This Week In Video Games 9/18/17 — 9/22/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of September 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another amazing week of video games and everything in the bag. Even though it may have felt as if it was heavy handed toward a particular title, *cough* Call Of Duty: WWII *cough*, there was still a whole lot to cover. Then again, TGS was also going on so it makes perfect sense that there would be a lot of updates and news on all of the video games out there. Hells, we had a chance to see more for Resident Evil 7's upcoming DLC, then we had the Gold announcement for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and even with Vampyr's delay we could not be brought down. Humanity Has Learned Nothing As Left Alive Is Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Left Alive New title, Left Alive, has been officially announced and it looks like Left Alive aims to take us on a robotic apocalypse in the future…of sorts Unless you have been under a rock for the last few days, then you may have heard that Square Enix was teasing a new title called Left Alive out at TGS. They posted a teaser for the teaser video earlier on and gave a very small blurb about what is going on with the game. Not too much at all besides a few of the names behind the development and character design that will be working on Left Alive. Read More...

The Evil Within 2 Gets A Whole Lot Of Gameplay To Dissect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Evil Within 2 Previews of The Evil Within 2 are out there and they show off quite a bit of The Evil Within 2 in terms of bosses and puzzles to expect More of The Evil Within 2 is here to be shown off as many of the larger outlets out there have been given yet another sample of the game just a few weeks before launch. Hells, they could already have the game in hand as Bethesda is launching it all on October 13th so it would make sense that Tango Gameworks is done and now the media train is rolling. No matter the case, all of these previews for The Evil Within 2 are there and also bringing us a whole lot of new gameplay to look at and break down. Read More...

The Monster Hunter Is In Action For Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom Gameplay for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite's Monster Hunter DLC is here and shows off just how the character could play when the DLC hits Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Earlier in the week, we had a nice introduction to the rest of the DLC cast coming to Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite in due time. Word that Venom, Black Widow, Winter Soldier, and Monster Hunter would be rounding it all out came from Capcom and there were a few mixed feelings about all of that. Especially since there was nothing else given to help all of those playing Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite to get an idea on what the character could play like when finally opened up to the world. Call Of Duty: WWII Adds More Allies To Our Side Of The Conflict
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty Get introduces to a few more Allies in Call Of Duty: WWII as well as see just how authentic the team is trying to make this Call Of Duty title Just when you thought we had all of the Call Of Duty: WWII updates we were going to get for the week, Activision drops a few more. It is almost like they dropped the big story trailer and then realized that they left a whole lot out of the basic story that Sledgehammer Games has prepped and now they need to bring the rest of it all. Not really the case as it is all still promotion for Call Of Duty: WWII and reminders to pre-order the game on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC before November 3rd, but it can feel that way. Especially since we have another two characters to add into the grander scheme of the game and the conflict of the war we will be fighting. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Is Getting More Action When Not A Hero Releases
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Gameplay for Resident Evil 7's upcoming DLC, Not A Hero, is out there from TGS and it looks to bring Resident Evil 7 some of the action from prior titles We have been waiting so long for the Not A Hero DLC to come to Resident Evil 7 and all we have had so far has been little teases and images of what Chris will look like and that it is coming. At least if you made it all the way through the game or did not care about spoiling it online. Anyways, Capcom has not given much outside of the date to look for it to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Vampyr Will Stalk The Darkness A Bit More As It Is Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Vampyr It looks like Vampyr has been given a delay due to a technical issue and now we can look for Vampyr to come to us sometime in Spring of 2018 Mark another title down for delay as Vampyr has been struck with just that and will be missing it release date that was supposed to be this year. There was never a specific date set down, but it looks like DontNod ran into an issue to the point that they had to push the release off to Spring of 2018. Another ambiguous date thrown out there for Vampyr, but it looks like we may have to wait as long as April of 2018 to finally see the game see the light of day on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I guess we can all focus on the fact that it has not been hit with a cancellation and just hope for the best. Read More...

Meet A Few Of The Good Men In Our Squad For Call Of Duty: WWII
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We have seen part of the story for Call Of Duty: WWII and now we get a little closer to the squad we will be following along in this Call Of Duty story We already had a nice look at the story for Call Of Duty: WWII, or at least as much as Activision wanted us to see, and now we get to follow it right up with a few more little snippets to show off the main squad we will be following along. The last trailer did focus a lot on "Red" Daniels who will be the protagonist that Sledgehammer Games is giving us, but of course, there will be supporting members for the story and team. That is what we have here for you now as we wait for November 3rd to hit and we get to see just what has been packed into Call Of Duty: WWII besides the multiplayer. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom The remaining four characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite's DLC list have been confirmed and will be bringing more fan-favorites to Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite soon Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite is just about to launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC tomorrow (9/19/17) so that means it is time to talk DLC for the game. Never a better time than just before the launch of the game to talk about what will be added on later and not right out of the gate. At least it will give you a little more time to figure out if you want to drop the money now to pick up the Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonuses. Read More...

Call Of Duty: WWII Will Have An Explosive Story For Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A story trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII is here and shows us all how this addition to the Call Of Duty franchise will take us deeper into some iconic battles Hold on to your butts as the story trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII is here and it looks like we will be going through another explosive journey in far off lands where we meet new people and then kill them. Or we just have to deal with all the insanity of the Second World War and the parts that Sledgehammer Games has pulled for us. Still not the best of cake walks to have, but it goes a bit further into the "back to Call Of Duty's roots" for this installment. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/11/17 — 9/15/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of September 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That wraps up yet another week of video games here and now we get to have a small break. At least from the updates as we have a whole lot of titles releasing here in short order as well as on the close horizon. It may seem like The Evil Within 2 and Shadow Of War are still very far away, but these video games are now only a few weeks off. Then we look at Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and need to remember that it is only a few days off now. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Friday, 15th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]

Get Ready To Take To The Sky With ThatGameCompany's Next Title
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 13th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Sky The next title from ThatGameCompany has been announced, Sky, and it looks to do just what the title says by taking us on an adventure in the Sky It looks like the wait for whatever the next title ThatGameCompany is working is now over as we just had the announcement that it is a title named Sky. It is nice, simplistic, and looks to use the same gameplay modes that the developer has used for so long to make some amazing title. The only truly weird part is that Sky will be coming to the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV before anywhere else. Read More...

The Evil Within 2 Looks To Ramping Up Some Of The Action Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Evil Within Another trailer for The Evil Within 2 is here and it shows a bit more of the action we can expect mixed into The Evil Within 2 when it launches If you like to have a lot of action in your horror games, then get ready to add The Evil Within 2 into the mix as the latest trailer definitely shows that there will be plenty of that mixed into the final game. Not that Tango Gameworks is going out of their way to make this game in that vein, but it certainly looks like there will be more of it in this title when compared to the prior one. So far, The Evil Within IP has been more of the true horror side of the spectrum, but maybe this was a call from on high over at Bethesda. Read More...
