Psychonauts 2 A new deal for Psychonauts 2 has been struck adding in a major publisher and setting the release window for Psychonauts 2 to 2018 at some point It looks like Psychonauts 2 could potentially be an even larger title than we thought as not only has it raised enough funds from the general gaming community, but now it looks like the game is getting another major bit of funding with a new publisher agreement. It has just been announced that Double Fine and Starbreeze have entered into an agreement to add $8 million USD to the funds to make Psychonauts 2 above and beyond what has already been raised on Fig. It doesn't look like this will alter any of the existing things set up through the crowd funding and investing site but it will allow for a larger budget and hopefully a bigger and better game in 2018. Mafia 3 New details on Mafia 3's story DLC have popped up and we can all look to see Mafia 3 change a bit before the end of July this year It's hard to imagine that Mafia 3 has been out for so long already and just when you think it is safe to put the fun all behind you…they pull you back in. Sure there have been a few updates here and there with a bit of DLC pumped out from Hangar 13 but the real substance people have been waiting for is to expand the story. That could be just me but that doesn't change the fact that 2K Games has helped it finally come to a reality as Mafia 3 will be getting three new story expansions before the end of July this year. For Honor A new For Honor video shows off just what is coming with the season pass as well as how For Honor will expand even further post launch for all It looks like the For Honor news just keeps flowing out there this week and here we are again talking about the contents of the Season Pass and the post launch content that will be coming to the game on and after February 14th. If you've been following along here then you may already know that this Season Pass isn't like the many others that Ubisoft has pumped out there for the myriad of other titles in their library. This one will mainly include a whole lot of For Honor extras right out the gate at launch and then more or less let you have early access to all of the other heroes and warriors that will be joining the Faction War along the way. For Honor The closed beta for For Honor has ended but now it has been confirmed that For Honor will also be getting an open beta just before launch Maybe you were in on the recent For Honor closed beta or maybe you missed out. Maybe you were given a key to join in the fight from Ubisoft but it was for a system or platform you couldn't play it on. Whatever the case may have been here, it looks like an open beta is not on the way to For Honor so that all gamers out there can give it a try and also make sure that all of the game servers are up to snuff just before launch. Friday The 13th During the PAX South panel Friday The 13th: The Game had some new changes shown off as well as a new Jason coming to Friday The 13th and other customization Just before PAX South we had a nice new trailer for Friday The 13th: The Game pop up and it showed off some new music and a new Jason mixed into the game now in terms of the Misfits and the Part 6 version of the character respectively. Of course if this was all that Gun Media had for us it would have been a bit pointless for them to have a solid panel down at the convention over the last weekend. Resident Evil 7 The first batch of DLC for Resident Evil 7 has launched today on the PS4 and we have our first look at how it expands Resident Evil 7's gameplay and experience Resident Evil 7 has only been out for a week and so far it is proving that the team has what it takes to bring the franchise back to its roots and to carry on well after this installment. Now we get to see just how well as the first batch of DLC for the game has just dropped for the PS4 as Capcom and PlayStation are in bed together for now. Not the biggest news here as we knew that Resident Evil 7 was going to be getting its DLC fairly early on but what wasn't known is just when gamers on the Xbox One and PC version of the game would be getting their turn. Call Of Duty The first DLC pack for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is just about to launch and now we can see some of the new Call Of Duty multiplayer in action just before Last week we had a nice look at some of what would be coming to Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare in the first DLC pack Sabotage all in the way of some new additions coming to the Zombies Mode. Now just a day before it launches on the PS4 we have a nice little look at some of the multiplayer maps that Infinity Ward will be giving us in the pack as well. Gwent A new content update for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's beta is coming next week and will bring the Nilfgaard faction to Gwent in the process Gwent: The Witcher Card Game may still be in a closed beta setting here but it looks like the updates for the game's content will not be missing out on major things while we are getting prepped for the full release. As it looks, we will be seeing yet another faction coming to the game from CD Projekt RED here soon just as was promised and mentioned a few times in the past. Resident Evil The Resident Evil Escape Experience has announced a national tour to bring the real-world Resident Evil experience to even more fans out there While we hoped about it earlier in the week and the first time we were able to see Resident Evil get an escape room type of experience, it looks like those hopes and dreams are being fulfilled here as it has just been announced that there will now be a national tour. At least a North American national tour for it all as Capcom has not mentioned about taking it on the road outside of the States. None the less, it looks like there will be six more opportunities for gamers to try and get that real Resident Evil feel in a real escape room. Read More...

Paragon The next hero to enter Paragon has been announced and we will see her and her icy powers in Paragon before the end of January Where does the time go as it looks like it has been yet another three weeks and now we have yet another Paragon hero getting added into the mix here. Well, at least getting added into the mix on January 31st as that will be the date that Aurora hops into the mix here on the PS4 and PC. The Surge A new trailer for The Surge has popped up and this one aims to show us just what caused The Surge that we will be dealing with; at least the aftermath of Here we go with a better look at The Surge just before the big showcasing that is slated for next week. Well at least a better view at the general story that is being set up here by Deck 13 as this seems to be a bit more of a cinematic trailer than anything that shows off some new gameplay. Seeing as story is an important role in an action-RPG, I guess it is good that The Surge is looking to have a solid one for us to explore and in turn survive. Dystopian futures are some of the worst ones out there and we all may need a bit more training on this as of now so I guess it's good that it will be here in May for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for us all to ingest.
