Batman
A new way to play Telltale’s Batman series is here with the Batman Shadows Edition that will add a noir flavor to the overall game look
There were a few rumors out there that there was something coming down along the lines of a Batman title just before The Game Awards. That time has come and gone, but there were some fun things that came out about the Telltale and Athlon Games titles out there during the mix of it all. Now we are back to confirm, as of today too, there is a new way to play one of the old series with the Batman Shadows Edition. It has now hit the Xbox One and PC (Steam) platforms with plans to hit the Epic Store, PS4, and Switch sometime soon. All to breathe life back into these properties for some reason or what not…
So, what is the Batman Shadows Edition of the game here? Well, it is more of a DLC add-on to have with the game for those who already own both season and a way for new players to get everything in one fun package. Those who choose to go with the big package will get both the Batman series and the Enemy Within series in one nice spot with an extra DLC. This extra can be picked up separately for those who have it all already and want to play the whole thing again in a film Noir style. That is, mostly black and white with a bit of grain and the special colors highlighted only. To get a better feel for what is going on with the visuals, have a look at the following trailer to see it all in motion.
Batman Shadows Edition — A Telltale Bundle
Telltale and Athlon Games launched The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition. Shadows Edition brings a sinister new look to the Telltale Batman Series adding a noir-style visual makeover and graphical upgrade to the critically acclaimed and much-loved games.
The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition, which includes the Batman: The Telltale Series base game and new DLC, is available for players to purchase now on Xbox One and Steam, with Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch available in the near future.
Players who already own the base game can add Shadows Mode as stand-alone DLC.
