Theseus A new VR title, Theseus, has been announced and we get a nice look at how Theseus' adventures are going to rebuilt in VR Greek stories are always full of fun stories and adventures for video games to use and now it looks like the stories of Theseus will be brought to life in a new VR experience that has just been announced. A new VR experience being crafted by Forge Reply and heading to platforms unknown for now. I think it would be safe to assume that Theseus will be coming to all of the major VR platforms, but as this is only an announcement of the game, it is fair that none of that is set in stone just yet. CES New hardware and partnerships for VirZOOM at CES 2017 have led us to a place where the first vSports event could be held at CES this year It is a rare instance that we have something here that is about health here but seeing as gaming is getting mixed in we had to have a look at the VirZOOM during CES this year. More so when you look at it as we are getting some of the first vSporting events out here as well. Robinson It has just been announced that Robinson: The Journey will be making the jump from PSVR to Oculus so more can enjoy Robinson: The Journey out there Maybe you've had a chance to give Robinson: The Journey a try out when it hit the PS VR system or you were one of the gamers who were hoping for it to leap from the PS4 to another platform. While it originally looked like Crytek was going to make us all wait and only have the chance to experience it all in one place. ADR1FT We sit down and review ADR1FT. A new exploratory title that shows us some great fears of space. Here's our review of ADR1FT When I first saw ADR1FT I was under the impression it was just another serene space adventure that was a "paint by numbers" kind of design. Then as Three One Zero kept giving us more and more to look at the game evolved and looked like it was becoming truly unique all its own. Now that 505 Games has released the game we have had a chance to play and review ADR1FT in all of its forms outside of just watching nice little trailers. Ghost Theory A new title, Ghost Theory, has popped up on Kickstarter and it looks like Ghost Theory will let you perform some paranormal research on real world locations If you've ever had hopes of becoming a paranormal researcher but the dreams have fallen flat then let's get them re-kindled again with Ghost Theory. This would be a new title in the works from Dreadlocks and is currently looking for funding over on Kickstarter. The thing that is so special about Ghost Theory here though is that it is aiming to bring us just what I spoke about in a video game form but also in a VR form…and will give us access to go to and "research" real world haunted locations that you have also wished to visit already. Feral Rites Insomniac is working on two more VR experiences, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, for the Oculus and both Feral Rites & The Unspoken looks to bring us something completely new Fresh off their most recent amazing release it looks like Insomniac Games has two more games/experiences for us later this year in terms of Feral Rites and The Unspoken. Both of which will be titles for the Oculus technologies and feature very different forms of gameplay and experiences. Chronos A new trailer for Chronos has come out and it gives us another look at Chronos and how it will be one of the first VR games we are all talking about The first wave of VR hardware is going to be available to the public soon and with that will comes the first wave of games like Chronos here. This would be the most recent adventure RPG that has been in the works from Gunfire Games. The Climb A new trailer for The Climb has been released and it shows off some new caves and an alpine locale crafted just for The Climb With all the VR news out there due to GDC it looks like we get to add yet another bit in there in terms of The Climb. At least this time it is for some software that Crytek is working on and not some new hardware and pricing that will be debated for hours on end. What good is the hardware without titles like The Climb to help show things off and get players actually trying out things they may be a bit too timid to try in the first place? Werewolves Within A new VR game, Werewolves Within, has been announced and pits players against each other to see who truly has a Werewolves Within… The mainstream VR hardware is still a bit off from release and it looks like we have yet another odd game to add to the list as Werewolves Within has just been announced. While the title does sound a bit goofy it does look like Red Storm is trying to make something truly unique out of the gate for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR. Werewolves Within wouldn't be a true Ubisoft game if it wasn't trying to capitalize on every available platform that it can right out the gate after all. Read More...

ADR1FT A new ADR1FT video has been released just after the release day announcement and it is more accolades for ADR1FT than any true showing Earlier in the month it was confirmed that ADR1FT would be getting its PC release on March 28th and the console version would be soon after. Three One Zero has been working hard on making the game the best VR experience to have and it has impressed quite a bit. That's why I find it odd that it took so long after the initial announcement for 505 Games to give us the trailer talking about said praise for ADR1FT as well as extra the release date. The Climb A new developer diary for The Climb has been released and it shows off some of the ways that the developer is trying to make The Climb the most realistic climbing sim to date A few months back we first caught wind of The Climb as it began its development cycle. This would be the new rock climbing simulator that Crytek is working on to give us all a nice new experience to have with the Oculus Rift. For the most part The Climb sounds just like the title makes the game sound. Oculus While at CES 2016 I was able to play with the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch in a more intimate setting than just a video. Here's my take on the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch Obviously one of the big items around CES 2016 was the Oculus Rift; especially since it went up for pre-order and all of the new details cropped up just at the beginning of the show. That of course led to a whole lot of debate on if the Oculus Rift was going to be worth the $600 price tag out the door or if it was going to be another overpriced gizmo with a lot of buyer's remorse. This led me to take over the job of checking out the hardware of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers to see if the price point made sense for where the system is now or if, like I said, it was something that could be left behind. Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It doesn't look like we started the new year in video games out with as quite a bang as many were hoping. Rumors and delays were all over the place this week and that doesn't bode well for the rest of the year. Oculus Rift The pre-orders for the Oculus Rift are up and running and it looks like we will be getting an Oculus Rift in home by the end of March or early April The wait is now over for the Oculus Rift…to some extent. Pre-orders are now live over on their site and we now have a price and an expected release window for this year. That would be sometime around the end of March or early April depending on who you hear from. As of this writing mine is stating that it will ship in April of 2016 but I have seen others claim sometime in March. Read More...
