Gwent New details on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's player progression system have been revealed and it looks like players who can't play Gwent non-stop won't be penalized too much The closed beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is fully underway and has been for some time. Maybe you made it in or maybe you didn't. Either way that doesn't mean that there aren't some sweet card battles going on and that CD Projekt RED isn't taking all of the feedback given to help make this title the best version it can be. I personally thought that what we had in the original mini-game of Gwent was amazing but this full version is adding on a lot of extras to make it more than just a card game and something we all want to keep progressing through at the end of the day. The Game Awards The official list of nominated games for The Game Awards 2016 has been released as well as which categories fans of The Game Awards can vote in As December 1st gets closer we also get a bit closer to The Game Awards showing off. This also means that now that we are even closer that we have a full list of the titles, developers, voice actors, and everything else up for an award during this event. That's right, we now have a list of the nominated for The Game Awards and not just the ones being selected by the super-secret panel of judges but also a few that we the gamers can have a say in. Marvel New documents point to that Marvel and Telltale collaboration to be bringing Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy to a system near you in 2017 If you put on your "way back" hat you may remember the announcement that Marvel and Telltale Games were going to be working together to bring us a new story set in the massive universe they have to play in. Nothing was set in stone or defined out at that time outside of the plan to bring whatever title the two were working on to market in 2017. The Last Guardian New gameplay demo footage for The Last Guardian has popped up online to give us all a more solid taste of what The Last Guardian will bring us Let they hype train keep rolling for The Last Guardian as we have more gameplay footage for the game to look at here fresh out of a demo shown off at a London demo event. I am still at a bit of a loss as to all the hype building around this title from genDESIGN but it is something a large portion of the games out there are excited for and who am I to dash your dreams for this new PS4 title. Assassin's Creed A new comparison video for Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection has popped up to show us just how much better the past Assassin's Creed titles will look now Next week we will see the Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection finally hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Outside of words and a small announcement for the bundle though Ubisoft has yet to really show us the work that has gone into the games that will be coming in the bundle. Dishonored 2 The launch trailer for Dishonored 2 has released and it shows off a lot more of Dishonored 2 than we could have expected Before we dig into the new video here for Dishonored 2 I am going to preface this here with a spoiler warning. If you were trying to keep all of the big story bits for the game a secret until you spun the game up on November 11th then you may want to skip right along as it looks like Bethesda as given us a very spoilery video for the story. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And with that, we end another week in video games and it has been yet another one that has been all over the place. We had more updates on Resident Evil 7 and Final Fantasy XV as well as a plethora of new information for Watch Dogs 2 and Dishonored 2. And those were only the triple A video games that we had to cover here as we saw both Project Wight and Maize get some announcements into the mix. Tomb Raider We sit down and review Rise Of The Tomb Raider. It has finally made it over to the PS4 with all its DLC. Here's our review of Rise Of The Tomb Raider It's been a year and a bunch of DLC packs since Rise Of The Tomb Raider launched on the Xbox One and then the PC. Now we have the game here on the PS4 with all of its DLC and upgrades that have been applied over that year in the form of Crystal Dynamics' definitive edition as it were. It may not have that title but with everything packaged here it surely feels that way. The Game Awards The date for The Game Awards is final and it looks like we'll be able to watch The Game Awards in a new way this year; in VR The date is set for The Game Awards as we will be able to see this event fire off yet again and this time on December 1st. Project Wight A new game in the works codenamed Project Wight has a new sneak peek to show off what we could have in store when Project Wight comes to market It is always interesting to see where some developers go after they leave other big projects and it looks like Project Wight is the next game to jump into this category. This is the new title coming from a new development team named The Outsiders and it looks like they are taking that name a bit to heart on what we have here for the first "sneak peek" of their project. Project Wight seems to be the working title for the game right now and just as we have a working title to work with we also have very few details on what this game is going to fully entail.
