by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War Photo mode for God Of War was just shown off and it adds in a bit more fun into God Of War than we have seen with other modes like it It was no big secret that God Of War was going to be getting a Photo Mode and that it will be coming at us some time after launch. It is all the rage as of late for PS4 games and Santa Monica Studios knew this was going to need to be something from the start. In a game as epic as God Of War, you know there are going to be a whole lot of shots that we will want to capture and share out there. More so than just the basic Share option that the system normally gives us all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War A new developer diary for God Of War is here to further show us just how Kratos’ Journey has come since the closing of God Of War III If for some reason you have yet to catch on that the next God Of War will be changing up things in many ways other than graphics, combat, and mechanics then we have yet another developer diary here to help drive that home. More in the how Kratos has evolved as a character kind of way and no other changes to the franchise that Santa Monica Studio has for us. Review — Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Extinction We sit down and review Extinction. There are colossal size ogres killing the world and we need to stop them. Here is our review of Extinction With a name like Extinction there is a lot to build up to and deliver on. It definitely floats an idea out there and sets some ideas for any games who may be looking at it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC now that it has released. This would also happen to be the next title that Iron Galaxy is putting out there where we are the last bit of hope between humanity getting to live or getting eaten by colossal creatures. You are hopefully getting an idea of what Extinction is all about, but for those who want more, we sat down and gave it a solid play. Read More...

God Of War Will Have You Playing Your Version Of Kratos
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War A new developer diary for God Of War is here to show a bit more the customization in God Of War and how it affects gameplay When the pre-order options for God Of War started to pop up we all had our first look at how we may be able to customize Kratos in the new game hitting us on April 20th. At first, it all looked cosmetic and a nice little extra to change up Kratos' look as Santa Monica Studio has done in past titles. Then it was revealed that there was going to be more than just a little bit of style and look with this "gear system" in God Of War and that there would be some kind of change outside of just cosmetic. God Of War’s May Also Be A Bit Different Than We Knew Before
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War The new God Of War is bringing many changes to the franchise and here is how the score for God Of War has been changed up to give more authenticity One of the things that God Of War has always been known for, outside of the insane violence to the Gods, has been the score and music that accompanies the game. It sets the mood in many cases or emphasizes what Santa Monica Studio was going for in the scene. Think back to any version of the God Of War franchise and I think you will be hard-pressed to find a scene that did not have some level of music with it to set the mood. Read More...

Try Not To Fear The Reaper With The Latest Story Bit For Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Vampyr A new story trailer for Vampyr is here and dives into a different side of the story for Vampyr that we have yet to hear or explore Add another story trailer to the list for Vampyr as we have just that for you now. Not that I do not enjoy getting more and more for the game, but I just do not want DontNod to show off all of the inner workings of it before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 5th. I am sure that we are going to be safe on that, but we have another good look at the game's story again. This time it does seem to focus a bit more on the darker aspects of Vampyr and not just the general goings on in the game's world. Read More...

So if you like shelling out that money to get virtual things in Shadow Of War, get on that as it goes away On May 8th when the next big update for the game is coming. Read More...

Even with all of the parts of the game that Santa Monica Studio has shown us for the game; it still feels like there is still so much that we have yet to experience. The way that these kinds of marketing campaigns should work. Give us just enough to have a great idea on what we are going into with God Of War here but leave out so much that the game still feels completely new once we hit the title screen. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/26/18 — 3/30/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of March 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more solid week of video games in the bag. I really need to find a better way to wrap this all up each week. Nonetheless, it has been another fun week with pretty much all highs for the week. We had a whole lot of new information for God Of War and we had a chance to see that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is making the leap over to the Xbox One now. We also had a nice big gameplay dump for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden that showed us just how awesome that game is shaping up to be. Read More...

It is going to be driven home insanely well before the game hits the PS4 on April 20th.
