Have An Alternate History Lesson On Prey's TranStar Corporation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Prey Another video for Prey has been released and this one gives us all a little background on Prey's alternate history we'll experience We've seen a bit of the story for Prey already and of course we all knew that there would be more to it all. I mean, Arkane Studios needed to give us a better reason to be on the space craft other than "just cause." There is already another game titled that anyways. Well, as it looks, we do have more on the story of Prey as Bethesda has brought us a new animated short that goes through the paces of the alternate history that will lead to the game's events. Earlier today Rockstar Games finally announced the game but has given very little information out side of the name and a feature or two that we can expect. Although one of those new Red Dead Redemption 2 was kind of ruined by Take-Two Interactive through a web registration before the official announcement, but more on that in a moment. For now we can focus on the game getting the announcement and heading to the PS4 and Xbox One next Fall. Read More...

There Have Already Been A Lot Of Final Fantasy XV Fond Memories
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV The final voice cast video for Final Fantasy XV has released and it shows us just what parts of Final Fantasy XV the cast hold dear to themselves It's almost like Square Enix wants to keep teasing us with new stuff for Final Fantasy XV without actually giving us any more than they already have. We have had a few hours worth of gameplay shown off already if we combined all of the footage up to now in one spot. Given that Final Fantasy XV is looking at a long time frame to beat it doesn't seem like they could really show us that much more before November 29th that would spoil it all but I guess that could be a worry over there so we end up where we are right now. Some Kind Of Red Dead Announcement Is Coming
by Duke Searles [ Monday, 17th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Red Dead More teases for another Red Dead title looks to be on the verge of announcing as we get multiple Red Dead images popping up online It's always fun to get teases like the ones we've seen for a possible new Red Dead title in the wee hours of the morning. At least that is what started all of this off as early on 10/16 Rockstar Games put out a new logo that used the iconic red colors used in the franchise. Then this morning it was followed up by another new image showing off what looks to be a bunch of people in western gear walking away from the sun. Something very iconic for the Red Dead franchise so it could look like a new title is on the verge of announcement. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
King's Quest The fifth episode of King's Quest has been given a date and it looks like we'll be wrapping King's Quest before the end of October now It may have taken quite a bit of time to get the fourth episode of King's Quest out to us but it looks like The Odd Gentlemen have kicked up the game and now we are seeing the fifth and final episode here in under a month. Yes, we will be seeing this episode on October 25th for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Just in time for all of those King's Quest costumes for Halloween to be a bit more relevant for those who have been following along with the Sierra Entertainment reboot to the franchise. Read More...

Will You Answer The Call Resident Evil 7 Is Making Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Two new videos for Resident Evil 7 have been released and both show off some new things coming to Resident Evil 7 while not too much It looks like two new teaser videos for Resident Evil 7 have released and both of them look straight forward until you start to dig into things and see what could be teased here. It seems that this is going to keep being the way for Capcom as they promote the game but that just means that the ride until January 24th is going to be a fun one; right? Sure why not and if not we can just keep distracting ourselves with these new little teasers for Resident Evil 7 until then. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Is Getting Single Player, But There's A Catch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th The much requested single player feature for Friday The 13th: The Game has been confirmed but that means that we won't be seeing Friday The 13th launch this year It looks like we have yet another good news/bad news scenario here and this one crops up for Friday The 13th: The Game. It has been one title I have had close to my heart since Gun Media and Illfonic first announced it and kept bringing us more and more for it during the days of Kickstarter. That's why I'm going to start with the bad news here first for Friday The 13th so we can get to the positive side of all of this. Read More...

Here's our review of King's Quest: Snow Place Like Home It's been about five months since the last episode of King's Quest was released so it seems like it was about time to get the next episode in the mix. Dishonored 2's Level Possibilities Feel Endless With Their Themed Missions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 Another developer diary for Dishonored 2 has released and this one delves into the endless possibilities that Dishonored 2's levels should feel to have We've seen some great level design so far in Dishonored 2 over the marketing campaign and showing off of the game so far. It looks like it will be another impressive feather in the cap of Arkane Studios when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11th. Of course all of that does come with the worry that Bethesda has only allowed the best parts of Dishonored 2 to be shown off so far and have hidden away any blemishes that might be there or will still be there after launch. Not like that never happens in the video game world right? Read More...

Titanfall 2's Single-Player Looks To Be Something Truly Unique
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Titanfall 2 More gameplay for Titanfall 2 has been released and this time the developers explain how Titanfall 2's single-player will be unique October 28th is rapidly approaching and I know we are all antsy in the pantsy to get our hands on Titanfall 2. Be it for the multiplayer modes we've already experienced or be it for the new and unique single-player campaign that Respawn has crafted for us. No matter the case we are all excited for the game and now we have more to get amped about as we have another look at Titanfall 2's single-player mode and some of the interesting things we are going to get to do besides just shooting and killing. It's not like EA won't have enough titles out there on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC doing just that so it is a bit refreshing I guess. Read More...

Batman: The Telltale Series' Third Episode Has A Date & It's Missing A Face
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Batman The third episode of Batman: The Telltale Series has a release date and it looks like one of Batman's iconic villains is showing his face again It seems like only days ago that we had the second episode of Batman: The Telltale Series release and now we are on the verge of having yet another one release. Thankfully Telltale Games has given us a release date of October 25th as of now for the next episode to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with dates for the other platforms to come later. I am a bit curious to know if anyone has been playing this Batman title on the older systems lately to warrant any kind of concern on the delay for them but as of right now this is the date that we have and we can all deal with it as we want. Take To The Skies Of Battlefield 1 On The Majestic Wings Of A… Pigeon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 Details on a new mission for Battlefield 1 show that we will be playing a portion of Battlefield 1 as a pigeon to save the day We've seen some great things for Battlefield 1 so far and I know I am hyped for EA to release the game on October 21st but we have yet another mission to look at for the game and it may not be what you think. Some are questioning the minds over at DICE for this but it looks like we have a small mission mixed in where we play as a pigeon in the middle of the fire fight. That's right, Battlefield 1 will have playable pigeons in the game and it makes sense. Read More...

Hitman Ends Its First Season On Halloween Night…Or Day
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman The release date for Hitman's season finally has been released and it looks like season one of Hitman ends at the end of October We've been nice and patient and now we are in the home stretch for Hitman's first season as it looks like we only have a few more weeks to wait until we get the whole story and the final episode of the season in our hands. Io Interactive has just revealed the release date for the final episode of the season and now we can look forward to playing it on October 31st. Kind of odd given that this is a Monday but I'm going to go on a limb and say that Square Enix made some kind of deals to put this episode of Hitman in our hands outside of the norm; most likely to be able to get the retail version another push just before the end of November. Just How Will South Park: The Fractured But Whole Surpass Its Predecessor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
South Park A new interview with the developers of South Park: The Fractured But Whole shows off just how they are making this new South Park longer and better Recently we had the news that South Park: The Fractured But Whole was being delayed until Q1 of 2017 with very little explanation outside of making it a better game and experience for us all. The usual excuse given by developers when they can't make the deadline. The only difference here is that it looks like Ubisoft is going into a bit of the detail as to why we are waiting for our next adventure into South Park on the PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC as well as a few other things to look forward to.
