements for their Fan Fest Nights 2025 were advertised, I leapt at the opportunity to secure tickets. It also coincided well with my first anniversary, and my wife is a diehard Back To The Future fan. Talk about kismet. Read More...

Directive 8020 Will Make You Want To Trust No One Out There In The Universe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of June 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 New looks at Directive 8020 offer up a few of the gameplay mechanics we will need to use to make it through the events of Directive 8020 If things were not already bad enough in the mix for Directive 8020, now we get to see just why we cannot trust anyone on the ship with us. Well, more on how we are going to try and mitigate that issue that Supermassive Games is placing in the mix out there for us. This is a Sci-Fi horror, and what would it be without having a shapeshifting alien or being that is hunting us all down? Just what we have suspected in Directive 8020, beyond all of our protagonists being robots. Read More...

Shape The Chaos Of The Future In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of June 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next Call Of Duty title is on the way with the recent announcement out there for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 The cat is out of the bag and the next in the line of the Black Ops titles is on the way with the announcement for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7. The firefights and violence just do not stop with the line that Treyarch is working toward for our futures out there, but if it did, we would not have a video game to play. That or the chance to see how the stories of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6 have been building and leading to this dark future that the IP is offering up. Sadly, one that does not look too far off from the current world we live in. Read More...

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Takes Us Back Before The Plague Even Started
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale A new chapter for A Plague Tale is on the way with the recent announcement of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy If you thought the run of this IP might be over after the last title, then you are in for a treat with the announcement we have for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Another in the line of titles that Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive have been dropping out there, only this time it takes us back before a good chunk of the main games. Yes, this is more of a prequel to the titles in A Plague Tale, but also focusing on a character we were only introduced to in the second full title. It is a weird bit of timey wimey stuff, but I am sure it will all make sense when 2026 rolls out and we get to experience the title on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

Resident Evil Requiem Is Aiming To Bring Us All A New Era Of Horror In 2026
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The ninth main Resident Evil title has been revealed with Resident Evil Requiem on the way and coming much sooner than expected We made it through villages and various other remakes out there, and now we are back with the official reveal for Resident Evil Requiem. This is going to be the ninth official title in the mainline of the IP that Capcom has been bringing us for decades now. Something truly new, even if it looks like we will go back to a few places from the past in the Resident Evil story. Not a terrible thing at all, but worth noting so we can get an idea as to what is going in out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of June 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. With Summer Games Fest, IGN Live, and Steam Next Fest going down, we are going to have loads to talk about. Maybe even more for The Witcher 4, 007 First Light, and Silent Hill f to name a few of the video games out there. I am sure there is going to be many more we should have during this week too, but had to be held so the powers that be can have all of the glory to it all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of June 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Mimic A new secret for the Mimic is out of the archives for the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic Another week has gone by and we are one more week closer to the release of Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic on June 13th. In just one more week, we will start to learn all of these secrets on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when Steel Wool Studios offers it out there. Until then, we can try to piece together some things with another of the weekly Archive videos that have been dropping. Most feel like they are linked to the Mimic as we know it already, but this one feels like it is dabbling in for other characters too. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of June 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy Final Fantasy fans are going to be getting yet another blast from the past with the announcement for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles Another classic case of something that started out as a rumor and now is a real thing, with the announcement for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles. A remaster and enhancement from the classic title that Square Enix dropped out there back in 1997, and many tactical RPG gamers have been waiting for it to come back. Maybe more as a full remake, but beggars cannot be choosers in the instance of things. Read More...

007 First Light Explodes Onto The Scene For One More Big Mission
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
007 The tease of Project 007 is finally revealed as we have the full announcement and look at 007 First Light now It has only taken five years, but here we are with the official announcement for 007 First Light. It is hard to think that it has been in the shadows for that long over at IO Interactive, but here we are fresh out of the State Of Play with the announcement. Sadly, the announcement does tell us that we are going to have to wait until 2026 to actually get to experience the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. On the positive side of things, though, we do get to see some of 007 in action as well as when and where this version of it all is going to take place. Read More...

Review — Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
by Cody Killebrew [ Wednesday, 4th of June 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Clair Obscur We sit down and review Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. A true French JRPG game that most did not see coming. Here is our review of half of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 A true French JRPG game, both in the sense that it was developed by a French company, Sandfall Interactive, and in the sense of a throwback to when JRPGs were turn-based rather than action RPG oriented. While Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is turn-based, it keeps the player engaged during enemy turns by incorporating some active elements into the turn-based system, namely that of Dodge and Parry. With successful Dodging and Parrying having more impact beyond the immediate, such as a counterattack with an individual character, or the entire party for enemy attacks that strike the whole party, if you successfully parry all attacks in the attack pattern, as well as potentially gaining more Action Points for your next turn on each character. This Week In Video Games 5/28/25 — 5/30/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of May 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week While we did not get a full week this week, we have made it to the end of things and had so many video games show up in the mix. All of the fun with titles like Mafia: The Old Country and Atomfall getting some fun new updates to take in. Then some of the smaller titles like Bad Cheese and Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic are having some fun too. Okay, the latter title might not be as small as the others, but it is not on the level of a AAA title we all have been conditioned for. Read More...
